Holy shit, I was in that match! That "on a scale of 1 to 10, how Canadian are you?" discussion was great.

As of Sept 1, 2018, both rifles are fully loaded when a soldier spawns. This goes for ALL firearms. Even though the game mechanics show a reload the firearm is already fully loaded. This has been tested in both training and game servers. Also, the Enfield holds 10 rounds and the k98 hold 5 rounds. For partial reloads when only 1 or 2 rounds need are needed to top off the magazine, the k98 will reload using individual rounds and the Enfield will show full 5rd clip. Both rifles reload fully by using 5 rd strip clips. It takes the Enfield approximately 10 seconds to reload via 2-5 rounds clips and and the k98 takes approximately 7.25 seconds to reload via a single 5rd clip.
Another in game stat to consider: The Enfield bolt cycles in 1.5 seconds while the k98 cycles in 2.1 seconds. This is realistically rightfully so, the Enfield bolt throw is 3/4 in shorter and the striker is charged in the last 3/4 in of the bolt closing using the already present forward inertia to help speed it along. The k98 Mauser bolt throw is longer and it charges on the opening bolt throw requiring more effort to operate. The whole operation is "clunky" compared to the Enfield.
Oh, and the German G41 and G43 semi-auto rifles both have a 10 rd magazine and are reloaded using 5rd clips.
I own and shoot both the Enfield and k98, along with many other WWII rifles and handguns, on a regular basis. 'Murica!!! :)

The correct answer to "How Canadian are you out of 10" is "Aboot 7"

Very nice video Indy. Also, with helpful intent, FYI the rifle sight terminology is appropriate as...
'BLADE FORESIGHT' for the British Mk4 Lee Enfield.
'INVERTED V FORESIGHT' for the German Mauser.
Cheers & keep up the very helpful video Tutorials thanks.

Im not sure about the kar holding 7 rounds because when you relaoad one bullet is flying out and 2 are put in. So i think it holds 6 rounds. P.S. Great video

You sir, are absolutely correct. After going in game and checking after the latest patch (not sure if they changed it, or I just flat out had it wrong), the Lee Enfield now spawns in with 10 bullets loaded. Hitting reload immediately takes you to 11. The Kar spawns in with 5 bullets, and reloading immediately takes you to 6.

@@indyrizz7764 that is strange, because kar has controlled-feed system and can't hold 6 rounds

Very helpful information! Following your advice (incl. paper range ruler), I can now hit consistently at ~600m, where earlier I was struggling at 400m (as a sniper). Turning down my FOV to 90 (UW display@3440x1440) made all the difference.
I would like to know if you made changes to the default mouse settings in PS?
If so, what works for you? Especially, do you have 'mouse smoothing' enabled, and do you use 'zoom sensitivity scaling'?

Never heard it called a fin anywhere - we called it a blade or a post.

Matthew O'Shea did I say yards?!?! Damn it! I just KNEW I was gonna say yards at some point! UGH

There's less than a 10% distance so aside from long range mortars and artillery it's negligible. ;)
