Hey yo I wouldn’t buy these quite yet. JBL has a new series that’s the club series that I installed into my 93 Bronco Eddie Bauer. They are an extremely good deal and leaves loads of room for upgrades later on like an new head unit or solid amp and it’s doing great so far. Had them for about a month now. They are doing great and the Club series also has the rear speakers which sound amazing compared to the original speakers. Hope y’all have a great day!
@@5StarGarage yeah but rob meant how do you know that you attached the adapter from the old speaker in the same orientation as the old speaker. If you would’ve flipped the connection when bending/soldering, it wouldn’t have worked. But I guess that you did it all right because they obviously do work.
@@prestontreadway5536 The speaker would be 180 out or in phase. It would still work, but the bass would try to pull and not push for example. I appreciate all of the fine details and involved work at trying to keep the stock plug, though it may nave been easier to just crimp some new connections. But you have to work with what you have so... Good Work!i!i!
Do 6 1/2 speaker fit in original 6in holes? I measured mine and they were 6in so didn't know if 6 1/2 would fit in original holes. Don't want to have to drill into door.
@@5StarGarage hey man I found your video trying to do research on a speaker swap I'm doing in my 1996 F800 crew cab does your back doors have speakers ? My f800 came without a radio but 2 front door speakers and I'm trying to decide what to do in the back
yes but now it doesn't seem loud. I might have got use to them. Also someone stole my cat from the truck so exhaust is super loud so that doesn't help.
A quality review honestly ima order myself a set thx man
Thank you! They really do get better the longer you have them.
I found some at the swapmeet in Los Angeles and installed them. They sound clean in my 2017 Nissan Sentra
This guy is very likeable. Good job man.
Thanks! Means a lot for the support!
That says alot coming from somebody named, "MyBallsHerFace"🤣

What model did you get? I just ordered 620f. I’m replacing Kenwood 1665s which I believe are blown. They rattle sometimes and sound tinny
Thanks bro! Helped a lot.
Your welcome!
Thank you for the video 💯
Pretty nice 👌
You know the speakers fire when he started nodding
They have got way better too with the break in.
Lmao I just installed one side cause started to snow here lol gotta wait for the lf tomorrow lol but did tested and sound really good
Stay warm. Glad it worked for you!
Is your truck a dually? I have that same color but in a dually and I'm close to DFW area
Not a dually.
I think I’ve accidentally broke about every clip on the connections on my truck
Haha
These trucks are old and all the clips and plastic are brittle
@@5StarGarage yep definitely
Lol! Same here!
Dude you really look and sound like a relative of Aaron Lewis from Staind
Do you know if the negative and postive lined up with the new speaker to the old connector
Just resolder the plug from the old speaker and everything is plug and play.

I dont think the back doors do. I think they are behind the seat.
@@5StarGarage I was thinking about that since mine is a "medium duty" they plugged that where the seat belt is on y'all's
What is the third terminal? I connected these to my truck and noticed there is positive and negative, but also a third contact spot in the middle..?
Not sure on the middle one. I just used the outer ones were the included clips would go.
@@5StarGarage ahh okay thanks very much
it could be a tap for a crossover
@@theford302 i was wondering that also
🔥👍👌💪💯
What size speakers are they?
6.5
Did the adapters come in the box?
did you find out?
will these fit in a 2000 ford f-350
Not sure. You would have to check what size your truck needs.
Are they loud
yes but now it doesn't seem loud. I might have got use to them. Also someone stole my cat from the truck so exhaust is super loud so that doesn't help.
What song is this?
Which one? The one I play in the car?
@@5StarGarage yes the one your testing the speaker
FYI you reversed the polarity 🤣
Haha 😂
