great video! never seen anyone talk about running a cheap oil as a flush. Great tip, really saw how black it was. guessing most mechanics won't do this as standard..

Thanx mate 👍🏻 no it's an old fashioned way to flush and a bit more expensive,But ! It doesn't leave any unwanted chemicals in your motor like the modern engine flushes have, glad it helped. 😁

Thanx very much 👍🏻 what pipe is blocked? Iv done a few videos on the tt, and I'm also about to do a walk round of it with a full break down of all the modifications and tuning done.

@@thestanleysadventures8229 hi I'm I'm LIMP MODE due to several things but just seen ethos showing P0299 may be MAP also exhaust pressure sensor 1 I've changed my DPF sensor and sprayed put soot I'm thinking changing Pipe in the oil pump could also be BLOCKED so alot to consider lol

Soooo, those engines suffer from oil pump drive breaking ( you'd know it if it was gone) iv not heard of a blocked oil pump feed from the sump causing probs on that engine, they don't often have dpf probs unless not driven much, or not getting hot enough to cause a burn, I would turbo clean it, may have sticking vains, or check for air leaks on the little rubber hoses around the engine, iv done a couple of turbo cleaning videos if you look on my channel, hope that helps mate 👍🏻

What cheap oil did you flush it with ?

    • @thestanleysadventures8229

Just a cheaper branded 5/30 C3 oil from Ebay ( manol I think) I use castrol edge for the permanent oil, hope that helps mate, happy new year 🎉

Should new filter be prewet with new oil or I can fit it straight in dry?

Straight in dry mate but then put at least 3 and a half ltrs of oil in run it for a few mins to fill the filter then check your level.
