You got the vents the wrong way around! ... The side vents are intakes, and the rear vent is exhaust for waste heat from the CPU cooling system. EDIT: I didn't see you didn't secure the 2.5" drive with the four screws provided!
Beelink is great at producing these mini PCs..to me this is the first mini PC from them that has issues with 4k playback..I always look forward to see how android run on their hardware..😁😁😁👍👍👍.. another awesome video Nick .
Sorry but no, just look up the reviews on amazon, this thing last less than a year before it totally breaks. There's even a youtube video about this mini pc not working after two months of use
Dude I did not forget to put in the screws, I did not put in the screws because as soon I am done with it I have to remove the drive so what's the point? I am content creator not a long-term user So as soon I'm done with the video I have to reenter and remove the drive. Reassemble the bottom panel place it on the shelf or sell it to one of my friends or viewers. So if this makes me an unreliable source for information "four screws" , it shows that you are looking for kinks in my armor to criticize and not really interested in the value of the rest of my review.
Thxs Nick..Excellent video....love the added features your putting in.......I'm actually looking to find a Shield KIller...at $149 ,do you think it beats it? For the money ,I believe its a great value...but....that video performance hinders it....
I have a shield Killer I want to purchase, I don't want to jump the gun. Shield is still the best at updates to latest Android OS while others a stuck at one OS
One issue with what you said, you called this a Windows mini PC as though that is all it can do but it is just a mini PC that comes with Windows preinstalled but it will quite happily run Linux (which is better than Windows) and perform great.
OK understood. But I have to go with what Beelink is selling it as. Also they sponsored it for review so I can reclassify their product as they did not provide a Linux version as part of your purchase.
@@tvboxstop thank you for the reply. Was just pointing out that Linux will run awesomely on these mini PC's and outperform Windows significantly in everything. I don't hate Windows but I have no regrets about moving from them. my wife still has Windows on her laptop and I can quite easily access her machine over Samba so I have lost nothing, even when I was on Windows i used Libre office not MS office.
Yes you can. You first connect it using HDMI pass-through. To the on the mini-PC go to sound settings under advanced sound options change the speaker configuration from stereo to 5.1 or 7.1 speaker configuration. You can also log into your Microsoft account and install the "DTS Sound Unbound" application which will give you the DTS option under speaker configuration. You can also install "Dolby access". Simply setting the speaker configuration the 5.1 or 7.1 will activate Dolby on your AV receiver.
Yes it does audio over HDMI you also get surround sound audio such as Dolby Atmos and DTS audio when you connect it to a surround sound system under speaker configuration
There are lots of reasons that can be causing that. However this is an Intel Celeron CPU model which is a low-end Intel budget processor so you can't expect high-speed performance such as the Intel core i5 or the AMD Ryzen 5 models.
Hi Thanks for the video I see a lot of comments talk about Android, what dies that means? Can you do the sincrinization of our smart phone to this mini PC?
Just as Windows in an operating system, there are other operating systems you can install on your PC. For example there is a modified version of Android you can install call Android x86 that you can install separately from Windows without affecting your Windows installation whatsoever. When install you have Android running on Windows hardware which is overkill for the Android requirements. This allows you to enjoy high performance Android gaming. However it's always in development so there is always a bug here or there to contend with. There is another operating system that's more compatible than Android x86 and that is FydeOS that uses Chrome OS operating system that the operating system made by Google and can be found on chrome books. The good thing about FydeOS is that they included a sub Android operating system that allows you to run all Android apps and games. It's much more compatible the Android x86 and integrates into the PCs hardware especially its audio and video peripherals. All this may seem overwhelming to you and to help you further understand you can have a look at these following videos. tvboxstop.com/fydeos-tutorial-and-version-downloads/ ua-cam.com/video/OjCjfSrJbVQ/v-deo.html There are many different versions of Android x86 you can download and try out as they are constantly updating with new versions of Android the latest being Android 12 under the Bliss OS project. This is just a sample startup for you as this genre is vast with various operating systems and methods so it's not a one-size-fits-all and it can sometimes be very frustrating as bugs varies from mini-PC to mini-PC.
In the description of the video there are links to two tutorials one for Android x86, and one for FydeOS. The process for installing these two operating systems are basically the same. You just substituted the operating system for Ubuntu using an Ubuntu installation image or which ever Linux image you have.
@@tvboxstop .... Yes...that's what I did...but the language is installed in Chinese and not in English...and it can't be set in English...can you help me please?
@@XNicholasAFN I don't understand what's happening, because I am not getting Chinese when I installed it. I am also updated to the latest version. Like the look of this mini pc.Great review as always. Well done, keep up the great work.

That's because it's Intel Celeron, and Intel iCore. Thanks for watching.
I have this pc, it absolutely can play 4k, and without a problem. It can even play 4k60 HDR on UA-cam without dropping frames.

Can it's use for Solidworks and AutoCAD
It will install but I'm not sure how it will perform as am unfamiliar with the hardware requirements of AutoCAD
not being able to handle 4k video properly makes it unacceptable at this point in time....
Thanks for sharing
It can handle 4k, I don't know what this guy is on about but I have this and it works totally fine in 4k and when playing 4k HDR.
I wonder how this does with DAWs and other audio editing software 🤔
It's hard to say, I'm unfamiliar with the software, but you can look at the minimum requirements and compare it to the PC's specs
Single channel RAM makes this a no no for me. There is no hardware AV1 support on this processor.
Which puts it in the lower end category for budget users.
If I hook this mini pc to my Samsung Q800B 5.1 soundbar, will I get full 5.1 surround sound through the HDMI port? --- thanks

Do I need to buy a drive for this
It has its own M.2 SSD installed as system disk, and if you want expandable storage via SATA hard drive or SSD you have to purchase your own
Does this do audio over hdmi? Looking for a computer to do streaming from the general internet instead of being locked into the roku interface.

Thing runs very slow and I’m not sure why
