I think of the spiritual realm as a 4D realm where we live in a 3D world.. and then God can be wherever in the 3D space he pleases to be. Modern Christianity's biggest downfall is moving away from the spiritual/soulful part of the Bible. We're souls with a body instead of a body with a soul. Prayer isn't suppose to be " Oh lord thanks for this food I'm hungry let's eat amen". Prayer/meditation along with reading the Bible is suppose to realign your soul/spirit with God. Through prayer you need to fulfill your spirit. The Bible talks about how important spiritual aspects of God/Jesus really are. John 4:24. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth. Roman's 8:14 For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. Galatians 5:16 So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. Ephesains 4:3 Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. John 3:5 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.” There's another 20+ verses just on the spirit alone not including prayer.

God created our bodies in the beginning and called them "very good," and we will exist in eternity with heavenly bodies. We were meant to have a physical body, God gave it to us as a gift, and we shouldn't be separated from it (another horrifying part of death). We are both bodies and souls, unlike the spiritual beings and unlike the animals, we are a sort of amphibian inhabiting both material and spiritual.

Modern Christianity's downfall is the ever increasing scientific understanding of the universe by people who have long gotten rid of the mental prison that is old fairy tale religions.
I think the biggest downfall of Christianity is also their move away from Judiasm, the Torah and G-d's calendar, and their underlying theology that Christians replaced Israel as G-ds chosen people. Yeshua is God, Spirit and man, but He is a JEWISH man lol :)

It made sense to me because of a passage that says that the earth is screaming and in Eden when the earth is cursed....it could be figurative tough. And that's how I perceived it. What do you think about beings encountered while on psychedelic drugs? It is common for people to encounter snakes while under the influence of Ayahuasca for example.
@@mathewhill5556 personally, drugs are in a unique position. Some are truly mind opening experiences, but when the mindscape is open to a plane of reality beyond the physical, the metaphysical, its an exposure. So when people see things, I tend to wonder how much is imagination and how much of it is real. Perhaps many Elohim are truly exposed there, hence why people "see things" on these "trips." Depends on the drug and the amount consumed/inserted into the person.
@@LPTV84 I have had a number of visionary mystical experiences both without drugs, and induced exogenously with drugs. I agree that these experiences are an exposure that carry concomitant dangers. Often times encountering danger is exactly what a person needs to grow. Two Bible passages come to mind. Matthew 13: 13-16, Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand. 14 In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah: “‘You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving. 15 For this people’s heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.’[a] 16 But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear. 17 For truly I tell you, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it." We use your series for school once a week. I am excited to share this with my teens! I have learned a lot of this through Bible study, as well as through Dr. Michael Heiser among others, but I am always glad to see/hear your creative presentation of it.

Man I ponder on that passage all the time. It's cool just saying it out loud to myself. It's like a timeless opening sentence to an epic movie and yet, it's the root of the story of my faith.

Try giving the accompanying podcast a listen. It'll go through scripture. Videos are meant to scratch the surface. The podcast on this topic is broken up into multiple hours. It's a deep dive, but a worthwhile listen if you're interested in the topic :)
They are trying to tell it as simplified stories for clarity without clogging it with scriptural references for basic understanding. These videos are not meant to replace bible study but to draw you to it. It’s also made this way so that atheist and unbelievers would grasp the intent/meaning of the Bible without first of all questioning the authenticity of the scripture.

Even though I am an atheist (Started as a devout Christian), I have been binge watching these videos. They are very informative and bring new perspectives to Christianity a lot of people don't think about. Even if you are an atheist, I believe you should always look into different religions and learn as much as you can about them

I think of the spiritual realm as a 4D realm where we live in a 3D world.. and then God can be wherever in the 3D space he pleases to be. Demons and all those are real too, but if you hold God near they can't do much to you at all. There's really cool testimonies online I'd recommend watching those.

Modern Christianity's biggest downfall is moving away from the spiritual/soulful part of the Bible. We're souls with a body instead of a body with a soul. Prayer isn't suppose to be " Oh lord thanks for this food I'm hungry let's eat amen". Prayer/meditation along with reading the Bible is suppose to realign your soul/spirit with God. Through prayer you need to fulfill your spirit. The Bible talks about how important spiritual aspects of God/Jesus really are.

I'd be careful. This sounds like Gnosticism. God created our bodies in the beginning and called them "very good," and we will exist in eternity with heavenly bodies. We were meant to have a physical body, God gave it to us as a gift, and we shouldn't be separated from it (another horrifying part of death). We are both bodies and souls, unlike the spiritual beings and unlike the animals, we are a sort of amphibian inhabiting both material and spiritual.

Modern Christianity's downfall is the ever increasing scientific understanding of the universe by people who have long gotten rid of the mental prison that is old fairy tale religions.

What do you think about beings encountered while on psychedelic drugs?
It is common for people to encounter snakes while under the influence of Ayahuasca for example.
@@mathewhill5556 personally, drugs are in a unique position. Some are truly mind opening experiences, but when the mindscape is open to a plane of reality beyond the physical, the metaphysical, its an exposure. So when people see things, I tend to wonder how much is imagination and how much of it is real. Perhaps many Elohim are truly exposed there, hence why people "see things" on these "trips." Depends on the drug and the amount consumed/inserted into the person.
@@LPTV84 I have had a number of visionary mystical experiences both without drugs, and induced exogenously with drugs. I agree that these experiences are an exposure that carry concomitant dangers. Often times encountering danger is exactly what a person needs to grow.

Try giving the accompanying podcast a listen. It'll go through scripture. Videos are meant to scratch the surface. The podcast on this topic is broken up into multiple hours. It's a deep dive, but a worthwhile listen if you're interested in the topic :)
They are trying to tell it as simplified stories for clarity without clogging it with scriptural references for basic understanding. These videos are not meant to replace bible study but to draw you to it. It’s also made this way so that atheist and unbelievers would grasp the intent/meaning of the Bible without first of all questioning the authenticity of the scripture.

They are very informative and bring new perspectives to Christianity a lot of people don't think about. Even if you are an atheist, I believe you should always look into different religions and learn as much as you can about them
