  • An eagle nursed back to health at UPEI's Atlantic Veterinary College Wildlife Service was released into the wild by Mi’kmaq elder Junior Peter-Paul recently. Peter-Paul's daughter Melissa first came across the injured bird about a month ago, and along with her father and conservation officers rescued the eagle and transported her to veterinarians and technicians at the Atlantic Veterinary College for rehabilitation.
