    Route 66 in Arizona is one of my favorites for sure! However, for me, nothing beats Jerome! Such a fun, quirky town that is not quite as touristy as Sedona! Plus, the history there is crazy!

    • @MuhammadIamhardBrucelee

      Jerome is pretty nice and quirky town with a great location. There are lot of offbeat places like that in AZ.

      Damn we missed Jerome!! Will have to swing through next time we do Route 66

    • @MuhammadIamhardBrucelee
      @MuhammadIamhardBrucelee 5 років тому +2

      Well, Jerome is about 45-50 minutes away from Sedona on 89A and a picturesque place on a hill. You can actually loop through 89A into the mountains and it’s a beautiful drive and reminiscent of the old west towns.
      Did you guys stop at Williams? That is another cool place right near Route 66 on I-40. Williams is another old west type town and also the starting point for Grand Canyon Railway.

    • @laurakinney8538
      @laurakinney8538 5 років тому +1

    • @MuhammadIamhardBrucelee
      @MuhammadIamhardBrucelee 5 років тому +1

      Laura Kinney Yeah AZ has a lot of small towns that still have the old west feel to it. Terrible time to visit this time of the year though. Spring or Fall would be ideal.
      There are quite a few hidden ghost towns in AZ as well.

      They are cheap and usually on the highways and good place to crash for the night if you are on a road trip and feel tired. Very basic with bed and bathroom but will do the job if you want to crash and get out the next morning. Both Super 8 and Motel 6 are the quintessential motor hotels on US highways.

    • @ProjectResident
      @ProjectResident 5 років тому +1

      asdf asdf those are independently owned as the Wyndham enterprise sells the franchise like majority of large companies. So it all depends on the particular owner. The one I stayed in Hartford CN looked like a freaking rehab facility. Yet those rooms were pretty spacious.

    • @MuhammadIamhardBrucelee
      @MuhammadIamhardBrucelee 5 років тому +1

      Проект Резидент The ones on the highways are decent enough to sleep for the night and you can usually walk in and get a room. I’ve stayed at both Super 8 and Motel 6 on highway trips and you just pull over on the exit and walk up and can have a room for the night to rest and then get ready in the morning to hit the road again.
      Most of these hotels are franchises and they change names every few years . Could go from Super 8 to Ramada to Best Western to Days Inn to Red Roof Inn all within 15-20 years.

    Brilliant guys, you definitely captured it. I was just in that area a couple weeks ago myself. I went on a road trip from Oregon to Santa Fe and stopped in Sedona. One of the most underrated places in the world. It should really be a national park, but I'm glad it isn't so that you can explore more freely. What month were you there?

    I was waiting for the scene to develop at the start and when you pulled the helmets off for the boy to shout "its the Milky Bar Kids' :)
    Did you feel the power of the crystal in Sedona one wonders? Question did you have a drone moving in the shots where you were both photographed on your bikes from the front or another rider? Enjoyed the video, thank you.

    A cowboy rode into town and stopped at the saloon for a drink. Unfortunately, the locals always had a habit of picking on newcomers. When he finished, he found his horse had been stolen.
    He comes back into the bar, handily flips his gun into the air, catches it above his head without even looking and fires a shot into the ceiling. “Who stole my horse?” he yelled with surprising forcefulness.
    No one answered.
    “I’m gonna have another beer and if my horse ain’t back outside by the time I’m finished, I’m gonna do what I dun back in Texas and I don’t want to have to do what I dun back in Texas!”
    Some of the locals shifted restlessly.
    He had another beer, walked outside, and his horse was back! He saddled up and started to ride out of town.
    The bartender wandered out of the bar and asked, “Say partner, what happened in Texas?”
    The cowboy turned back and said, “I had to walk home!”

      I scanned down comments to see if anyone else asked. I figured that the one Brother was carrying bags for both. When i noticed they walked away from their bikes into the Super 8 without taking the bags off. As far as no windscreen that’s normal. I prefer the wind in my chest.
