This is amazing! I have a 60 series wagon over here in New Zealand, has been my restoration project over the last 5 years!! Sitting on 35” MT’S, 3” suspension lift, 2” body lift, rear locker heaps more goodies! And I absolutely love working on it! I love driving it taking it to events but for the last 2 years it’s sat in the shed untouched and 85% finished but last month I made a decision to start working on it again and she is nearly done! Nearly ready to get her back on the road. Love watching you guys and dan do I love the DIRTY 30!! Keep it up!!

Really love the idea of raptor coating the chassis, it'll not only provide longer rust protection, but the epoxy will give you added strength,
Had a mate sell an old Mazda single cab and the buyer rolled it on its roof down a bank, investigators claimed if it wasn't coated it'd have crumbled like a tin can under foot.

This Mk2 is going to be totally rad! From what you said nothing has been looked over. Your choice of chassis, body and components is second to none. Here in North America we don’t have sweet 79 series cruisers so watching these videos is an absolute treat. I love the content and builds, keep it up boys.

80 series chassis, you should have put reinforcing plates near the steering box because it's going to crack.

you guys got it made for finding those trucks. finding them in canada is next to impossible. if mother nature wasnt sendin her minions out to get ya round every corner i could see me loading thesse trailers onto a ship and callin the kangaroo state my own.but growin up in a place where the worst thing that crawls on ya is a ear wig or milli-pede here, maybe a heffer or two,but theere the later nites on wash up days in the city... great buildman, keep up the good work and take care

Mines never had an overheating problem but power comes alot easier from an FTE

I plan to do a simular build with (no flaming ) jeep grand wagoneer
Same except I'd do it in a 4Runner and do a Toyota Diesel swap or... Just keep stock has motor and turbo it for more power and effeciency which would be the more affordable route for the time being since I'm in high school.

That's an open ended question, anywhere from 4k-25k depending on what motor ect..

There's 'stuff' on youtube and there's 'stuff'. This I gotta tells ya is one of the best vids I've watched in a long while. Sorta don't want it to end. I'm hooked, so will be watching all rest of the build.
Gives me inspiration to have a 'crack' at doing a build myself, have 'ummed & arred' over the years of doing a same but different. Anyways I've always got these vids to look back on.

Man I'm loving this build! It's been a long process getting my xj Cherokee "expedition worthy". Nothing too extreme but she does good in any terrain. Getting closer all the time to my dream of touring some of the tracks you guys run! Thanks for all the inspiration, cant wait to see how your trails compare to what I run in America!

I’ve been watching 4wd action for a couple months now, I live in Tucson Arizona USA. All there is around here are mall crawlers and “show trucks”... it’s refreshing to see guys building bad ass 4x4s. Sadly you guys are half way around the world, it would be fun wheeling with you guys! Bet my truck would give your 79 a run for its money😉
