Whether that be defeating the ancient fuelweaver and earning the leader of the shadows Charlies favor, making it to the moon and defeating the lunar champion, uncovering the ruins of the ancients long before you, or killing toadstool if you want a pointless challenge. Dont starve has several worlds for players to explore as well such as The Gorge, The Forge, Hamlet, and Shipwrecked.
Most people when interacting with bees including myself savor in the short snack that comes known as honey which restores both a bit of hunger and health on its own. Though the usage of honey for quite a few ends almost exclusively there and after they have exterminated the local bee population. The question is, should you continue farming honey? Well Preserving the bees isn't really hard to do as all you need is 4 bees, a honeycomb and 2 boards to make a bee box Or you know, just dont kill all bees in existence...
(Not a single bee is ever missed)
As for whether or not you should, its really up to your own judgement. Typically most farms are going to be better than beeboxes, but it does infact preserve bees on your world, along with the fact that once You have the beeboxes down and a few flowers, they dont require any maintainence meaning you can have a free steady supply of honey for both crockpot meals and honey poultices in any season that isnt winter - Ігри
I really enjoy the passive nature of bee boxes. The slow spoilage time is also a plus
They can also help during hound waves
I find bee boxes to be a nice farm that you can just forget about and then get around 24 honey for the three bee boxes placed down, a lot of recipes that take honey are nice to have like taffy and honey ham, or even honey poultice if your honey somehow starts to rot since it lasts for around 20 days WITHOUT an ice box
Please don't forget that bees are actually infinite due to the exictance of bee box on pearl's island that can't be burned or destroyed
not to mention that you can deconstruct bee queens crown which gives you bees AND honeycomb
got a longterm world with 12 of these in an array, me and my buddy quite literally do not need to harvest food anymore
Their power is directly proportional to the length of time you expect to play that world
Combined with a couple of lureplants and you can easily farm Jelly Salad, one of the most sanity-dense dishes in the game! I love having it in my Wickerbottom world, since I need a lot of sanity restoration and I based far away from the deserts
goated commentary
I was about to say that xD
As a main Wickerbottom I always make a a bee box in early days
Honestly honey has some decent recipes, sure they are not the undeniable best, but the fact they are so simple to farm makes them worth it, especially for worm wood if you use honey poultices, or you could just have the Wendy main on your server kill the bees every time they respawn without killing the hives
OP treeguard guide when
Wanda actually really likes having bee farms around for Taffy production
If you kill all bees, they can be in tumbleweeds!
WHY IS THIS CHANNEL SO UNDERRATED
Can u teach us how to earn infinity stone in DS?
I used to use bee boxes as my main source of food so that I could just go ahead and do other stuff
It's worth it just I have them.
While honey might not be the best food source it's never a bad thing to have extra food.
It would be cool if bees interacted with crops.
bee boxes are op, low matinence, low spoilage, can be eaten raw for good stats, made into jelly salad for great sanity
I think honey is underrated not only for honey poultouces but just an easy stable sanity and HP food
Be a Wendy main, set Abi to passive, and hit a hive. Works well even in winter.
Most farms will produce more but Its not really about having more imo. its about having enough and basically any farm surpasses that "enough" threshold. Its about the convenience. Honey will never rot before you eat it, are easier to collect and dont require resources beyond just having flowers around it to keep it going forever.
I highly recommend bee boxes as your main food source in any decently long world.
Dude bees are better than most farms. Dude did a break down my the subject. The time to maintain a farm compared to just running around getting honey from bee boxes equaled much better quality and quantity of food.
Quality: debatable(it really depends on whether or not you have meat or leafy meat to mix it with)
Quantity: absolutely not
Most farms in the game with the exception of stuff like berry bushes and banana bushes will easily outpace beeboxes with food yield. Furthermore due to the honeycomb requirement, world's will have a beebox ceiling, preventing you from farming exponential amounts.
You can infinitely live off honey with a few bee boxes.
You can never run out of bees :
Get honey combes from bee queen
Get honey from beequeen
Get bees from either pearls island or from tumbleweeds
I always make bee boxes. Easy honey poultice and if youre playing Wortox and have at least one beehive nearby its easy infinite souls. Only problem is that bearger might have a problem with your base so youll have to move away before it spawns.
You can also make taffy which is a regenerative healing item
bee boxes will actually produce honey in winter, just at a ridiculously slow rate. it's something like 1 a day, but i think they have to be off screen.
it's ds bug
it is not relevant to dst
The first time i reached 100 days i also reached 300 days until i got bored and i just lived of a pig farm giving me gold with the king, farming wood for light and warm/cool and only eating honey and honey ham
Bee boxes are superior. If i took the time to make like 6 or more boxes i just carry like 40 or even 80 honey into caves or travelling out of base for a bit and am lazy to cook.
I use bee boxs alot so i can make himey nuggets, rhis is not because i think meatballs are bad but simply beautiful i am a wokdie which means honey nuggets are actually good for me
I weaved wanda 1st and one of my friends mains woody so im used to making honey farm for taffy and or honey nuggets also their just good food sources with honey ham healing and honey nuggets generally decent everything
Can’t stand bee boxes near base during spring they fly all over and I play wormwood so they always follow me everywhere and cause a nuisance
Jelly Salad
Do you play PVZ gw2 by chance? I would love to see gw2 videos as there aren’t many gw2 UA-camrs anymore😔
PvZ GW?
