this was actually such a good video, helps reset the pace of all the commentary he has to do for his vids and really lets us enjoy just the relaxation and simplicity of van life. thanks again for another upload
I like your regular content but these silent vids bring a certain style to the channel. I love it so much, please continue this random way of content creation
The title says it all. Living alone, I spend a huge part of my day in silence or just talking to my 2 dogs. I always connect to family, friends or neighbors at some point, but I get your lifestyle. You’re a true introvert, as am I. Being comfortable with yourself is ok, maybe even a strength. Thanks, Ryan.
I love these more real and raw vanlife experiences. You did a similar video about a year ago which is how I found your channel, and that video was a huge influence in me deciding to buy a van.
I love these style videos. I hope you get positive feedback on these and continue doing them. They are mad calming and interesting AF. My first introduction to this channel was one of these you did maybe a year ago.
Great video as always my friend, I think you are likely my favorite youtuber. That being said, and I have said it in your comments before. You have got to get rid of those t-fal non stick pans. Not only are they already ruined but even new ones are not practical for your use. For instance, that fire was way too hot for teflon, it breaks it down and becomes what we now know as forever chemicals which cause cancer for you and everyone else as it gets into the water. The only use for nonstick is medium heat or lower and only use wood or silicone utensils, never metals which I have seen you do repeatedly. You need either cast iron, high carbon steel or aluminum. Cast or thick bottom aluminum for campfires, high carbon is safe but it will warp to be shaped a little like a wok. Don't get cancer my friend, I like you too much.
@@craftymulligar Lesser of two evils my friend. I live near the area where those pans are made, the instance of super rare cancer in children is astronomical near where the pans are made. Cancer in kids is one of my least favorite things. The more used the more kids will get cancer across the country (and adults likely), it's a never ending circle of cancer. Besides, Saint Donald Rumsfeld approved all of those fake sugars (last sentence was sarcasm).
I really like this one too. I like all your videos. This really shows people what you really go through, and as a truck driver in my past, I wished I could stop and enjoyed the views more. Thank you for your van life! I can live through you!
Only been watching for a couple months now brother but I must say this was a great video love the simplicity of it. Keep up the good work man. Nothing like coming home from a 12 hour shift and watching your vids man !!!
Everybody needs some quiet time for themselves. Being alone in a beautiful quiet desert is not lonely, it's a retreat! Like your video and inspire me to do the same thing after retire.
Ryan, this is incredible. I have been following you since 100k followers and its only.. i guess just some year later and you are looking strong with almost 380k followers at the time of writing. Pretty impressive story you have here my man. Stay at it and wish you luck on the Millionaire journey.
love this type of video. You immediately want to go back to the street and enjoy the peace and quiet. Since I work with mentally ill people, I just love going out into nature. where you can simply be by yourself. Greetings from Germany
You and a bunch of other UA-cam van lifers are encouraging me to build out my 03 Ford Expedition to camp/ full time live in. Thank you for the inspiration. I’m very excited to embark on a new chapter in my life and believe you me I seriously need a right now.
I really appreciate these types of videos. The first video I watched on your channel was a video with no talking. It's oddly satisfying and it definitely got me interested in your content and now I watch your videos regularly.
For future, In that foil do some olive oil, shrimp, andouille sausage, potatoes, corn and put old bay seasoning with lemon and little chunks of butter. Place over that fire and you got killer shrimp packs
Been watching your videos for about a week, daily. First video without your voice, I felt left out but somehow connected couple of minutes in. I admire your adventures.
Loved the format, looking forward to see them again in the future. No words, just.. Life. I wish I could be there and walk among the mountains seen afar. Also, I hope that steak had a bit of smoky flavor from the campfire 🤤
The happiness I didn't expect to feel seeing someone play video games and munching a ham and cheese sandwich with a dr pepper is amazing. I'm defo making myself one to tomorrow for lunch.
Here's a delish easy sauce for your roast potatoes. Equal parts sour cream, and mayo mixed together. Then a healthy amount of fresh or dried dill. So good!
I really enjoyed the changed up!!! I am from MD and just moved to the beaches in DE so I’m glad to be able to watch someone local travel :) but yes, the ASMR change up was nice! Maybe do it every now and again :)
So excited to see another video! Love this quiet “day in the life” type video of you. Really gave a major much needed reset in my life today. I’m 67 yr old from Barstow Ca, getting planning together for road trip with my service dog from SC to west coast. Got your recipes in my notebook!
I like all kinds of vids.....these are more like the real thing....and i apriciate the real....and not the "fake" vanlife isnt just good Times. Love you Brian. Smashed like button as usual 😊 ! Kind regards from Portugal
nice to see a different format, hope u can find the time to better your mindset and maybe get more active by hiking or something, rollerblading?? i just think sitting and driving to sit and game seems soul crushing
Love this video, I live here and I see how much I take for granted the weather and sunsets. Makes me want to get out and camp locally. Thank you.. Come back soon
As a counterpoint to your quote Ryan: Let me tell you this: if you meet a loner, no matter what they tell you, it's not because they enjoy solitude. It's because they have tried to blend into the world before, and people continue to disappoint them. (Jodi Picoult)
You should consider using less seasoning overall! It’s crazy to see the high amount you use each receipt, that’s something to think for your health. You’re clearly a great cook and using those high levels of butter and other overall powders is just worrisome. Besides that, keep up the good work, love your content!
I thought this style was very cool but I also enjoy your regular content, maybe if you did something like this once a week/month people would enjoy it a lot !!
A friendly little tip for you is to have a piece of wood beneath the wood you are chopping the shingles of. That way you machete/axe/knife won't accidentally hit the ground which can make the machete (in your case) dull from the rocks.
Gotta agree with majority and say this ain’t my type of video(I’ve been watching you since 12k subs) but I understand you eventually have to try new things and expand your audience!
Cool video man! I appreciate you showing us a day in the life. It would be cool to see some subtitles of why you do certain things in the van. For example, the thing at the start of your video on your bed. What was that? I'm assuming it was the switch for solar? It could be helpful for those who are building a van or just the curious viewers who aren't too familiar with van life.
You're awesome and I love these videos. I've been OBSESSED! Have you posted a video yet on how much this all costs? Seems like the gas alone would break the bank (certainly for me) and the food, etc.? Also, another random question...why no windows? Doesn't that make you totally claustrophobic? Final question (for the day), do you ever feel unsafe when overnight camping?
Ryan, I LOVE this kind of content. Your oratory skills are magnificent, your travel videos are amazing, and your cooking videos are outstanding, but I also like to see the reality of van life. ❤❤❤
You can be middle of a crowd and amongst friends... and still feel alone. Loneliness is not physical thing... it's a state of mind! And Loneliness is not the same as Solitude. Solitude is when your by yourself, chilling... being one with yourself or being one with nature. Is good for the soul and de-stressing! 💎✨👌
this was actually such a good video, helps reset the pace of all the commentary he has to do for his vids and really lets us enjoy just the relaxation and simplicity of van life. thanks again for another upload
I love that your van life actually includes the van and not just a random out the back door picture.
I like your regular content but these silent vids bring a certain style to the channel. I love it so much, please continue this random way of content creation

I hear ya, I’m an introvert as well. I’m very comfortable with myself thanks ✌🏼

So true !
ye keep beliving that xd
Freaking awesome 👏🏻 hell ya 😂🫶🏻
100 %
I hope he is alone sometimes; being alone is so fulfilling in the right doses. I cannot live if I am not alone at least 50% of the time.
I love these more real and raw vanlife experiences. You did a similar video about a year ago which is how I found your channel, and that video was a huge influence in me deciding to buy a van.
Ryan, great job showing the mundane life in a van. But it beats the heck out of 9 to 5.
Thanks
Amazing that someone would view this as mundane. There is like 0 axholes about to annoy him; he's in nature and its bliss. How that gotta be mundane?
I love these style videos. I hope you get positive feedback on these and continue doing them. They are mad calming and interesting AF. My first introduction to this channel was one of these you did maybe a year ago.
Excellent day in the life! Maybe my favorite one so far, and it separates you from the pack of all the other vanlifers. Keep it up!
Glad you are not in Cal now with all the rain. Hope your bro is ok! Love your videos.I'm 76 and live in a small town in the mid west.
I loved this video it was calming and peaceful to watch. Would love another one like this when your deep cleaning 🧹🧼 your van.

Man stfu you wrote a whole essay 😂
What you said nothing about the diet dr. Pepper. Cola and kidney problems. Could be a thing also.

KEEP DOING THESE TYPES OF VIDEOS THEY ARE MY FAVORITE!
I really like this one too. I like all your videos. This really shows people what you really go through, and as a truck driver in my past, I wished I could stop and enjoyed the views more. Thank you for your van life! I can live through you!
I like how quiet it is in there, even with all that traffic noise outside
This video was sick Ryan! Reminded me of your older videos from a few years ago. Really enjoyed it 👍
Only been watching for a couple months now brother but I must say this was a great video love the simplicity of it. Keep up the good work man. Nothing like coming home from a 12 hour shift and watching your vids man !!!
OMG! you are in Quartzsite, AZ at the Road Runner market. This is where all the snowbirds go.
This is my favorite video of yours ever! Awesome. Just you, the van, and the road.
Everybody needs some quiet time for themselves. Being alone in a beautiful quiet desert is not lonely, it's a retreat! Like your video and inspire me to do the same thing after retire.
I personally love this type of video. It shows the true aspect of being by yourself. Well done 👏
Living your best life! Looks so relaxing and free.
Ryan, this is incredible. I have been following you since 100k followers and its only.. i guess just some year later and you are looking strong with almost 380k followers at the time of writing. Pretty impressive story you have here my man. Stay at it and wish you luck on the Millionaire journey.
Love these SO MUCH. Always happy to see a "day in the life" video. A+
a few questions: how do you manage to stay warm in winter? and where do you shower/go to the bathroom?
love this type of video. You immediately want to go back to the street and enjoy the peace and quiet. Since I work with mentally ill people, I just love going out into nature. where you can simply be by yourself. Greetings from Germany

No words, just.. Life.

Loved this video! Relaxing to see your day.
Honestly, I love these style of videos
Where things are not super fancy. Where you are just living life as it comes.
Keep making them my dude. ♥️
I love watching this I’ve done this twice .. cross country tripping and love seeing these spots again.. I was a little riskier but tons of fun.
I super love this type of your videos. It's just simple, relaxing and therapeutic
Love this style of video. Thats why I originally subscribed to you. Love your ASMR videos
This was a really nice little contrast to the videos you usually make! Cool to see you trying out different new stuff!
Love this! The music is always soul-touching, the sun-shots and settings...wow!
Literally living your best life
I like when you chat with us cuz it shows your personality more and you are very personable.
The happiness I didn't expect to feel seeing someone play video games and munching a ham and cheese sandwich with a dr pepper is amazing. I'm defo making myself one to tomorrow for lunch.

Every time I watch your videos it makes me more happy to live and your just such an inspiration to me
Love these type of videos that shows the real side of van life.
Here's a delish easy sauce for your roast potatoes. Equal parts sour cream, and mayo mixed together. Then a healthy amount of fresh or dried dill. So good!
Always enjoy this kind of video! I enjoy the commentary as well but this showcases the solitude. ❤
I really enjoyed the changed up!!! I am from MD and just moved to the beaches in DE so I’m glad to be able to watch someone local travel :) but yes, the ASMR change up was nice! Maybe do it every now and again :)
Always enjoy your videos! That steak looked so tasty! Have a great rest of your week Ryan.
Actually looks like a really nice time. I don’t think I could do it full time like you but man respect to your life style
Love that you showed what true van life is…enjoyed the video…thanks for sharing 😊

Looks like someone bought the meta glasses. 😂 In all seriousness, this is one of your best videos to date! I like the fresh style!
I loved this style of video, nice change of pace
I really enjoyed this one Ryan. Looks awesome. Can’t wait to be doing the same in my own van.
Ryan, this video came at the perfect time. Thank you ❤
Man I’ve become addicted to these videos as of late! Love the content Ryan
“That view is stunning, doesnt get better than this”
I’m gonna do this in the next year or so it seems so enjoyable
nice to see a different format, hope u can find the time to better your mindset and maybe get more active by hiking or something, rollerblading?? i just think sitting and driving to sit and game seems soul crushing
It always feels like binge watching a Netflix documentary when watching Ryan's channel.
A very good Netflix documentary at that
Love this video, I live here and I see how much I take for granted the weather and sunsets. Makes me want to get out and camp locally. Thank you.. Come back soon
Enjoy these kinds of vids when you publish em, keep em comin every once in awhile
As a counterpoint to your quote Ryan: Let me tell you this: if you meet a loner, no matter what they tell you, it's not because they enjoy solitude. It's because they have tried to blend into the world before, and people continue to disappoint them. (Jodi Picoult)
I love this, greetings from the Netherlands.
Ryan thanks for the awesome content every week! Appreciate the awesome scenery and good food you share with us on this channel. Keep going my brother!
Absolutely loved this style, very relaxing👍
LOVE this one. Watching from my van, not much different for me except I brush my teeth at night, not the morning, and I eat soup, not steak.
Awesome video, absolutely love this style of video.

I needed this bro!! Such a W Content Creator.
I thought this style was very cool but I also enjoy your regular content, maybe if you did something like this once a week/month people would enjoy it a lot !!
that was a nice video. it's refreshing to see a day in the life with no dialogue. Different and great
A friendly little tip for you is to have a piece of wood beneath the wood you are chopping the shingles of. That way you machete/axe/knife won't accidentally hit the ground which can make the machete (in your case) dull from the rocks.
vanlife routine at its finest. This new Palworld game, everybody's playing it. Nice video, as always
I would love these every so often! It was vibey and real ❤ The ONLY thing you lost me on was the warm Dr. Pepper 😂
I really liked this video and I would like to see more! I subscribed 🤓
Nice chill video Ryan
Gotta agree with majority and say this ain’t my type of video(I’ve been watching you since 12k subs) but I understand you eventually have to try new things and expand your audience!
Ryan- have you looked into those peelable sticky mats to put in front of doors to trap dirt and sand etc. They work pretty well. Check them out.
You should get one of those rechargable LED lightbars to place under your sink for when you do dishes or just to have to have portable light.
Do you ever get spooked hear some crazy shit outside of your van at night park way out in the middle of nowhere?
Can't please everyone all of the time. I enjoyed this video. Always look forward to the cooking content. Thanks for keeping it real. Stay safe
Good Job. This video as well as others you have made, I enjoyed. Again, Good Job.
That meal looked yummmmy!
Cool video man! I appreciate you showing us a day in the life. It would be cool to see some subtitles of why you do certain things in the van. Bro... I keep forgetting the beauty of Arizona. ✨👍
This was pretty dope and I loved the bit where you included you talking to the boys on Xbox
You're awesome and I love these videos. I've been OBSESSED! Have you posted a video yet on how much this all costs? Love this style of video! Keep up the great work Ryan
Ryan, I LOVE this kind of content. Your oratory skills are magnificent, your travel videos are amazing, and your cooking videos are outstanding, but I also like to see the reality of van life. ❤❤❤
Love your work, I much prefer you talking to us. Love knowing your locations
Enjoyed this asmr switch up, keep it up!
Some captions for monologue would be a nice touch a well, just an idea
You can be middle of a crowd and amongst friends... and still feel alone.

And Loneliness is not the same as Solitude.
Solitude is when your by yourself, chilling... being one with yourself or being one with nature. Is good for the soul and de-stressing! 💎✨👌
This was soo relaxing to watch
Really enjoyed this asmr style video!
