Dear sir/ma'am, Siti has very unique background of how she develop the sound. Long story short,if u notice in her voice, she have dual tone, the bass and the high pitch, came out together at the same time.On top of that, she able to manipulate, amplified them with resonances. This kind of sound normally produce by birds/whales. For thousands of years, this kind of sound, as we know it, is the sound of the angels that were used to be closely living with our human world(as in Malaysia Indonesia at least, for that matter), Fm the review, i found out that both of you have very pitch perfect ears and deep soul appreciation level. Well done.

A lot of vocal coaches reacted to Dato Siti's song but I personally think this is a reaction with the most technical comments. You have beautifully explained the technical things, and for that, thank you!
That's how we like it. A honest review with educational explanation without being rude or bias. What I also like is that they react to many international songs around the world

She's a great singer indeed! With her efficient technique you just feel she can sing with the same consistency for hours! This is what technique does. And using dynamics, she's also getting the emotional impact without needing to belt heavily. Of course, this is stylistic, and some styles such as R&B, gospel and so on require heavier belting to achieve the "sound", but Siti's voice is beautiful to listen to. Great reaction guys. Always appreciate the honesty and sharing your thoughts and experience as trained singers. Her "uh" vowel is something else!
Yeah i'm totally agree with your opinion that she's not over doing it. the way she sings is not exaggerated. Just nice. Not over singing. That’s what makes her unique and attracts so many listeners and fans.
She is a living legend. Malaysia's number 1 singer without a doubt, and highly popular in Indonesia, Brunei and Singapore. Definitely one of Asia's best!
the 'ng' is part of our malay language. It's not just for tuning. :) Nevertheless, Siti is still an unrivaled singer in Malaysia. No one can sing as beautiful as she does.
She burst into the scene at 16 years old after winning a talent competition. She is legendary in the Malay-speaking music world. Her singing style is not modern but classical Malay style which is very elegant and gentle, with lots of nuances, those ornamentations you noticed. Siti popularized the old way of singing which have been neglected for years.
Thats her character! The character of her voice . Soft but powerfull.. she knows how to make the dynamics in every song she sings!! Thats a character of Melayu songs! "Cengkok"

Thanks to youtube and vocal coaches like you guys, we non singers are more educated and better informed. We now could observe vocalists more subjectively. That was then 26 year old Siti captivating audiences at the Royal Albert Hall in London in 2005.

this song was sang quite some years ago.... she is not a new singer, u guys shud checkout her songs all these year..... perhaps u would change ur opinion. she is the diva of Malaysia all these year for a reason.
The reason that I found your reaction is absolutely legit yet very informative compared to others, simply because you both did not understand the language, and her Melayu lenggok singing style I believe is kinda new to your ears. I honestly have been watching your reaction repetitively (all Siti Nurhaliza reaction), like so many many many many times already, I 100% feel the genuine connection listening her magical voice.
Siti Nurhaliza is that rare kind of singer that can sing well 24/7, like there have been several occassions where people passed the mic to her in events while she was sitting down in the audience and even then she sounded great as if she came prepared. She might not hit the highest or lowest notes but her instrument is one of the most gorgeous on this planet and it's super refined too.
Methinks too over-detail, over minutae analytics that it come across over-technicalky burdensome to listen ie noisy!. FGS! Make ur reaction more palatable and enjoyable to viewers not voice technically savvy.

She’s not some new singer though. She is a well respected singer of all time in Malaysia and a mother of 2. She’s in this industry since 1995.
For thousands of years, this kind of sound, as we know it, is the sound of the angels that were used to be closely living with our human world(as in Malaysia Indonesia at least, for that matter),

her voice is like a magical flute that scale in unfamiliar note and tune but fascinating to my ear. Great voice
First time hearing Siti. You guys point out so much. It’s great. Please react to another song by this marvelous singer.
Because of that too.. make me wanna appreciate my bahasa malay..😄

Bena kata kitak ya oww
Siti Nurhaliza is that rare kind of singer that can sing well 24/7, like there have been several occassions where people passed the mic to her in events while she was sitting down in the audience and even then she sounded great as if she came prepared. She might not hit the highest or lowest notes but her instrument is one of the most gorgeous on this planet and it's super refined too.
Both of u are so details. I'm nervous. Siti Nurhaliza is living legendary and a megadiva in Southeast Asia.
