Shaun killer job man, looks absolutely amazing. Only thing I would do in clean the headliner from what looks like mud or mold but other than that I'm super jealous!
Front driveshaft is around the wrong way, it will hit the swaybar and damage the shaft. Please upvote so shauno will see. The slip and stub should be where the hump is for the swaybar as it has more clearance than the driveshaft tube.
Been following these channel for a couple of years.Shawn I followed how you built the Dirty 30 from beginning to end and now Sooty. You Jock have actually inspired me into building up my own rig even though I'm not a mechanic.Mate hats off for you guys for a marvelous job.Cant change a thing it's perfect.Well done.
I’m in lust. What a Build. It’s absolutely beautiful. You guys did a fantastic job. And it’s been a blast to watch the build from beginning to end. Can’t wait to see her in Action.
For anyone who’s seen those stedi rock climber lights they are soo much powerful than what the camera shows us. Can’t wait to see what shauno thinks out in the dark.
Soon as I saw the thumbnail I clicked Gotta say good job boys The project is looking amazing Hats of for all the team and you working On this beast wish you all the best And I can't wait to see sooty in upcoming breathtaking adventures👍
Looks absolutely awesome! Absolute credit to yourself and the people that have worked on it! Can we hope to see a 12v special video on sooty with a breakdown of all the accessories? Can’t wait for the Tassie video!
I really am intrigued to know just how much a build like this costs, Sooty Mk II is already looking like an absolute unit! Can't wait to see her out on the track kicking the 79s asses!
Shauno that is an absolutely spectacular build mate. I loved the old Soot so much but you’ve done her proud with the new one! If I could change one thing it would be the slightly dodgy disco lights in the arches 😂. Look forward to seeing Soot2 in action. Thank you guys 😊
Must admit I was sad seeing old soot getting stripped out but new soot looks amazing mate well done.. well done mate and hope she’s a good thing and looks after you and gets you home safe .. on n up new memories and fun to be had 👍👍👍
The whole build just looks magic. Loving that colour. So many parts of it that are amazingly simple in concept but not so simple in execution, but you and your team have pulled them off so skillfully. Oooh and bush-bars would be a good addition lol. Cant wait to see the Tassie trip.
Sooty 2 looks great and you all put a lot of design into it. Definitely not a budget build, but it seems to be designed so well, everything should last a good long time. Can’t wait to see it in action.
I learnt a neat trick off a mate . He puts an old towel in the bolt bucket first . You use it to pull out the nuts n bolts spread them out on the towel, then when done pull the corners in and drop it back in the bucket .
@@Jimmy_Saf I’ll bet you he chooses pink it’s a very manly colour 😂👍 when they do another remote pub session somewhere in the sticks, ice, snow or desert he can call it the pink oyster bar 🤣😂🤣
G’day Shaun, This is my first reply, I have been an avid watcher of your posts pretty much since being grounded during COVID, being an avid overseas traveller the lock down has given me much more time to think of what I have missed in this country. I have been absolutely blown away with your Toyota builds, but being a passionate Patrol fan I have both feet planted in Graham’s camp. I have the opportunity to by a GU Patrol from a friend it’s had a hard life, the ZD30 engine has seen better days with over 400,000 kilometres on it, I know diesels are known for their longevity, I considered an engine rebuild, but crunching the numbers time and cost, and any performance improvements, I have decided on doing an engine swap with a Barra XR6 Turbo engine Watching this episode i am very impressed with the electrical work you are having done which is giving me idea’s for my build. I’ll keep you posted, I better shut up and send this, anyway it’s time for another beer. Cheers, Michael
Top notch work by everyone involved 👍 It's exciting that she's all back together though I'll miss the build videos. I've watched each episode a few times, these Sooty 2.0 videos are more addictive than Game of Thrones!
Sootys LOOKING GREAT!!! Gives me ideas for my 4bee!! Thank you Shauno!! Can't wait to see your next video with Sooty in Tazzy!! Keep Sooty on all 4s and have fun!!
Mate this is a great build, im new to the 4bie scene but mechanically minded and what you have done to sooty is what I would like to do. The only thing different I would do is have a hard pop up tent on the roof. Other then that, fantastic build mate!
She turned put absolutely beautiful. It's been great watching all the videos of it coming together and now the finished product. Can't wait to see it out in the bush doing what she does best. Great job👍🏻
A HUGE congratulations on finishing your build mate. For me personally, I reckon a few to many lights. But I've never seen a meaner looking old 80. Sooty is looking mint. Now get her out on the tracks where she belongs.
I’m so happy to see how Sooty Mk2 came out! It takes so much hard work to make a build like that. I can’t wait to see it running the tracks, making memories like the original Sooty did!
Shauno's not a mechanic? and i thought they were all mechanic in this channel... this is awesome! this channel deserves a million subs! more power to you guys 🤘
Love the way Sooty came out. Happy for you and the gang. Can’t wait to see her on the next video. Your a lucky guy to have such great friends that support you and lend a hand.
Stratos seats!!! Love watching you blokes bringing these trucks back to their glory. So many bits that are better than a brand new rig. I don’t know how to do this kind of work, but gotta start somewhere! Such great inspo. Thanks fellas! Looking forward to the trip vids. I went with the Stedi Pro X for my truck, they are awesome and an Aussie crew out of Melbourne. Their portable work lights are awesome and have strong magnets too!
Hi Shaun, thanks for all the great video footage to watch on UA-cam. As I use to buy all the older ones on DVD. Now from UA-cam I've been lucky enough to watch every episode since. Also, you must be bloody busy ATM with sooty and dirt30 I had seen dirt30 on a tilt tray today, traveling into deception bay. Nice and clean it was. Ready for a trip I guess
You guys are the biggest channel and don't take a stand of why you are not supporting a fellow content creator. This is still UA-cam and a community. You should make it clear why you are not wanting to share your exposure to make sure the message gets out, or take a stand and tell your viewers why you won't

Absolutely love it Shauno. Blood sweat and tears were worth it. We are all super excited for you and blown away by all the team work. Can't wait to see Sooty Mkii's first offroad foray. Probably in black dirt I imagine. 😁
Awesome truck shauno love it like you I am a cruiser man only moved my prado on cause I needed a bigger tow compasity now have a ford ranger to tow the van still a pretty stick old 60 series in the shed all I would change on sooty is where you mount your brush rails to the roo bar but that just personal preference as good as sooty is the dirty 30 is still my favourite any ways best of luck with the trip hope we get to see how graham is going love what he is doing and how it's put together.
My favourite part of the build is the front bar especially since the mod under the guards was done 👌 Because it's a unique 1 time deal it feels more personal Not to discreet ANYONE and the massive effort that was put in 👍🏻
I love the camera time Jessy gets. More of him please!
Seen the dirty 30 heading west today at the Eastern side of Toowoomba range...
Was only a quick glimpse but definitely her on the back of a tow truck

Crazy jealous! I own an 80 in the US and am considering so many mods to improve her. Nice job.
This has gotta be one of the cleanest 80 builds in the country! Best part is that it has so many similarities to the OG Sooty! Good on ya Shauno!
