This is a HUGE Asian grocery haul from a recent shopping trip. I went to India Bazaar, 99 Ranch, and HMart to restock my pantry and try out now ingredients. I'll show you what I bought and my cooking plans for most of these items.

I didn't know about the olive crop failures. interesting! I live in a mecca for international grocery stores, and this makes me realize the good deals I could be getting. I asked for a particular Indian cookbook for Christmas this year because I LOVE the flavors but have flopped on making some of my favorite dishes myself so far. The deep fried veggies are phenomenal.

I love the Butler Soy Curls. I’ve even breaded and fried them to make mock fried chicken. It is the only meat based food that I miss as a vegetarian. I would love to see a video on you making pakora.

Since you like soy curls, i think you would like the soy chunks that i found! They have a similar texture. Worth a look if you have a store nearby that might have them 🙂
