I just got mine today and I’m loving it, but I totally agree about your sentiments on it having to announce everything out loud when you’re changing modes! It gets kinda annoying. I wish Edifier can iterate this soon.
This actually the second review that I have watched for these and for price and value definitely I will be getting these and be upgrades to the ones I have now !!!
You said you don't like to adjust them through the app but there is a one thing that if you eq Edifiers, they save the eq to their memory and even if you use it on a different device even on a computer, It sound just like how you adjusted them even without the app. So it is only a 1 time thing to adjust the headphones. The thing about the proccessed sound you mentinon, I thing this headphoens are the least proccessed sounding headphones other than bose and sony's flagships. Thats why I choosed them over soundcores or sonys 720n thanks to some youtubers sharing sound samples of all of those headphones. Good review anyways :)
last time i bought edifier w820nb plus,i was disappointed because of the volume,it was quite low compared to same priced headphones like anker soundcore life q20+,now i'm planning to buy the edifier w950nb,does this headphone has the same "low volume" issue like edifier w820nb plus??
Nice review. Not sure what happened to a great sound out of the box? Most of these budget phones need an EQ app to sound great. I guess this is the new trend low price with a EQ to match or compete. Thank you!!
Sound is subjective so I mean no matter how a company tunes their stuff not everyone will be happy. That's the point of an eq. Pretty obvious to be honest.
These sound better than Sony 1000xm5 when they are both not tuned in the app. You can check sound samples. One of the most flat good sounding headphones without the tuning in the market I can say. When you tune them in eq, they get better and you don't need the app after you tune them it is only a 1 time thing to do. You can use them with the same tuning in a different device even without the app eq after you tuned them once. Even without the tuning they sound crisp detailed and exciting with some punchy bass even better than Sonys.
The product looks really good, but did Edifier change their app's privacy policy that asks for suspicious access that frankly has nothing to do with an audio product 🤔
Do not even think about NOT BUYING THESE HEADPHONES .. JUST GRAB A PAIR … this is my 3rd set of Edifier over the ear headphones and they have always been fantastic value for money and are robust and last … the build on these cans is simply 1st class and they hold there own and let’s mentioned when wired with a 3.5 to lightning or 3.5 Jack end they PUMP .. listen to ZZTOPS SHARPED DRESS MAN ON THESE WITH THE WIRE AND THEY ARE PLAYING IN ROOM LOUNGE AND ALSO DIRECTLY IN THE MIDDLE OF YOUR HEAD … EDIEFIER = EARGASMS

I had a really bad experience with soundcore. My space tune which is the eu version of the q30 started breaking on the side to the point where the cables where showing. Do you think it can happen to those too? My opinion on to why this happen is due to to much clamping force on my unit and I suit quite a lote
@@mr.enclave.member It goes max 92 db while sonys go 102 and man there is no way you can listen at 102 so it is plenty enough not the loudest but plenty enough.
How is the sound with wired? Wondering if the audio signature is the same on Bluetooth as with a Wire, like the Bose QC35 II... I want them for Gaming (With a mic/headphone cable)...
Wired mode have two scenario: You leave the Bluetooth mode on (the headphone still On and using its battery) : more vocal. You turn the headphone off: more bass. Fit for bass-head.

No matter how many different types of ANC headphones come out when it comes to sound quality especially in loudness and bass.. especially if you are a bass head like me when I listen to them it makes me imagine that I'm at the legendary paradise garage no joke.. no brand can beat Bose that's why they are so damn expensive but they are worth it.. it would be better to get them when it's on sale the only thing that I would love to see is the increase in the battery life on ANC mode.. they probably will when they release the next generation Bose headphones 1 thing that's not mentioned in any review on any ANC headphones is that the battery life no matter how long it is it's only when you listen to music on mid level volume I'm surprised it's never mentioned which makes sense that the louder you put up the volume the more power is taken up from the battery so for me it would be half of the total hours because I always listen to my garage music on full volume but not for hours and another thing that everyone should be aware of that once the battery goes dead meaning that it could no longer recharged any more you have to throw away the headphones because the battery can't be replaced you can purchase the battery from Amazon but as far as doing the work of taking out the old battery and putting in the new 1 in is too extremely hard no joke I tried it it's like performing brain surgery you need extreme magnification and an extra pair of hands 1 pair of hands to hold the soldering gun and the soldering wire and the other one to hold down the wires 1 person can not do all this and the extreme magnification to look at the circuit board no way anyone can view it even wearing bifocals no lie it could only be done by a qualified audio technician but they are extremely hard to find believe me I tried with no success due to its not in high demand like replacing cell phone batteries so for all the people that pocess any type of ANC headphones be aware of this please

I've bought one just few days back and there's no review yet for this product, was surprised for the quality that it gives for the price!
Glad you like it! Where were you able to get them from as I don't think they're available in the US market just yet.
How much?
Does the dual-connection feature works for you? I bought one and I can't connect to two devices without having to unpair one of them.
@@natassiatavares4568 That's odd. Seems to work fine for me

Apparently not.. Its a shame more reviewers don't mention this... Not worth buying these given dodgy app

Does the mic on WH950NB work while aux cable is attached?

Hi do these sound okay on iphone or apple devices? I read it doesnt support AAC, so Im not sure if that means i wont be getting the most out of this
I honestly doubt most people can tell the difference between the two so you should be alright.
It only works with android, but if you want improve sound you can use a DAC dongle and cable
are these worth to buy if i'm gonna use them with an old phone?
I am looking for decent ANC headphone to use with my PC. Will this work well with computer? How to change equalizer or ANC mode on PC?
These are more than decent ANC headphones but I think you are only able to change the EQ using the app on your phone.
good morning, this headset can work correctly, and with the ANC active when is connected by the cable? Thanks! I
No bruh its not
This is the only review in entire UA-cam of this headphones! Is it loud enough?
Yes, it gets loud enough. With the excellent seal and sound quality I find that around 60-70% of the volume is adequate for me.
Some say it's not loud enough. Could you install a volume booster for just a sec and see if it works while also using the edifier app please?
