Dear Rusty, we were JW as well and this video’s helped us in the beginning to walk the path of discovering who God is. Because here they are close to what JW are telling. However , the way Christ is portayed here, is not entirely what is in the Scripture, because the disciples clearly stated that that Jesus was Gods Son, not any angel what so ever. After the leaving of JW I had much difficulites to discern what is true and what is not. The fact is, it not black and white. We are are now born again Christians and very happy. I love when Manoah asks the angel of the lord if he’s the same being who appeared to his wife beforehand and the angel of the lord responds with “I AM”
Every time I read or hear that phrase it sends chills up my spine. I couple months ago every time I turned around I encountered that phrase. I believe God was telling me that He was/is always with me and He is bigger than any problem I might have. 🙏

Yeah it's confusing to me.....the Bible says no angel has ever sat at the right hand of God.....so how would an angel that became human through a miraculous birth involving the Holy Spirit ever be able to sit at the right hand of God? Because He isn't an angel now? Or He never was an angel and this video is leading people astray by leaning on our own understanding when we shouldn't?

Woah i never knew the angel of the Lord was also God. It makes sense especially when Moses wanted to SEE God. God had to show him a version of Himself that was allowed on earth's terms.
I had this epiphany sometime ago. I noticed everytime The Angel of Lord appeared from Genesis and onwards, He spoke with the authority of God and at times the subjects even offered worship. I found that interesting and could only come to the conclusion that this was a incarnation of Jesus. John 8:58 gave a clue "before Abram was even born. I AM". It's a mind blowing bible study.

The Holy Spirit is bringing the church back into the knowledge of the ancient concepts that the biblical writers understood when they recorded the scriptures. This is thorough and necessary, and should be exposed to all Christians who want to understand these often passed over concepts in Scripture.
I agree. I don't want to get too critical of the theologians and councils that produced the creeds--most of them were far better-read in the scriptures than I am. But I still can't shake the feeling that too many denominations are giving the creeds precedence over the plain text of scripture, even as they give lip-service to a "Sola Scriptura" approach to the Bible. That strikes me as dangerous, tantamount to "teaching as doctrines the commandments of men" as warned of in Matthew 15:9.
I'm not saying that appealing to the plain text will necessarily force us all to the same conclusions about what that text means or how to resolve apparent contradictions. A good-faith appeal to the text of the Bible can still produce valid disagreements about doctrine. But I wish we could at least all agree on a scripture-first approach to having these discussions.

If teachers in churches understood that those that teach the Word are supposed to be called in the same way as pastors, evangelists, and missionaries things would be different.

For example, when he appears to Hagar (Genesis 16:7-13) and Moses (Exodus 3:1-4), he is called an “angel,” but also “Yahweh,” and even “God.” And when this angel comes to Gideon (Judges 6:11-24), he speaks as if Yahweh is distinct from himself (“Yahweh is with you, O mighty warrior!” Judg 6:12), but then the narrator calls this figure “Yahweh” (“Yahweh said…” Judg 6:16). We’re then told that “the angel of Yahweh disappeared” (Judg 6:21), only to find Yahweh still there talking to Gideon (Judg 6:23)! And it gets even more mind-bending! The figure that Moses sees in the burning bush (Exod 3:2) is the same figure who leads Israel out of Egypt in the pillar of fire and cloud (Exod 14:19-20), who settles in cloud and fire atop Mt. Yahweh is invisible, transcendent, and above all, as Solomon says: “The heavens and the heavens of the heavens cannot contain you!” (1 Kings 8:27). However, this God is also ever-present in all of creation (make a cup of tea and ponder Psalm 139!). When the biblical authors describe the localized, embodied presence of God in a single place and time, they introduce the “angel of Yahweh,” a human-looking figure who is both Yahweh and distinct from Yahweh. This ancient biblical belief of the “complex unity” of Yahweh is the seedbed of the ideas expressed in the early messianic Jesus movement. Jesus talked about himself as both distinct from God (“the Son”) but also as “one with the Father” (see John 10:30). I believe you are missing a critical piece of information that, if understood, would clarify the events read in the Bible.
Namely that (except Jesus The Messiah) no one has heard the direct voice of God. This will sound like a contradiction, but it is not.
What people do not fully understand is that God uses Angels as Messenger(s). Everyone knows that. What they do not know is that when God speaks to a man/woman or prophet; He does not speak directly to them. (as in using his direct voice)
Instead, it is an Angel who arrives and acts as a stand-in and echos the words of God. The Angel hears, then speaks what he hears. Acting like a loudspeaker with a thundering voice or a gentle voice that Mankind can perceive.
The same is true of the Holy Spirit. It hears what God says and it repeats. Leading to a communion with God without direct communication.
Again, it seems as if it were a contradiction that no man has heard God. But it is in fact true. (Except Jesus)
No one has seen him directly either, otherwise they would die. God goes through extra-ordinary lengths to hide his face from people [Clouds, Fire, etc], even appointing "Covering" Angels so that people do not witness Him directly....and die.

"Angel of the Lord" is factually correct. They (the people who are witnesses to these event in the Bible), do see an Angel (a spirit) [either as a humanoid form or a moving phenomena] and it utters the words of God verbatim but they themselves are not hearing the direct voice of God. They are only hearing His message.
So it is called "An Angel of the Lord". Are you catching on?
Basically put, the things people identify with God are actually Avatars of phenomena or Angels who act as intermediaries and deliver a message from God.

I have also experienced this. It is a gift, an amazing treasure and astonishing!!... that's the best way I can describe it! I can't physically see God but this light finds me and has spoken to me or in another occasion has entertained me by putting on a wonderous heavenly show that leaves my heart with wonder and joy. Than after, I am puzzled and wonder if anyone else has just seen what I witnessed. And because they're usually non-believers.. They say no, what are you talking about I didn't see anything! This is how I know it's a gift God has given me. I can not access it whenever I want though. It's not like I say to it.. appear! And it obeys or anything like that... This wonderous spirit usually shows up after I've spent time talking with God, or meditating on God. Or I ask God a bunch of questions. It's really quite fascinating!!

@@kurisu3289 I recently did some Word study with a friend who had a brilliant insight regarding God's name. He suggested that when God said "I am" to Moses, He did more than just say the Name. He Breathed life in front of Moses. I'm guessing that's why Moses was afraid. Beyond hearing Yaweh's name, Moses felt it. I'm guessing that's why Hebrew primarily has consonants. YHVH, when pronounced, sounds like Breathing. But that's just my guess. But that's just my opinion. Correct me if I'm wrong.

You can't use Isaiah 9:6 to say that Christ is the Everlasting Father. The name being mentioned there refers to the government given to the Child, not the nature or state of being of the Child or Jesus.

Don't put your own quotations and present them as facts. There are no Bible verses that say that the Father or God ever became human. That's just your own opinion and not biblical facts.
God the Father is spirit and not man nor did He ever become man because He's the unchanging God (John 4:24; Hosea 11:9; Malachi 3:6).
You can't use Isaiah 9:6 to prove that Christ is the Everlasting Father because the government given to Him is from the Everlasting Father, not of Himself (Matthew 28:18).

When Goku has a new power it's one he's never had before or something other Saiyans can achieve. Jesus is always God alongside the Father and the Spirit. He always knows what He can do but chose not to make use of His full power and authority when He was incarnated. He willingly showed more of His Divinity to Peter and the others.

omggg I'm so happy you guys discussed the Angel of the Lord especially the link with Jesus himself, cuz sometimes I'd imagine that when the holy people in the old testament interacted with God especially when human descriptions were used I would always imagine they were actually talking to Jesus ! and John 8:56 when Jesus also referred to himself as "I AM that I Am" and "Abraham was glad to see me " I was like omgggg it could actually have been Jesus in the old testament. The Holy Trinity is so complex and beautiful!

Very good video! I have studied the Trinity more and found that ‘The Angel of The LORD’ was Jesus in the Old Testament. This shows how The Trinity is not a new concept but has always been who God is!
