Hi 2 lane and josh..! I’m 43 years young from Portsmouth England,I’ve finally plucked up the courage to buy a my first Harley and get myself “Down The Road”..! Without watching you guys getting out there and putting such good content on UA-cam showing the great history your amazing country has to offer I think it would still be a bit of a pipe dream to actually get off my backside and out there and start to see what my own country has to offer..I 👍🏻
Wow...incredible!! That's what we like to hear! That inspires us to keep doing what we do, and is the reason we started this whole thing in the first place. There's so much out there on the open road, and it's best seen on two wheels. It's an experience that can be hard to explain without experiencing it for yourself. We're excited to hear that, and wish you some great travels ahead Ride safe, and thanks for the support 👍🦅
2LaneLife is true Americana! Great job on the documentary of Route 66. Reminds me of why this country is so great and y’all do a great job of showing it.
Thanks Darrell!! We'd like to think so. It has been such an inspiring experience exploring these small towns and sharing the people and history within.🙌
Hey guys, I'm a 68 year old retired longhaul Trucker of almost 50 years of living on the road in the cab of an eighteen wheeler, over twenty of which was running team with my wife. We traveled a lot of "backroads" during this time in our lives and was always amazed by our beautiful country and had met lots of good people along the way. You guys really trip my memories of traveling through 48 states and a lot of Canada. I thank you for your wonderful videos of your travels and of the fine Americans that you meet along the way. Many safe miles to Y'all and hopefully, see you down the road.
How cool!! That's awesome to hear. Angel along with others truly paved the way for the survival or Route 66, so that we can all enjoy it to this day. We need more people like him. Thanks for watching, Marco 👍
Guys, u dont know how much i wait for u people to upload the videos!!!!!! I am just waiting every moment for ur videos!!!!!! Loved it!!!!!! Awesome!!!!! The video quality, the production, the content, the camera man, the friendship, the food, the road, all.
THAT'S WHAT WE LIKE TO HEAR!! Thanks for the support, DAM! We had a blast filming this one. Glad you're digging the new style and good times. See ya on the next one 🤙
Awesome! We did it last year from LA to Chicago and it was an incredible experience. What an amazing road to travel.. Thanks for watching, we hope you can make it back again soon 👍
Wow awesome video I’m from New York and rode Route 66 thru Williams and Seligman and didn’t know about all this history ,if I would have known I would have spent more time there . America needs more men like Angel who fought for what he believed in and now millions of bikers and non bikers have to enjoy .God bless that man and his lovely family
Thanks for watching, Louis! It's a great section of the route, and has tons of history throughout. Angel and others did so much to keep the route preserved so that we can all explore the deep history of these areas for generations to come👍
This is my first video of yours on the recommendation of my hubby, Psptommyg. Really enjoyed the history you shared!! We are planning on RT 66 in June so will definitely stop here when we roll through! Thank you 💜💜💜
Awesome!! Thanks for watching, Purple on Three! Always happy to hear about couples enjoying the show together. RT66 is an awesome journey, you'll have an awesome trip 👍
Thanks Big Oil!! We sure do. They have done so much to keep the Route preserved so we can enjoy it for miles to come. Digging the way the King is coming out for sure!!
Thanks for the support, Paul!! We've been trying some new things, and we're glad you're liking the end result! Pretty crazy to hear all of the history, and that was just from one family. We've ridden through so many of these towns on our way to somewhere else, not even considering what hidden history may be hanging out in places like this. We found it interesting as well. Who needs TV!! See ya down the road..
Thanks, Rich!! After traveling the whole route last year, and passing through countless towns like Seligman, we figured there was no better way to dive into the history than to return and capture these stories. What a time.. Thanks for watching 👍
Amazing video about Route 66. I can’t believe the government bypass this beautiful history and culture. Hopefully more people cherish the road with 2lane.
Thanks for watching, Sangjoon!! It is pretty crazy to think about the history behind it, and how the closure of a major US route effected towns like this all over the country. One thing we thought of though...if that didn't happen, would Route 66 have the magic and nostalgia today if it wasn't for that? Who knows.. Plenty more to come 👍
Hy, This was a very interesting interview with the Delgadillos. A lot of things i didn't know even though I have been there many times. Love this part f route 66. "Not the destination, the road is important. " Regards.
Hey Mike, glad you enjoyed the video and all of the history behind it. We've passed through there countless times and never really considered the history throughout. Thanks for watching!
Missouri in the house!! The 66 in Missouri was one of our favorite sections when we rode the whole route last year. The colors of the trees and sections of narrow road surrounded by foliage were incredible. Thanks for watching! 🤘
Until this trip, we've only stopped real quick on our way through to somewhere else, so it was cool to stay there for a day or two and check things out. Time to hit up the Road Kill Cafe! Thanks for watching, Jman 🤘
Hello dear friends 2lanelife, it's good that you continue to give us videos of your routes and adventures, a big hug and good routes always to all the brothers who like two wheels... Greetings from Chile
Thanks Hookdog! Tons more where that came from. We've got a few more episodes coming from this run, and will be going back out to cover more towns one by one. The whole experience was eye-opening. We've passed through so many of these towns without thinking much of it, but now that we've stopped to hear and capture these stories to share, we realize how much history there is out there! See ya on the next one 👍
Your videos keep me motivated even through our long northern winter. I can't wait to get out of the cage and back on two wheels. Thanks for the great content and for keeping the flame burning!
Ditto, we live in south eastern Idaho just below Yellowstone park and west of Jackson Hole Wy, long winters as well... Have a great 2022 when the snow melts!
It truly was, and there's a lot more where that came from. Her and her family's passion for Route 66 was unmistakeable, and we're happy to be able to share that 👍
This series is gonna be epic, I don’t know who does all the editing on your videos but whoever it does a fantastic job. Lance, I like the round hat better 👍. Getting back to the roots of America, love it! Ride safe guys
Thanks, @Limitedlyfestyle!! We're glad you're enjoying it so far. Josh does all of the editing for our videos. We're definitely liking this new style! Ride safe 👍🇺🇸
Hi guys, greetings from Brazil! I really love your content, I'm always up to date with it, makes me travel without leaving home, and inspire few of my own moto trips down here in my 2014 Fat Boy... My dream is to have this trip on the Historic Route 66, all the way down to LA. Pretty soon I'll be there and I'm already saving the tips for it!!! Thanks a lot and wish long live to you all and the channel, guys!
Thanks for your continued support, Adalberto!! We're glad to hear it has inspired some of your travels. We hope you can make it out to see Route 66 on two wheels for yourself. It sounds like you are getting closer and closer each day. Ride safe👍
Thanks Jeff!! Hope you enjoyed it. Figured we try something a little different for this series. We were due for a new intro as well, so hopefully it gets the point across 🤘
Thanks, Michael! We figured we'd try some new things and see how everyone likes some different content. We had a lot of fun capturing all of these stories this way, and definitely plan on more doc style videos in the future. Thanks for watching 👍
Wow what a great video guys. Yall really did an awesome job with this video. I can't wait ro see the rest of the series and one day ride down route 66 myself. Such great history you guys are sharing along with the people that are still there.
Thanks MrSpecter007!! We're happy to hear you enjoyed the video. Something a little different from our usual format, but we're liking how it turned out. Awesome to be able to hear and share these stories with everyone. Hope you can get out and see 66 soon 👍
Great video guys. Here in the UK today it has been incredibly mild (and dry) so I took my Kawasaki Voyager xii out for a ride. Great to get out on two wheels as it doesn't happen too often in the UK in January....keep up the good work....
Excellent content! Keep up the good work. Route 66 is one of my favorite motorcycle rides. Been as far east as Amarillo (from CA). Someday, I'd like to take it all the way out to Chicago.
Thank you!! Glad you enjoyed it, this was really cool to capture, and something a little different from our usual style. Route 66 sure has some awesome history. We covered the whole route last year and saw some awesome stuff, and are now revisiting individual towns to cover the history on the 2lanes. Plenty more to come, thanks for watching!

Ive always been intrigued with route 66 , been on parts of it before . Next year have plans to travel route 66 as a whole when iam 66 . Wont be on any time line , if it takes a few weeks that is cool because i plan on a lot of stops to take it all in Lord willing , and until than see ya done the road .
Same here! After riding the entire route last year, we decided to make it back and cover the history in depth, one town and story at a time. We took a week to cover the route, but you could easily take a month or more to see more neat stuff along the way. Pretty cool to do 66 at 66 too! Tons to see and learn out there.. See ya down the road
@@2LaneLife special wat i experienced was mr D,s ., that old 50,s diner we only saw on tv in happy days etc .. in holland .. and that great steam locomotive .. and the town called williams with its grill restaurant and bars .... Ive enjoyed every min of it .. Love to watch your tours .. in the west .. around the old anzazi terretory..
Agreed. She had so much to share, and the passion behind her stories definitely showed! Just shakin' hands with America, one road at a time. Thanks Shannon 👊🇺🇸
Haven't watched this video yet but I will soon as I watch videos & given that I'm a truck driver. I am mostly looking for a preview of the road and of the places to eat your videos come across very nice some of the others seem to want to concentrate on the rider & that is not what I'm looking for in a video. The last week of April I'll be taking vacation I plan to leave from Kansas City and go to Lyman Colorado and the next day go to Moab for 2 days then the Grand Canyon East then to Kingman for one night and to Vegas for two nights then ending my ride at Santa Monica Pier for one night.
Sounds like you've got some great miles ahead of you! We try to show all of the cool stuff in all of the towns that we travel through and stay in. We've got some cool videos from Moab as well. Did some off-roading, checked out Arches National Park, and all that good stuff. Hopefully you find some of it useful👍
Wanna say to the boys of 2 lanelife ..been there in okt 2017 .. doing a tour in the states from holland .angel gave our group of 5 a personal interview ..he was a very nice guy
My dad Bill Swan made a lot of iconic fiberglass statues which are placed along Route 66some of which can be seen in new short Amazon ebook for only 14.99 called "The man behind the mufflerman ".
Thank you for the video! Great history along Rt 66. I can’t wait to get my bike and my girl and ride that highway. Thanks again, see y’all down the road!
Thanks for watching, David!! Tons of history along Route 66, and we're happy to be able to capture it and share with everyone. Having ridden through places like this the past 10 years, it's interesting to stay there and learn about them! See ya down the road..
Oh I was just saying this because if you ever want to cross paths I don't know where you guys are in LA but I plan to store my bike in LA fly back to Kansas City where I work out of and fly back periodically for the next leg of my journey would be to ride up the coast ultimately seeing the redwood Forest and at some point come back through Colorado I want to get to Colorado Springs for Cliff dwellings and I want to see Santa Fe New Mexico so any pointers you have you seem to have excellent taste in the places you eat and stay
Cool cool! We are out in the San Fernando Valley. We're still updating it, but we have a blog section on our website that has maps, eats, stays, and info on all of our rides and the places we stay👍
this may sound crazy, did y'all see any help wanted signs? i would love to go back out west, but i would need a job, and i sure don't want a big city. some really small town on 66 would be perfect.
If we recall correctly, there were a few. It's a hard time right now for small business to find reliable hard working people. Maybe try giving a few spots from the video a call and seeing if they're looking👍

Hey Lance, I like the new hat. Like the old one too.
Thanks, Jeff 🦅
Nice job gentleman, still cold here in Wisconsin
Thanks, John!! Warmer days are coming, hang in there!
Mirna’s passion and pride turned a great story into an amazing story. I look forward to shaking her hand one day soon. Great job guys . 👀 U /:\
Agreed. She had so much to share, and the passion behind her stories definitely showed! Just shakin' hands with America, one road at a time. Thanks Shannon 👊🇺🇸
Next level stuff guys, simply amazing video! 😎👍🏼👍🏼 #gomotorcycling
Thanks Tango!!
Awesome!! Thanks for sharing, Menno! Sounds like you had a good time out there as well. We've heard nothing but great things about Angel 👍
My dad Bill Swan made a lot of iconic fiberglass statues which are placed along Route 66some of which can be seen in new short Amazon ebook for only 14.99 called "The man behind the mufflerman ".
Awesome to hear that!! I’m sure we saw many of them!! Thanks for sharing!
Nice
🙌
😎🏍💨💨💨💨💨💨💨👍🏻🇨🇦 interesting thanks
Thank you 👍👍
"Shake hands with America." what a great way to do it.
Shaking hands with America, one road at a time. So much history out there, and it's the best way to learn it 👍🇺🇸
this may sound crazy, did y'all see any help wanted signs? i would love to go back out west, but i would need a job, and i sure don't want a big city. some really small town on 66 would be perfect.
If we recall correctly, there were a few. It's a hard time right now for small business to find reliable hard working people. Maybe try giving a few spots from the video a call and seeing if they're looking👍
@@2LaneLife cool, thank you very much. safe travels.
They say "Don't drive the 405 around 4:05!"
Haha true that!! Find ya some 2Lanes!
