I was in high school, had a class with this kid Corey Siebert. Him and some others from school had a band. They used to cover this song during the talent shows and the friday concerts at school. Than he came down with leukemia while we were still in school. Eventually it got the best of him and he passed before we graduated. Super cool, nice and outgoing dude. They always say the good die young. Damn was that true. Now everytime I hear this it reminds me of him. R.I.P. Corey, your still missed buddy.
Condolences to him and his family. Sorry for your loss bro. It’s so shitty to see an artist die so soon or so horribly. From another artist to you and him
it’s 2023 and i’m still watching this. after all this time, all the bad news, all the things that have happened, i still can’t get over this band. i love their music. over a decade now, my first favorite band.
I'm 32 and my brother, Phillip, introduced me to them when I was 15. Phillip died in 2006 and I miss him all the time. They're still my favorite band. Listening to their old songs brings back amazing memories with him, being young and carless, that moment in your life where you feel invincible. Every time they release something new, there's this bittersweet feeling; I love listening to them progress and I wonder what he would think of the album or song. I think he would have loved The Devil and God are Raging Inside Me. The song, "Brother's" always makes me think of him. He was about to go into the military when he died. I really appreciate it's anti-war message-- "Just a few mother's sons will never really be enough/Not till half of our names are etched out in a wall/And the other half ruined by the things we saw " I'd do just about anything to see them live, to tell them what they mean to me, that it goes back to losing someone I love, and that I'll never stop listening.
It’s amazing how someone lives on through a song Though sad as hell, it’s such a great feeling listening to a sad song He truly is there, every time you turn the song on, he’s there I’m sorry for your loss
Beautifully written. I am on the same boat. My brother and i listened to Brand New all the time, but he also passed away 4 years ago. This music is always such a warm reminder of the good times. Cheers.
I'm so sorry for the loss but as long as u keep the small but beautiful things like this bond over music then you will always in a way carry him with u
I found this song playing on NHL 2004. One of my favorite games and I still play it. This plays when you win the Stanley Cup at the end. Used to play with my best friend and he always picked this song to play during the menu screen.
Turned 40 and this track makes me feel young again. The lyrics mean something different today than it did in the past. I think of all the Quiet moments that I have let past or wish I said when i had the chance and now gone. I feel the screams of this song as how I feel and wish I can scream into the past to change those wasted moments.
As a 38 former Goth Kid, this song still tears at my heart. For a good 10 years I chose to let life blow by me while I drugged out. It's crazy when I hear this and I think about "How different would I have been if I told people about my problems and why" I don't fully regret it though. I have a wonderful wife and child now, and I question if they would of came to be if I took a different path? Maybe it all worked out? Who knows. But this was my jam, the entire CD for that ten years.

I know it's not the same message...but when 2:37ish hits---i do everything I can to not picture him alone and still in deep dark water.... it's been that way everytime I've heard this song for the passed 12 years...and probably for the rest of my life...thanks for reading. Be safe out there!
That's crazy. My childhood best friend drowned too about the same year. I'm from Maryland too. A boat accident. Every time I hear this song, I think of him. Both huge hockey fans. Playing NHL on Xbox in early high school. We both had the same taste in music. He was 3 years older. Man good times back in the day. I have a happy memory of him with hearing this song thank the lord.
Always will hold this song dearly, something about it just makes it so haunting..and everytime I hear it I start to feel okay yet so sad at the same time.
I remember sitting on the couch in the summer watching MTV with my brother for 4 hours, just to hear this song one time on TRL. Big screen projection TV cranked, surround sound speakers hardwired on the wall. Gosh, great times.
I was a senior in high school back in '06. This song was my hit , hell, this whole album kicks ass. I remember one day crusing with my best friend , my brother from another mother Anthony (R.I.P) and jamming to this song in my dad's impala ..oh the memories :) :( ❤
you will. I know everyone says this but don't be in a rush to grow up cause it sucks lol. All I wanted to do was leave school and start working but just enjoy it while you can
Same here. Top 3 favorite songs in the 2000s. Good memories. Funny story, me and a few other buddies played this song at a talent show. It probably sucked, but we didn't care.
I don't care how so many people ignore or not even know this great music, I'm glad to have been a teenager during the time when this song came out. Us Millennials sure got a heck of a lot of amazing unique bands and solo artists during our childhood to teenage years!
Every so often I'll come on youtube and spend an hour or two watching old music videos from when I was a kid. It really takes me back, class of 2006 forever!!!!
You have no idea how long I've been trying to find this song.. I remember when I first saw this on fuse. I was really young now I'm 28. & its crazy that I totally found this by Accident, after all these years...
I first saw this on Fuse probably at the same age as you, since I'm now also 28 😅 This became my favorite album after I had my grandparents buy it for my birthday, after seeing this on Fuse 😅
This is my neighbours' favourite song, whether they like it or not. I even had one neighbour throw a brick through my window. I can only assume so that they could hear it better...
MTV2 use to have this show called Control Freak where viewers would vote for their favorite videos they would want to see on air and the one with the highest percentage would then be the one that would follow after the current video that was on. That was the first time I heard this song and it was AWESOME!! I was like that's quite a title for a music video. Pretty lengthy lol. I was still relatively new when I got into this sort of music but man it was just the best, Miss the early 2000s with a PASSION!! Oh and I just gotta say. I LOVE HOW THE INSTRUMENTAL SOUNDS AT 2:12. I asked myself when I was young HOW THEY MAKE IT SOUND SO AWESOME LIKE THAT?!? My young ears found enjoyment at a young age :D
Sherri Jenkins OMG IKR!! I never had internet back then when it aired but I always rooted for my favorite song that was up on the right hand side and hope it would get the votes needed to be played next and some times it did I was so hype lol. Oh those were good times.
Sherri Jenkins They seriously do. Yeah music is not even great these days but I'd be more than happy for reruns. Relive the times when music was at it's best.
Saw these guys live many years ago at a small crowded venue. Jesse was outside going across the street when opening band was on and he helped a bunch of us get in. Great times. ❤
I've heard this song at least a thousand times and every time it comes on it's still the best song no matter what I'm feeling- if it's a fucking great day or an awful day or an okay day. I don't like to say things are perfect but this band is and so is this song 👌🏼
Every day for lunch I lived across the street from my High School. I would come in, turn the tube on Fuse and this song would play at the exact same time every day. I would blast it, sing along and cry into my hot pockets.
NHL 2004 changed my life. This song band and album are my all time favorites. How can u go against Brand New's creativity? Scary thing is they're prob one of the most underrated bands in our generation, people who haven't listened to them are missing out. I use to play this album at work and people thought it was too hardcore...sad really...u wanna hear hardcore music? lol
@FarseerVisions Ask your Grandparents if they think we had the best music, then you will understand what I mean. Every generation says they had the best music 🤣
I listen to this song religiously....it brings me back to a place when I had no care in the world, graduated high school and had one of the most iconic summers ever. Best friends, booze and amazing music ....class of '04...i miss it 😢
I can't sing to save my life but I love nothing more than belting this out in the car to myself. I feel like a new person at the end, so much release of emotion. Happiness, sadness, anger. All of them.
I married a girl who too me to your show in ATL back in 2000s, color revolt opened. My life has never been the the same. I thank y'all sooo much for being the sound track to the best begining of my current future.
The first time I heard of brand new was through my older sister. I was 13 looking through her laptop trying to find music. And brand new was there. Since then I’ve been obsessed with them. Growing and still listening. Now in my 20’s I still head bang to this. This reminds me of blasting it and knowing every word
I thought l knew every word, but turns out l was wrong for years. lol @3:00 l used to always sing "l'll...die....for....only you....." Go on, sing those lyrics there and see how well it fits the actual song. Heck, it even fits the video. Lmao
William Chap And I'm here as an angsty teen listing to brand new, and other such real emo bands wishing people my age would just listen to this music, instead of the edgy crap like BVB.
Listened to this song after my parents got divorced when I was in high school and it tore me up. Now I’m 36 and my wife is leaving after 15 years and 2 kids. Life’s a helluva thing…
I just bought tickets to go see Brand New and I'm so excited!!! I'm gonna be one of the only 19 year old kids there but that's alright because there's nothing quite like the pop punk/emo genre from the early 2000s.
Angel Avilez I saw them when I was 21 in 2015. front and center stage. Can confirm it was incredible. Words can’t describe it. have been to 100s of shows and the emotions were so intense, this was the only one I legit cried at.
That guitar riff before the bridge is so good, that it was in my dreams, and woke me up at 6 am, and I sacrificed my sleep to figure out who made it. I kept thinking it was Shinedown or Highly Suspect. You guys are amazing.
Brand new, Hawthorne heights, Taking back sunday, Silvertein... all Good stuff.. With that said.... Buddy Nielsen owns this era/genre! And hes still making great music!
I walked around downtown LA 2004 at least once a week with this album pumped up full volume, headphones on. How I wasn't mugged remains a mystery but damn it was and still remains an album etched into my history.
This has so many feels and passion behind it. For me it’s there with Yellowcards “Only One “ and basically every song by The Used. Almost too much emotion, but I love it. I love it so much.
Growing up in Long Island and Jesse lived 5 blocks up from me and seeing this now .. knowing I should never rushed my teenager years because we took this type music for granted
Takes me back to the time when summer ends and fall begins, weather gets colder, leaves falling. Every damn time no matter where I am or what season it is. I’ll never forget that it’s crazy.
I was in high school, had a class with this kid Corey Siebert. Him and some others from school had a band. They used to cover this song during the talent shows and the friday concerts at school. by design maybe idk same here
i feel so lucky that i got to see their second to last show ever back in 2018.

Being in middle school in the early 2000’s and high school in the mid 2000’s had such a great soundtrack!

My friends in a band called chel 04 and they cover abunch of the songs from the game and songs from thps. This ones my fav

Dude, you're 40, not on your deathbed...
@@ScurvyK1D 40 is old enough to have regrets though, and missed opportunities that won't come around again.
Damn I screenshotted this bro. You kind of inspired me about to turn 22
As a 38 former Goth Kid, this song still tears at my heart. For a good 10 years I chose to let life blow by me while I drugged out. It's crazy when I hear this and I think about "How different would I have been if I told people about my problems and why"
I don't fully regret it though. I have a wonderful wife and child now, and I question if they would of came to be if I took a different path? Maybe it all worked out? Who knows. But this was my jam, the entire CD for that ten years.
Have you tried forgiving your mother?
Us millennials who had this music in high school were honestly the last generation to experience truly great and unique generational music. I miss it every day. It was a magical time to be a teenager and I feel bad for the generations after us who will never know what it’s like pre UA-cam or Facebook. Finding your friends through music was organic and special.
had this on CD and played it in the Sony Walkman that I bought with my own money

@Alison J That's it right there.. the state of being a human being on planet earth. It fascinates me yet I am stuck living it. Have a great day.
We had no freaking clue.
I’m 40 now and this stuff always takes me back.
I need someone with their 30's right around the corner like myself to be down to feeling nostalgic and makeout to this song like the old days. That's fucking "relationship goals."
You found me. 🤘
Yes can I volunteer?
Hells yea. Like out in the middle of a park in front of a bunch of people. Like we’re in our own world.
If "the old days" failed. They maybe shouldn't be "relationship goals"...it is a good song tho.
Im your huckleberry
35 years old still listening.. And since I haven't seen someone post lyrics..
We saw the western coast
I saw the hospital
Nursed the shoreline like a wound
Reports of lover's tryst
Were neither clear nor descript
We kept it safe and slow
The quiet things that no one ever knows
[Chorus: x2]
So keep the blood in your head
And keep your feet on the ground
If today's the day it gets tired
Today's the day we drop out
Gave up my body and bed
All for an empty hotel
Wasting words on lower cases and capitals
I contemplate the day we wed
Your friends are boring me to death
Your veil is ruined in the rain
By then it's you I can do without
There's nothing new to talk about
And though our kids are blessed
Their parents let them shoulder all the blame
[Chorus: x2]
So keep the blood in your head
And keep your feet on the ground
If today's the day it gets tired
Today's the day we drop out
Gave up my body and bed
All for an empty hotel
Wasting words on lower cases and capitals
[Bridge: x2]
I lie for only you
And I lie well...
Hallelu...
[Chorus: x2 (words from bridge continued in the background)]
So keep the blood in your head
And keep your feet on the ground
Today's the day it gets tired
Today's the day we drop out
Gave up my body and bed
All for an empty hotel
Wasting words on lower cases and capitals

It was! I was wondering where I knew this from!

Bc of this song my sons will never shoulder the blame. Thank you so much for your music.
This is so good but you must hear “World” or “Cage” by SLT 🌎🔥🎸
Man....this song meant everything to me when I was younger. Literally defined my young adulthood.
Can't believe it's been so long.
that sad nostalgic feeling am I right?
Brand New is the best 🤘 but you must hear “Winding Roads” by SLT 🔥🎸🎧!!! It’s like the brand new Brand New 😂🤘
I remember watching this on Fuse over and over and over and over again.
Same here. Top 3 favorite songs in the 2000s. Good memories.
Funny story, me and a few other buddies played this song at a talent show. It probably sucked, but we didn't care.
That's awesome.
FUCKING FUSE was a damn good channel! Nostalgia af
right lmfao I just posted that then saw yours this was my jam!
I heard this song on the radio a while back and have been searching for it since. Thank you Pandora for providing me the title
Listening to music from middle school = :)
Remembering you're turning 25 this year = :'(
Me too..
Aww lol I'm doing the same but 27 😞 womp womp
What happened to the years? Where did they go? And what happened to music?
Miranda 23 now =(
Really though
3:23 I woke up like this when I got into my accident in November 6th 2009. It was bad but I’m happy to be alive hope you all stay safe
How do you know you’re not in a coma like that one reddit story about the woman & the lamp light.
So many lines to use on my MSN Messenger handle
Yes!
Emo kids were the kings of passive aggression hahaha
🤣🤣
Bro that was too real! hahaha
Yeah I'll send you my Limewire list
I’m 22 and I’m at the point where I’m troubled to accept that my childhood is ove. Glad to see I’m not the Only one who misses the 2000 vibes
Do it now before it's too late!!!! You'll be alright. 👍🏻
Brand New is the best 🤘 but you must hear “Winding Roads” by SLT 🔥🎸🎧!!! It’s like the brand new Brand New 😂🤘🎹
You have PLENTY of time left to feel young. Embrace the shit out of it!❤
Only 22? It gets worse bud
@@GBAmerica1781 thanks 🤣
It is litteraly impossible to stop listening after the first chords.
The first chords are such a hook
This song is fun to play on guitar, that riff isn't that hard to learn and this is a pretty easy song to play.
10-04-2019 woke up with this song in my head. I’m 30 now 😭 made me feel young for a while again.
Hey Gus, I love you. Here for my girls they love Brand New, going through bone marrow transplants. Hang out brother, we are just beginning
Our generation.
Shane Olson let me know if there’s anything I can help out with!!! 💖
30? You're still super young....-52 here and love this band and many others in the genre
Samesies. I'm 30 and I HAD to listen!
First semester of college. Age of Empires 2. Ramen noodles. Cold rainy weather. This song.
Who want’s flowers when you’re dead? Nobody. ONLY PERSON WHO IS POSITVE ABOUT THIS SONG
Who want’s flowers when you’re dead? Nobody. reminds me eating a bowel of cereal at my friends house. use to live there
Who want’s flowers when you’re dead? Nobody. i want flowers when i am dead
I miss those days
Omg dude, so true! Feel you bro, nostalgic!
You have no idea how long I've been trying to find this song.. I remember when I first saw this on fuse. I was really young now I'm 28. & its crazy that I totally found this by Accident, after all these years...
crazy you remembered it
I first saw this on Fuse probably at the same age as you, since I'm now also 28 😅
This became my favorite album after I had my grandparents buy it for my birthday, after seeing this on Fuse 😅
This is my neighbours' favourite song, whether they like it or not.
I even had one neighbour throw a brick through my window. I can only assume so that they could hear it better...
Hahahaha
Haha.
Fuuuck
Yeah..
I love you and I wish I was your neighbor
Lol such a great comment! Well said my friend...
The minute I can afford a loop pedal the only thing my neighbor is gonna hear is this and out of range
My young ears found enjoyment at a young age :D
that show was AWESOME!
Sherri Jenkins OMG IKR!! I never had internet back then when it aired but I always rooted for my favorite song that was up on the right hand side and hope it would get the votes needed to be played next and some times it did I was so hype lol. Oh those were good times.
They need to bring that back. Although music now a days isn't as great.... :/
I would be content with reruns!
Sherri Jenkins They seriously do. Yeah music is not even great these days but I'd be more than happy for reruns. Relive the times when music was at it's best.
pop up video was pretty awesome to
here we ago again my emo phase coming back for this 2020
Haha I think your pic is funny
Rawring 20s!
@@kelseycrider329 Perfect 😂
Embrace it!!!
Did it ever truly leave?
Saw these guys live many years ago at a small crowded venue. Jesse was outside going across the street when opening band was on and he helped a bunch of us get in.
Great times. ❤
This is so good but you must hear “World” or “Cage” by SLT 🌎🔥🎸
This song can still make me cry 12 years later.
so much emotion. so powerful.
|-/
Friend of mine and I looped this for ages, back when it was new.
+Chene Scott oh riding the bus in southern Utah at night it looks like lil Wayne's lollipop video...
Same
*For a mere 4 minutes, I get to feel like a teenager all over again.*
J Moody same
yeah man. feel like i'm 28 going on 16 again
kabztunes no shit man! lol
Word up
So true. I turn 30 this year.. What the fuck
I've heard this song at least a thousand times and every time it comes on it's still the best song no matter what I'm feeling- if it's a fucking great day or an awful day or an okay day. I don't like to say things are perfect but this band is and so is this song 👌🏼
True That!
Yes! this song kicks ass.
Alli M DON'T TRUST A PERFECT PERSON AND DON'T TRUST A SONG THAT'S FLAWLESS |-/
You have good taste, and right now I'm having a shitty day.....
+Bill Montgomery thank you! I'm sorry 😣
It’s crazy how I never heard of Brand New growing up. But anyways, late fan to this song. Love it!!
This is so good but you must hear “World” or “Cage” by SLT 🌎🔥🎸
Every day for lunch I lived across the street from my High School. I would come in, turn the tube on Fuse and this song would play at the exact same time every day. I would blast it, sing along and cry into my hot pockets.
Jerry Nolen: Super creepy, my man.
When white knighting gets creepy.
NHL 2004 changed my life. This song band and album are my all time favorites. How can u go against Brand New's creativity? Scary thing is they're prob one of the most underrated bands in our generation, people who haven't listened to them are missing out. I use to play this album at work and people thought it was too hardcore...sad really...u wanna hear hardcore music? lol
Almost 40, and still dig this band, and this song!! Nothing changes, with music, just your age!! It's 2020, and I graduated high school in 2000!!
Saw these guys in 2003, they opened for blink 182, been a fan ever since, I'm 34 now and still rocking it 🤣
I'm 32! We had the best music growing up!
@@joeywoodpine14 I know every generation says that, now we are older we know why, that nostalgia hits hard doesn't it mate. Peace!
Oh wow that would be an amazing show!!! Lucky!!
I saw them at Eastern Michigan University with Dashboard Confessional in 2006.
@FarseerVisions Ask your Grandparents if they think we had the best music, then you will understand what I mean. Every generation says they had the best music 🤣
2021. 33 years old. 6am. Monday.
❤
2024. 40 years old. 7:33pm. Tuesday.
2024 41 515am Wednesday
2024 36 years old. Still good
Still one of the best songs of all time, even 7 years later. God, I love this fucking band.
Buddy this song didn’t come out in 2011 what drugs are you on
This always reminds me of watching Fuse during the summer of 2004. Gooooood times.
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!
God yes, high school. Hate getting old
Fuse and skateboarding got me through Middle School without losing my mind (that came later) XD
I still remember you Kevin! R.i.p, I'll see you again in the next life
This is so good but you must hear “World” or “Cage” by SLT 🌎🔥🎸
one of the best rock songs of the 2000s ...simply incredible
This song is over a decade old and it's still better than most of what's heard on the radio today.
Evans O How can it be a decade old if it’s Brand New?!!!
John Smith I mean come on, this stuff is WAY BETTER that al that brand new stuff! 😂
I lie for only you... And I lie well... hallelu...
What a masterpiece.
NHL 2004 42 yrs old love this song
Damn straight i play nhl 04 rebuilt on pc
The throwback feels are strong with this one. Never gets old...😌😪
still feels Brand New
+Owen Ploof stahppppp 😂
Please tell me u live in Illinois so we can chill and play great music together
Feels like a sleepy Saturday Morning with the Sun over the great plains
true takes me right back to 2007 - high school days like no other song.
Nostalgia... NHL 2004 brought me here !
Same here.
Same!
This song hurts now. I didn’t think I’d ever make it far enough to say I’m ok. We made it, kid.
I listen to this song religiously....it brings me back to a place when I had no care in the world, graduated high school and had one of the most iconic summers ever. Best friends, booze and amazing music ....class of '04...i miss it 😢
This is so good but you must hear “World” or “Cage” by SLT 🔥🔥🌎🔥🔥
The vocal harmonies in the song are just absolutely amazing
Melodies!
To this day I ALWAYS say emo male bands have THEE BEST harmonizing ever! But this band 👩🍳🤌🏻
Brand New is one of the few bands that continue to make me emotional with the vast majority of their music.
NHL 2004, loved that soundtrack. Dumped like 50 days into the pc version as a kid.
When I bought another GameCube of all the NHL games I wanted that one in my collection before any others. All because of the great soundtrack :)
This song still hits like it did when i was 12 👌🏽 idc what anyone says
This is so good but you must hear “World” or “Cage” by SLT 🔥🔥🌎🔥🔥
I can't sing to save my life but I love nothing more than belting this out in the car to myself. I feel like a new person at the end, so much release of emotion. Happiness, sadness, anger. All of them.
This song reminds me of when i used to play NHL 04, great memories. Time flies
I married a girl who too me to your show in ATL back in 2000s, color revolt opened. My life has never been the the same. I thank y'all sooo much for being the sound track to the best begining of my current future.
I saw Senses Fail once, they played this while they were setting up. I swear the crowd was more excited to hear this than the 3 opening bands.
35 and still love them. My taste in music has never changed
Lmao
Everytime I listen to this song. I miss my childhood ( We live far far away now ). We always play this song when we were young. Am 47 now, cheers!
man miss these good ol time - used to skate, listen to brand new and other bands. Now older with responsibilities reminiscing on these times.
William Chap And I'm here as an angsty teen listing to brand new, and other such real emo bands wishing people my age would just listen to this music, instead of the edgy crap like BVB.
Yeah. I’m 30 now. Amazing.
Listened to this song after my parents got divorced when I was in high school and it tore me up. Now I’m 36 and my wife is leaving after 15 years and 2 kids. Life’s a helluva thing…
How's it going
@@SavingPvtBryan32 I'm still here, so that's a positive 😆.
Is it weird that I considered this to be one of most iconic songs of the 2000s?
No
Nope
Not in the slightest. Rock music that makes us feel like this has never been repeated since, and disappointingly probably never will be either.
35 years old and I remember their concert at the Blind Pig in Ann Arbor like it was yesterday. Take me back!!
Man, as soon as they have another show in Michigan I'm buying a ticket, even if it's $1000
I just bought tickets to go see Brand New and I'm so excited!!! I'm gonna be one of the only 19 year old kids there but that's alright because there's nothing quite like the pop punk/emo genre from the early 2000s.
Jared McKell i know i'm like two years late but how was it??
@@roshanfey lmao damn bro. Me too. How was it?
Angel Avilez I saw them when I was 21 in 2015. front and center stage. Can confirm it was incredible. Words can’t describe it. have been to 100s of shows and the emotions were so intense, this was the only one I legit cried at.
That guitar riff before the bridge is so good, that it was in my dreams, and woke me up at 6 am, and I sacrificed my sleep to figure out who made it. I kept thinking it was Shinedown or Highly Suspect. You guys are amazing.
"wasting words on lower cases and capitals" love that line
This is so good but you must hear “World” or “Cage” by SLT 🌎🔥🎧🔥🌎
Who’s in their 40s still jamming to this? Good music never dies!
Im 36 and i remember when this came out vividly
Bless u❤
This is so good but you must hear “World” or “Cage” by SLT 🎧🔥🌎
Shout out to Tiger Woods 2004 on ps2 for introducing me to my favourite band, almost 20 years later and still loving it! 🏌️♂️ 🎶
This song has always done something for my adhd brain I can't explain. But it's amazing
This is so good but you must hear “World” or “Cage” by SLT 🌎🔥🎧🔥🌎
Brand new, Hawthorne heights, Taking back sunday, Silvertein... all Good stuff.. With that said.... Buddy Nielsen owns this era/genre! And hes still making great music!
All really great bands
You forgot about the old blink-182 bro..
+Spencer Paulson +Ace Peralta and Saosin

Never heard of it
Ace Peralta Really? Dude, go give it a listen to their Translating The Name EP. No need to thank me
I'm 30 and just remember how this was my favorite song back when i was a kid ...singing it with passion everyday for years.
Nostalgia ..
Still rocking out and making a difference in peoples' lives 20 years later - love
2024, 38 years old, and im instantly transported back to high school 😪
Isn't a bad thing ! Let your soul relieve.
That's why I'm here .
Same. Bitter sweet nostalgia.
SAME!
Same here . Never a phase. My friends band plays this.
You old @ss! Haha I'm 38 as well and same. Crazy
This is the song that started it all for me. Thank you Brand New. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!!!
I walked around downtown LA 2004 at least once a week with this album pumped up full volume, headphones on. How I wasn't mugged remains a mystery but damn it was and still remains an album etched into my history.
You're weird
I was 15 when i heard this album in 2005 and used to blast it walking down alameda lmao
I'd say i miss these days, but I'm only sorta serious
This shittt still hits hard. Take back to MTV2. High School. Wow good music back then.
This has so many feels and passion behind it. For me it’s there with Yellowcards “Only One “ and basically every song by The Used. Almost too much emotion, but I love it. I love it so much.
I'm 36 years old. Still listening. Still emo. Still here.
Same. Turning 38 in a month.
Something about this song man I can't stop coming back to. I love the screaming chorus so much.
Brand New is the best 🤘 but you must hear “Winding Roads” by SLT 🔥🎸🎧!!! It’s like the brand new Brand New 😂🤘🎹
Growing up in Long Island and Jesse lived 5 blocks up from me and seeing this now .. knowing I should never rushed my teenager years because we took this type music for granted

Takes me back to the time when summer ends and fall begins, weather gets colder, leaves falling. Every damn time no matter where I am or what season it is. I’ll never forget that it’s crazy.
Who agrees that Deja Entendu is an AWESOME album?
Well yeah. Fcking hate the boy who blocked his own shot tho. Obv a big lie, always knew that
You don't even need to know the details of that whole conflict to know Jesse Lacey (think that's his name) was good
They deleted my comment. Still pathetic. Don't like that song at all
I'm not really into this whole genre, but this album is one of the best ever made. I listen to it still. My teenage daughter listens to it too.
This and TBS “Tell all your friends”
