Thanks, I consider myself a "perma-scrub" so it helps to have useful guidance that might help me be a productive member of a squad when I am able to play.
I bought this game a couple of weeks ago but finally got my 1st game in last night. Its a great game but I need to learn a few things to make the transition from BF1 to this game. I had a great time but felt I could have been a much better teammate. Awesome video... Thanks I catch part 2 soon. Oh yeah..I Subbed
This game is 100% team based. It really makes for a shit game if you have a bad squad lead. Like you will not win if you have bad leadership or a bunch of call of duty type players
Super helpful explanations. Had to come back and say thanks. I watched a few weeks ago. There's a lot of digital bodies in the ground thanks to this thing. Look forward to more!
Just wanted to say, i've been playing Post Scriptum for around 15 hours total, im a gamer with all kinds of experience in my backpack over the last 15 years, and i do rly enjoy all off your post scriptum vidoes, u cover some of the (imo) most important things, and trying to help ppl "play the right way" , which will give them and even the squad a better experience, i just hate when ppl go lonewolfing/soloing (understand me the right way) this isnt bf4 fast phase fps, where u just run and shoot. Just like u mentioned, tactics and communication is high prio! Do please continue in the same concept, u talk in a more calm speed, loud and clear, covering "everything" but arent making a mess of what your are saying and trying to explain! I learned alot from your videos and that made me a better player, even considering my experience with gaming overall, will be waiting for more vidoes! :) Keep up the good work! Regards from Sweden! :)
Thank you aswell, i know that it takes little to give some nice feedback, but does alot for the person receiving it! i've never commented on a video before, but felt i just had to :) Some general things aswell, keep going the same way, the humor and a mix of good playing, humoristic playing and tutorial covers a wide audiance. The editing aswell along with the more calmer/informative way your talking makes a great video in total, i started with the tutorial videos but enjoyed the gameplay ones aswell, as i said , great mixture of videos and great editing aswell! :)
Please note... you do NOT have that super Zoom in the game. Secondly, many people have their shadows and foliage settings on low. They can see you through bushes but you can't see them.... ever. When using smoke, your enemy will fire directly into that smoke, so after throwing it, flank to the left or right. Or.... dont give away your position and just use smoke when you can throw it ONTO your enemy's position, thereby blinding them. The smoke can also wound or even kill your enemy if they breathe enough of it. When using MG's dont bother going prone in fields. All you will see is blades of grass. Get to a high spot if possible but this game is mostly flat fields. Getting onto a roof is possible but you will be the target of choice as soon as you open fire. Keep moving to survive. For the rest...expect to die a lot without ever seeing who shot you. It can be frustrating but it's also a brilliant game.
My tip for medics: Don't do the "I'll heal you up as soon as I have revivied the other two guys"-thing a lot of people do, thinking they are being smart. One fully healed teammate is much more helpful than 3 freshly revived one shot kills and he can cover you better while you get the others up. He sees clearly, has less rifle sway and can take a grenade shrapnel or a shot to a non-vital body part without dropping dead. Plus, there's a significant chance you're gonna get shot trying to get up the rest, which would mean no healing up for any one of the injured. Finally, a fully healed up teammate has a much better chance of reviving the medic if he gets injured trying to get others up.
Thanks! FYI, I usually play the British as well, so you should know there is also currently a British light mortar role. I wont swear to it, but I believe the light mortar class got added a couple patches ago. Hopefully you get a chance to try it out.
I bought the game weeks ago but I couldn't even practice on the training servers: some retarded morons were shooting me instead of shooting the cardboard targets! Never returned since then. Is this issue fixed?
Ugh....I hate how games make sight pictures. Holding my own Enfield No4, that front sight needs to be at least twice as large in that rear aperture. Their focal length is either way off, or that rifle gains a foot or two when you use the sights. EDIT: I'm not trying to shit on the game. I'm probably going to end up getting it. The developers have clearly put a lot of thought into the game and it is absolutely fantastic to see everything hasn't turned into CoD or BF where literally every gun needs bling and optics. The above is just one of those things that gets me every time.
HAHAHA , good one with the paper on the screen, my wife would belive i am really crazy !: :))) great tutorial, need this one before playing properly. I have a question, how do you know which of you fallen kamarads are a medic ? how to distinquish that?
Keyboard set up is odd at times. To walk is W. To sprint is W plus another key that you have selected for sprint. Use the one left of W is best. You gotta press both keys at the same time to sprint.
I don't think the backlash against lone wolfing snipers is entirely justified. I constantly see lone wolf snipers racking up at least 40 and up to 100 Kills for less than 10 deaths per round. That can be deciding, as most battles are decided by ticket count, not the objectives, and often the gap between the teams is somewhere between 30 and 150 Tickets, which means that the sniper kills are responsible for a significant part of the advantage in tickets. Off course it is also be very effective (if not more effective) to stick with your squad, especially if you are the attacker and trying to win the game by taking all objectives rather than taking enough to have the time to drain the enemies tickets (the latter also being a legitimate strategy, in my opinion). However, I have made the experience that if you move with your squad, you rarely find a really good vantage position (as you are constantly moving around instead of blocking off choke points) and are often too close to the enemy, which makes its easier for a rifleman to kill you than the other way around (below 200 m the scope becomes more of an obstacle then a help when compared to a rifle with ironsights, because of the small field of view).
You're 100% correct. Snipers should be lone wolves. They also can provide a lot of information on the enemy movements, tank threats and where FOB and rallies could be situated. They are not front line troops.
pronounced phonetically “rockeeten-panzer-books-uh” and the O’s in ‘book’ are pronounced ‘ew’. Not trying to be rude, just thought you’d like to know. 😃 great video btw!
If you don't have a mic, don't join an armoured server, they made me feel like shit for not having one. They don't put it in the server name saying "mic only" or anything like that, they just tell you to "go away". The gameplay is fine, I guess, but my issue is that I die before I even see the enemy. I should've bought this game when I first heard of it, maybe then I'd have slightly better chances.
In an armoured vehicle even more than as a foot soldier your life expectancy depends on your ability and the ability of your crew to gather and share information quickly and accurately, so if a mic is recommended to play this game it is absolutely necessary when you're in a tank.
Keep low. Listen for where the fire is coming from and dont go that way. Flank left or right and sneak up on your enemy. Never run over open fields but use the bushlines on the edges and always use dead ground to advance if possible. Listen carefully to your SL for where to position yourself and ask if in doubt. This game is more about teamwork than going Rambo. The guy near you might shoot the enemy you didn't see and vice versa. After that it's often just luck to survive.
very professional video, the speed of your voice and the neutral accent is perfect.
I watched this before i put 300 hours into this game and the amount of times i was able to yeet a grenade into windows and mess dudes up is amazing.
Thanks, I consider myself a "perma-scrub" so it helps to have useful guidance that might help me be a productive member of a squad when I am able to play.
mortar is hugely underrated in my opinion

How was your first game? Did other players do lots of team work or is it another BF1 free for all? I'm wanting to switch to this game also.
949surferdude if you ever played red orchestra some mechanics are similar
This game is 100% team based. It really makes for a shit game if you have a bad squad lead. Like you will not win if you have bad leadership or a bunch of call of duty type players
Please keep this up dude, super useful
I did play this twice this week and prolly this one might help me a lot on using mortar

awesome video man, very helpful!
sharpshooter play with team is called marksman, snipers go on a 6 man team, take out important enemies and gather information for the team.
That mortar scale is smart! Making my own one today.
This is an absolutely awesome video. Thank you!

Great video. Informative and well produced, thank you.
Looking forward to playing my first match soon. Thanks Indy Rizz for the tips and tricks. Gotcha self another Sub.
Thanks for this video! Much useful info.
Nice vid, thank you, you improved the gameplay for all players teaching newbies like me :)
Very well done dude !

Great tutorial, thanks !
Very helpful, thank You very much!
Very nice video man!
Very informative tuto well done !
One small comment, you could have cut things short to down the video to 10min
Didn't know there was a mortar class as I always play as the Brits.
Looking forwards to part 2

Excellent mate thank you
Really nice, thanks for posting it to reddit. Woulfn't have found ya otherwise
matthew mcconaughey plays post scriptum?
very informative video thank you!
Nice tutorials man. I liked the grenade tip with the window but would this change depending on what FOV you're using?
Thanks for this. I just bought the game
I bought the game weeks ago but I couldn't even practice on the training servers: some retarded morons were shooting me instead of shooting the cardboard targets! Never returned since then. Is this issue fixed?
Dart Vader no anyone can shoot you at the range it is a bad mechanic but if it is a big problem for you then join an empty server
Great tutorial!
As you go over more than just a rifleman class you should change the title.

Why i cant sprint if i press shift

@@louisavondart9178 thanks for your reply. I deleted this game after a couple of days. Not my cup uof tea
@@thelazycat_ ..fair enough. It's been upgraded a lot over the last 2 months. You might find it better now.

David Parnell - the really sad thing is, is that I took 2 years of German in high school and I still butchered it that badly lol thanks man!
Indy Rizz No worries man! 😃. I would think that if you don't use it it's easy to get rusty!
