Here it is! Formally the Sparesbox Landcruiser 80 Series, we present the Naughty 40 in all it's glory!
What an insane 4 weeks it has been! Chopped, painted, wrapped, modified, built, absolutely everything! It's been a wild ride. Here's a look into the process, from start to finish and a full walk around of our Toyota Landcruiser 80 Series!
We spared no expense when it came to this chop, packing it out with Maxxis tyres, Onestone arm rests, a brand-spanking PVS steering wheel, top of the line GME XRS Connect radio and all the goodies from Redarc: the Redarc Manager 30, Redarc Redvision Screen and Redarc Inverter.

I love how yall chop SUVs! In America we have had trucks that are the same as the suv counterparts so we never really chopped them!

Auto artisan are awesome people to deal with, I got my Ram 2500 wrapped by them, well they actually fixed my wrap that another bunch of fools screwed up!! They did a amazing job, also super friendly people, great customer service, I will use them again.
They truly are the masters!

Looks great, good call on the space cab to keep the weight over the back axle when it comes to the tray. So many dual cabs out there with the rear axle under the back of the cab making the tray useless.

So we have dirty 30, now a naughty 40, will horny hungee be next or will it be the "filthy 50"? What to call the 200......good to see Aussies kicking it on the scene, fab work is top notch. Way to go, can't wait for the 24/7 session. Cheers!!

It looks good, quite interesting how you set up the canopy. I have a canopy of a similar size for the suzuki. Been wanting to run a 69lt dual zone fridge freezer and some how still fit my double swag haha. Living out of it for two 3 month road trips was quite easy using a single swag type set up and a 50lt fridge. Love to see if your set up evoles at all and hopefully there won't be any leaning over being up that tall.

All that's left to do now is call Mark for his Ls conversion kit.... Ls everything. Mate just put his Ls1 Gu wagon with reduction gears on 35s on the road and omfg its an off road and on road weapon now. Converted me by 4th gear

This is heart breaking, almost got a tear in my eye watching that 80 get chopped. It looks good, though. Watch out dirty 30 you got some competition, here comes the naught 40.

Looks pretty similar to mine although I've got kids so mine is a dual cab. One thing I can highly recommend is getting it airbagged. Not helper bags, remove the springs and go the full swap, I did and it is honestly the best thing I've ever done, can level the car up on ANY angle or if you want your fridge/drawers/bench down at a reasonable height you can drop it down 6+ inches.
Oh and I ditched the rear tank as well but you I got a 140l replacement for the front tank so I've got the same capacity I had back.
What a build! 💪🏼 maybe you could do an updated review on it after having it for a year. She’s a beast.
