Excellent writing. I don't get people who say the WoTL script was too 'Olde English'. It fits the setting, theme and mood. The original script was just.. broken.
The writing for this is pretty good. Maybe a little TOO Olde English even by WotL standards in some parts, but it's miles better than having Ramza speak like they did in the original.
Your emulator's audio sampling rate is set too high, and messing with some of the sound effects. Apart from that, it's pretty nice. The characters appear to be well within their personas and aren't speaking anachronistically.
While the idea and general screenplay are nice, the language style used is not for me. Anachronistic as it may be, I do prefer a modern (yet still poetic) style. This one just takes my attention away, specially not having English as a first language :/ AS a game developer, I wonder if creating both styles in a future game would be worth the cost to offer as an option to players. The touch of Shakespeare in WOTL makes the world come alive. Makes it feel like it were ripped from the pages of history.
