I got a P0301 code and the dealer told me that it was a cylinder one misfire and 1 was closest to the pulleys. Watching your vid only two of your coils are marked. At first, I noticed the first one wasn't and figured when I saw the rest I'd just presume that was the missing number but since you don't have 1 or 4 I had to call the dealer or someone.
@@motorcarnutThat's what the dealer said too, but replacing that one didn't fix it so I took it in and it was actually the #3. I brought the old part up there and they put it back. It was $122 because they gave me bad advice plus a wasted afternoon as I'm way slower than a real mechanic. Mechanic said I'd done a good job pulling the intercooler and putting it back, no loose hoses or loose plugs over or under tight fittings - Thanks in part to your vid! I worked in my Dad's garage as a teen and continued on my Chevy's until I made a few bucks and went from Chevy's to Acuras.
This saved me such a headache. Thank you for making this clear and simple.
No problem, thanks for the feedback, much appreciated!
I needed to clean the intercooler fins too, I used electronics cleaner but what would you recommend? I don't have a fin comb that fits this thing.
Can you a mild degreaser like spray nine, 409 etc and water
Thank you for the video, explains everything.
No problem, thanks for commenting.
Straight to the point. Thank you 👍

Number one cylinder is on passenger side near the pulleys. I numbered the coils for the video but they have no numbers.

No problem glad you got it fixed. But #3 would of been a P0303
What would the cylinder locations for each spark plug. Just straight 1-4 or reverse or...??
Cylinder location? Not firing order?
Number one is near the timing cover where the belts followed by 2 3 4 in order.
Thank you much sir. Much appreciated.
