New Resident Evil Game! (What can we expect?)

I only just recently crammed in RE2R, RE3R, RE7, and RE8 back to back, and I'd totally be fine if they continued Ethans story. He can still totally come back, and if it's not him, Mia or Rose are still totally options. I don't know, but the way that ppl are expecting main line cast members coming back - I feel like Capcom wants to try the RE6 formula again, but fix their mistakes from that game in RE9.

I think rather than being a three-game trend, it's more of Ethan Winters trend. Like 7 and 8 were both 1st person pov because the protagonist of both was Ethan. With the 3rd person POV, it's been Leon, Claire, Jill, and Chris. Plus, if they wanted to keep the three-game trend, they would've made RE2 remake fixed camera.

ugh i hate the first person aspect. i hope they go back to third person because that is what made RE a unique horror-action game

I liked both honestly, i wouldn’t mind if it was either of the two but since Ethan is out of the picture now it’ll probably be third person
