Just remember for modeling it isn't about being pretty but being photogenic, charm, allure and body shape, height, ...skin, eye clarity, hair...etc. Not something as simple as being pretty or not....

Sales manager story: Hopefully that OP is doing well. One thing I'll say as a manager, a lot of times the top tier sales personnel are god awful managers.
Got to double down on that. And if he's really the one that's doing the major selling in his division then it would be an aweful decision (from a managers perspective) to make him a manager since a) you dont know how its going to turn out and b) there's going to be a major drop in sales numbers.
Story 3: In his eyes, you don't campare to the mistress. He has shown that your feelings are invalid to him and he has 0 respect for you or your relationship.
Story 4: Do not let yourself become a punching bag for insecurity, if it ends up being that. Answer if you want, you habe the right to an opinion.

1st Story - Jesus, that company is the biggest loser for not promoting a stellar employee who can guide the rest of the team to produce stellar results. What on earth were they thinking ? I thought I heard wrongly. Maybe they always leave their brains at home when they go to the office.
Reality check: meritocracy is a myth. Few companies hire based on an applicant's merits. It's who you know that gets you the job.
The last story... IT'S A TRAP!!!

Story 3: That situation should be an immediate deal-breaker. He's essentially having a second affair with a deceased woman, just out in the open this time.
Story 4: The girlfriend is trouble. She's playing a game a month into the relationship.
Best way to answer the question in the last story is “yes she is pretty but nowhere as pretty as you are”
She asked if her friend is pretty. Even if he says "not as pretty as you", if she is insecure, the voice inside her head will say "so he was looking and comparing, which means he's probably lying". The best would be to say "I don't know, I wasn't looking at her that way, I came with you". But if the question was directly formulated as "who is prettier, my friend or me", say "you are prettier".
The last story: girlfriend is extremely insecure and there's no right answer to this. If you say yes, she will gaslight and manipulate herself into believing that you want to do her or if you say no she will be insistent that you're lying or then go on the defensive asking why you don't think her friend is beautiful. It's a lose-lose situation.
That's why I don't want to pursue a relationship with anyone outside of family. Any open-ended question that sets an emotional trap from an insecure woman is a red flag in my book.

For that mistress story: she brought it upon herself. she married the guy and chose to take him back even though he was actively shaggy her while they were trying to fix things. she's got nobody to blame but herself for her situation. To the guy in the last story, there is only one correct answer to that question "She's not as pretty as you." At that point you've acknowledged that the best friend is attractive while reassuring your woman that you only have eyes for her.
Last story, my mind be like: AAAAAAAAAAAAA-
I worked for a furniture company. One day the petty cash turned up $80 short. The only ones with access to petty cash are me, the sales manager, and one other sales associate. Before we had gotten a sales manager the other associate and I handled the petty cash for 6 months with no incident. The store manager pulled us into the office one by one and begged us not to have him watch the camera if the money was returned by 8 p.m. he wouldn't ask questions or watch the camera. Me and the girl got scared and offered the money to the manager. We would split it. He told us no that he knew who it was and if he didn't return it he would be forced to pull the video and fire him... Yup, the sales manager ruined his career over $80. Stupid must have been desperate to steal and not have it to pay it back on payday.
*Story 1:* Mrs. B is *so* screwed. Who does that sort of thing on work time? If he was single with no children, that's one thing. But c'mon! Really? That's a good way to ruin your career with a company, not to mention your reputation outside the company. Good for OP for calling Mrs. B out on her wrongdoing.

I don't know about the interesting but it was certainly was entertaining and funny
With story 2, I had a similar experience. I had to go to hospital several years ago as my gall bladder was about to rupture. They waited 3 days and it also got infected, making a simple 2 hour job into a complex 4 hour operation (and I still have the scars to prove it, despite being keyhole surgery). But what surprised me was two things. 1: that there were 3 surgeons, and 2: they were all female. Now, I didn't have any problems with them being female. But being an overweight guy being completely naked in a freezing room made me feel really self conscious. I know they're all professionals, but I really would of liked to have 1 male there to make me feel more comfortable. And as I still have the scars, which I was assure would fade but did not, it does make me question if they were fully trained to deal with the complexity of what should have been a simple operation as I was not informed of the issue until after the surgery. Please don't hate on me.
I hate how people talk to women in the technical field. I deal with fleet vehicles for a rental car company. One of the female branch managers brought a car to Dodge for a warranty issue. The wouldnt do anything. I go talk to them and they are willing to do the work. Then when the same female manager brings the car they refuse. She had to threaten to call me for them to take the car.

I think the reason he was not promoted to sales manager was his 170% success rate. If he would be the manager he would no longer do that many sales & they did not want to loose that. Well now they lost him anyway 🤷♀️

Write these story’s so here we go:my mom has a horrible mother and dad both abused her and her sister physically so she turned to a life of drugs skip a few years she’s been clean for as long as I have been alive (23 years) well her mother made a ridiculous lie when I was two and took me from my mom my grandfather s*xually so I have many times where it hurt when I pee so they sent me to my dads where he did the same thing as my grandfather and then I had cost times one weekend with my grandparents one weekend with my mom and the rest with my dad he didn’t feed me and when he did it was like chips luckily my older siblings so and they were old enough to make money (16) and they feed me I finally told my mom what they were doing to me and the war lasted till I was 11 years of therapy and trauma that could of been avoided if the judges and police did what they should’ve
I know I seen girls do just about anything you can you can imagine I seen females working as mechanics truck drivers police officers you name it and they're very good at their jobs
