Thanks that’s true to use 20vol. Keep integrity of hair sometime I use 10vol. With black hair move slowly but the result is amazing👍

If I was to switch to 20 vol from 40 vol does that mean I’d roughly double the time to develop ? Also wondering what toners you recommend are best on short bleached hair please Just discovered you on you tube and really enjoying your channel

Hi Julie, thanks for watching and the kind feedback. So…it doesn’t really work that way, every head of hair is different…but it would lift to the same level eventually. I can’t really give out specific formulas as again, there are so many factors…check out my Formula Friday series on Instagram, there are LOADS.

Hi Craig I was wondering if I could 10 volume and bleach to lift my roots I normally use a highlight tint and the condition could be better do you think it would be a good idea please let me know xx

Hi Shelly. I’m afraid I can’t give you a definitive answer without having your hair “in front” of me. That said, from a “text book” point of view, 10volume bleach is way less “powerful” than a highlight tint mixed with 40volume.

I'm a base 6 and I have about three months regrowth and the last time I put my tint on the root area came up very yellow and I used the 12)96 and I brought it through after the delvopling time was finished and I have very thick curly hair and I just wanted to do something a bit more gentle you should see my bathroom it's like a salon backwash and I used to be a stylist until a few years ago xx

Sounds like you have it all under control! For lightening I would always recommend seeing a hair professional. Sorry I can’t be more specific but it’s impossible without actually having a client in front of me. Good luck!
