This is my favorite album so far!!! (I know I always say that everytime Mamamoo released new album lol) but for real tho, every song is so consistent with the emotion they want to bring in the album. It so chill that I put it on repeat every morning. I'm really glad that you guys like it, cause it so versatile and didnt follow the "popular" genre, so its nice to hear some aknowledgement about the music itself.
Mamamoo's albums have so many more meanings in them, it's just unbelievable how they do it. I mean, the season thing is an amazing concept. This album has the vibes of blue;s and fits perfectly with the vibe of autumn. Just like Red Moon and Yellow Flower. It's so interseting how everything fits together and how many meanings can be tied to the albums, their songs and their concepts; it can be interpreted in so many ways. Mamamoo is truly an amazing group.

I think this year they're weaving their unique timbres & colors into vocal tapestry as an artistic & storytelling strategy that's unlike anything else we've heard before. Loved it when Fiona compared No More Drama to galloping. Exactly my comment elsewhere. At times the galloping rhythms and vocal phrasing remind me of Klang's The Wanted. If you're not familiar with it then check it out, Fiona. It's more of a standard rock song but I think you'll like it. Btw, Klang has a terrific voice. Her duet with Seo Ji An on Think About is one of my fave ballads of the year. But that's off topic. Thanks for appreciating Mamamoo and Blue;S!

LET'S DO A QUICK RECAP ON THE ALBUMS - yellow flower was aMaZiNg. Starry Night was great, even though not incredible for me, and a little ouf of brand but WHATEVER this is 2018. All of the b side tracks were pure magic i mean girl moon wind flower sun is wonderful, rude boy is so witty and cheeky, spring fever and be calm are my favorite track hands down. It was just very VERY good - after an amazing album like yellow flower, it was hard to stay on the same level and I think that's why i was disappointed with red mood. Egotistic was great too, i liked it a bit better than starry night (i would say tho that starry night is better on the long run). Midnight Summer Dream is quite good actually the vocals are AMAZING and i really like it overall. But i have to say rainy season is not my cup of tea like it's cute but a little unwerwhelming i didn't quite get the mood that i get on rainy days the song didn't quite move me at all. Sleep in the car is fun, but lacks compared to 1cm or aze gag. I mean after listening to it 6 times you get tired of it because at the end of the day it wasn't made to be listened to in the bus or on the road the purpose really was for it to be fun. Moonbyul's solo was great but since it was a single released beforehand I don't really think of it as part of the album. - BLUE;S is good. Like for real sis. But i have a bit of mixed feelings. Wind flower is amazing and i think it mixes perfectly the old and the current mamamoo. There is a retro side and a modern side and i think they blend very well (+ performance wise it's new and so cool) No more drama is cool, not incredible like song of the year shit but good (the choreo however gives me life). Hello felt a bit underwhelming. Like i know what she was going for and it was really nice to listen too but u know I expect from the group more heartbreaking tracks that really come from the heart because i feel like it's something that we still haven't got from them in their albums. Better Than I Thought is cool, not amazing too. Like, I have no comments because it is really not very memorable, original or whatever. Morning on the other hand is great, i really like it. Like Spring Fever i can't say why jut i really feel something when i listen to it. Now my problem is, their album formula gets a bit repetitive. The thing is, blue;s kinda looks like yellow flower and red moon too.Title track + r&b/modern track + calmer track + funny track is the formula we got for purple and red moon. Blue;s and yellow flower just have an intro and another calm song. I really love mamamoo, but I really expect something more. The thing is that with their title tracks they really try to bring something new to the table every time but i really feel like they can do MORE. Their covers on immortal songs are just so so good and that's why I'm a bit frustrated at times when it comes to ballad from them.
