What is the measured efficiency? What is the measured amps on the output compared to what it's set to? I've measured generally poor on both. It will be interesting to see if the lift TIG is really lift TIG. Every other YesWelder I've used that claimed lift TIG was actually scratch start. Their cables actually are a little higher quality than most of the budget welders but everything else has been about the same in my experience (that is, not great, misleading advertising).
@@_droid Thank you for supporting my channel These are some great questions. A friend has my amp clamp right now. As soon as I get it back I will do some testing. To see what the variance is between what the out put says and what you are actually getting. I know it will be off some because every welder I have tested has been off. From the cheapest to the ones to the ones that cost thousands they will all vary a little. That said I feel that it is comparable to the other welders I have used for instance I always run my 1/8” 7014 rods at about 130-150amps on my Lincoln, miller and prime weld that range is where they run the best. When running these rods on the Yes welder they performed the best at about 135 amps. This little welder truly ran really great. Surprising me at every turn. I mean I’m not selling off my Lincoln because I have it but that said I will definitely be using the YesWelder a lot. It welds so good and it so light that it only makes sense to keep it around and use it. I am like you and very interested in how the Tig welding side will work make sure to subscribe to the channel and stick around so we can see that this little machine is really capable of doing. There is a lot more videos to come on this welder.
