I brought my German shepherd to the vet just for visits between appointments so that she could get used to going for happy reasons more than scary. Now I have no trouble. Just got a Newfypoo puppy and, lord bless her, at 5 months already got into something that required an emergency vet visit. We go for “fun visits” so that she won’t be afraid of the vet. It also doesn’t hurt that my dogs are super socialized and never met a stranger, especially the puppy
I don't understand why people don't do this as a normal thing? If your pet only associates the Vet with uncomfortable or painful experiences why would they want to voluntarily go? Mine are so comfortable at the vets my collie actually tries to jump on the table as soon as she goes in just so she can get belly rubs!
Those vets are real heroes. They are empathetic and not just looking for your money. Look at how they cut that dog's nails. I went to my local vet who refused to cut my dog's nails. She said that she was afraid of him biting her & she did not even try to calm him down or give him a snack.
I have never had any of my dogs ever be worried or scared of the vet's. I took the beauty in my avatar to the vet one time, and he had a table that he could raise and lower to exam his patients. The one end was at the open end of the room, the other end was in the corner of the room, faced a wall, and had a space about 3' between the end of the table and the wall. My girl was faced to the closed end on that table, and the vet wanted to look in her eyes, so he squeezed himself into that space, and had to squat down a bit to examine her eyes. After he squeezed in and squatted down, he looked at me and said "Your dog is the only one I work with that I'd put myself in this position with", because she was so well behaved and had such a wonderful disposition. I was one proud Rottie owner that day! She was that "once in a lifetime" dog, she is truly missed.
I had to wait in the car while waiting for my dog's appointments. I would walk in to do check-in, and I would barely get through the door when they would say, "Here for Sammy, right? Uh... yeah, we got you, girl." They could hear the protests from the parking lot. I would just have to stick my head in after the first year of having my beautiful 80 lb toddler. After one particularly icy winter, they learned not to say "ok, time to go home." 😑😂
Our dogs love our vet clinic, which we have used for 30 years, probably because they get treats. Not too fond of shots but the treat makes up for it. It’s important the owner stays calm as animals pick up on their owner’s mood. Some breeds are more dramatic than others, but I’ve never seen any dogs freaking out at our vet.
I had a Poodle many years ago that loved going to the vet. The vet staff enjoyed him too! One vet visit while waiting Pierre found a Dachshund that was happy to be at the vet too! The 2 of them played with each other until called for their respective visit. Happiest visit Pierre ever had.
Ok, everybody needs to keep in mind that dogs reason like toddlers. It's actually important for them to not be terrified of the vet on case they get sick or hurt later on. Especially if you know they're gonna get big enough to be dangerous if they're scared. You need to go to the vet just for socialization too.
This is not entertainment at the dog’s expense! I, for one, lost my precious German Shepherd a year ago and I too have a beach house! I love watching his sweet face and expressions! He got to ride the elevator! Thank you for sharing - he is obviously very loved as you take him with you on vacation! It made me smile as he looks so much like my sweet Max.
My girl dog was a vet pro and unfortunately she needed the vet in her last year often. For my good boy I have found a good vet. I think they will become friends over time. The vet is very cool with his patients.
Pues a mi perra, un labrador, le encantaba ir al veterinario porque le daban chuches, incluso me llevaba hasta la puerta de la clínica cuando íbamos de paseo
Had a dog that used to hide night before going to the vet. How he knew, it was a mystery to us. He was hiding at most ridiculous places for such a big dog, and it was challenging to find him.He would break his cover if kids were calling him so he would swing his tail and make a noise, he couldnt control that 😂
I had a little pit bull but he was very well behave. (he was small but still 128 pounds of muscle) Once he was not feeling well so took him to the vet and the vet wanted to draw blood for tests. The dog just laid there and watching them draw blood. Did not even pull his foot away from them.
Southern Nashville woman, born & raised. Actually married a man from Wisconsin and his parents liven in Tennessee. My mom told everyone I married out of my race and had halfbreed children! Once a man asked why my husband married a Southern girl and he said, "Because none of her brothers would marry her!" You Sir, are 100% right in everything you say and are a very good man.
I have 2 pitties, a mother daughter duo, and they are so different😂. The mother hates the vet😈, even though when she was small she got really sick more than once 🥺and that sometimes her previous vet came home🏢 for vaccines or minor things, and the fact their now vet is in our walk way🐕🦺. The daughter got parvovirus once and eats anything and everything😅, but has no problem with the vet, she sometimes even wants to go through there to say hi😂
Saw one with a German Shepard and he had all fours paws on the doorframe and the owner was on the other side pulling, lol. Nope, I ain't going in momma.
My dog trembles like a 🍃 going to the ver, but she'll hold still for shots and checkups. And when we leave the vet she's pulling so hard that she's nearly dragging me to tje point I might topple over. And she's a Old English Pocket Beagle by the way. 😅 5:57 And tbe Huskies fur blowing out like that! My goodness do they shed, but he was enjoying himself. 😂
I've found that using calming treats or pheromone diffusers can help ease their anxiety before vet visits. Huskies are such energetic breeds, and it's great they get to enjoy the outdoors.
Gladly my dog likes everyone and everything, so visits at the vet too. But my cats are always leaky at the front and the back either on the way to the vet or back (or both)…
Do you like somebody laugh at you when you're in pain or scared of needle? I'll be heartbreaking every time had to take our dog to vet and see him shaking from fear
Great content, as always! Just a quick off-topic question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
Even when the vet office moved into a brand new space, and I was careful to not mention "VET" before the visit, as soon as we arrived, my dog would not exit the car.
Makes me feel bad that we laugh at dogs who are frightened and/or in pain. If we went into a hospital for humans and did this - well, we wouldn’t, would we? These little or large animals really suffer. What is the matter with us that we treat this as entertainment?
Get over yourself. These dogs look perfectly healthy going for routine stuff. FFS just jump out with some pom poms and scream give me attention...................
The animals are not being tortured. The reaction is what we’re laughing at. The husky who’s howling during an event. That’s normal for husky every dog acts funny when they go to the doctor as long as they’re not torturing the animal, these are funny.
I have just read a book demonstrating that many routine veterinary pharmaceutical products are toxic to many animals.. Eg giving tumours at the site of regular shots.. When we trust dogs to work sniffing out drugs, explosives etc.... why would we not trust their perceptions about what they can smell on a trip to the vet????....
I know you're worried because you care so much about dogs but I mean, dogs are adorable, but they can also be really stubborn. They don't understand the same way we do that they need medical attention. It's the owner's job to take them to the vet for regular check-ups, and the fact that they're stubborn and don't want to go but still get pampered by their owners and the doctor is really cute to me. Easy, dogs are just like little kids and we're just sharing their stubbornness!!!
Do any of you dog owners even wonder why your dog does not want to go into a vet "clinic"? You can believe or not but dogs have a sense of danger or evil that we don't.
There are some lovely and humorous things in this video, however - laughing at sentient beings who are suffering/getting medical help, just doesn't wash with me! I don't find the suffering of ANY animals to be - in ANY WAY - humorous or even remotely funny. Videos like this are unethical and desensitise people to others pain and/or suffering

Thats a great idea
exactly what I did with my 3 dogs. All really enjoyed being at vets.

I do that! Great idea.
My Goldens were like that, going to the vets were a social event for them😊

*If only all dogs handled the vet like this!*

My dog went to her Veterinarian from 6 weeks till now she is 10. She loves her Veterinarian & she is always happy to see him.❤
That's wonderful! It's always heartwarming to see a pet feel comfortable and happy in a potentially stressful environment. 😊
My last dog loved vets. She escaped from back yard once and went to vets.
She sounds like such a sweet and adventurous dog
Clearly the vet had better treats! 😂 my dog loves the people at his vet, but he also raced out the door to escape lol
That's so adorable! She must have really trusted and liked the vet. It's rare to find a dog that enjoys vet visits that much!

06:11 - I feel that pooch, because that's how I feel inside my head when I get blood drawn or an IV ... 😂🤣
Every 🐕 wit' that "Cone of Shame" is killin me🤣
also the dog getting the trim down there. be sayin "careful with them scissors, I still need that for later"
Those little pug faced dogs are so dramatic! I couldn’t help but laugh. I enjoyed the video.😊
I had a cat who loved the vets. Nothing they did to him ever dissuaded him they were awesome. No cat I've had since was like that.
Had an old cross-breed many years ago he loved going to the vet
@ 0:54 That dog has a great job! Lay down with comfy weighted pillows, do some stretches, get snacks in between, sounds awesome!
Haha, they are very professional people at the vet clinic.
my 3 yr old staffy loves her vet
Pues a mi perra, un labrador, le encantaba ir al veterinario porque le daban chuches, incluso me llevaba hasta la puerta de la clínica cuando íbamos de paseo
The staff is paid in puppies lol
7:14 - the dogs face when it goes to look at its owner, "you lied to me"

My dog loves the vet and puts on the brakes when we try to leave. I have to drag her out the door.

Excellent. J'ai bien rigolé. Super vidéo. Merci ❤
That's how my dog acts she grabs that leash and says I don't think so!
Saw one with a German Shepard and he had all fours paws on the doorframe and the owner was on the other side pulling, lol. Nope, I ain't going in momma.
so cute
That's my doggie....urinating on his own bed with fear
DOGS are good at showing us the side of EMOTIONS.
Last puppy, I would have thought he was fixin to take flight.
Puppies are soo cute at the vet!
They adorable in they own way the vet isn’t so bad babies I love dogs so much and animals
Theses are so adorable ❤
That cat’s face says it all! 😻

It´s funny. My Dog loves the Vet
Mine does as well
I don’t blame you one bit little puppy I hate taking medicine to 😊

My MBT loves the vet and they love her. If the vet treats her well, why wouldn't she?
Good video prayers for you and yours
The cats and dogs are so funny🤣😂
Thanks for watching!
These are hilarious!!!!!🐾🐾
Vets are one of the luckiest people in the World
Oh my gosh!!

some of these dogs are SUCH drama queens XD
We have three Goldens. We have to take all three to the vet, or the one who went gets shunned all day... We've got the best vet around.
O moxie 😂
Silly humans
My 73 lb dog can drag a 150lb vet Tec across the entire lobby to get to me, lol
I know that feeling! Does the vet ever complain about your dog's strength?
@@funnypetslife67911 nah, they think it is kind of funny!
Hey! Is this the same guy who does the good news for the month ?
My dog absolutely hates going to the vet - poor thing, she trembles like a leaf on a tree.
Same. . .up till she leaves of course.
Great content, as always! Just a quick off-topic question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
My dog would cry and want to go home in the parking lot.
My dog loved her vet technician but hated going to the vet. She would cower behind me every time we went.
Try doing this with two cats, I have sleepless nights and anxiety when I have to take them to the vet
What kind of dog? 6:45
Lose the music...thumbs down!
Even when the vet office moved into a brand new space, and I was careful to not mention "VET" before the visit, as soon as we arrived, my dog would not exit the car.
Imagine all the smells of death and disease these animals can smell when they go to the vet.
I'd be terrified too!
To the narrator DOG what does that spell
GOD

That poor dog needed to pee
Intelligente bear 28
🤣…
I think it's a shame that people (including vets) train dogs to be afraid of vets.
I COULDN'T be a vet. I would be to busy petting and playing with the animals! Except snakes. I dont even know if snakes have a vet, the shouldn't.
I totally understand! It's hard to resist those adorable faces.
The radiation dog was boss
I have new pet not sure like the vets very soon these videos hate vets i hate dentist
I can't watch this without turning to sound off because of the terrible voice over that won't disappear.
The voiceover _and_ the music.
True
Do any of you dog owners even wonder why your dog does not want to go into a vet "clinic"? You can believe or not but dogs have a sense of danger or evil that we don't.
Well they shove a thermometer up there bum..that alone scare me.
Love the pets, hate the horrible video narration.
This would be so much better without the cheese ball commentary
whoever is writing the dialog for this channel has no idea what humor is.
irritating music
The videos are kinda funny, but the commentary is so cringe.
Narration adds little value
Went in alive came out dead

Get a sense of humor your missing out. If an animal is truly hurt besides its pride they don’t show em. Geezzz
There were no funny moments, natural source instead of your voice over.. n edobhh bhi
junk john deer anymore ysed be able to run them for years now seem every week there always something broke or not working
The dogs were funny, NOT A SINGLE THING YOU SAID WAS!
A video of people pulling dogs by their legs is cruelty, NOT entertainment.

Vets are horrible 😢 bad karma
