Using the exact same parts to change out my wife’s plugs and coils this weekend. Pretty easy job. Worst part is getting the intercooler back on both large hoses. Btw.. the anti cease lubricant suggestion was probably really for dielectric grease to put on the ignition coils. You put it inside the ignition coil female piece so the end of the spark plug doesn’t fuse to the coil at high temperatures.
Thank you so much for this tutorial. You saved me a bunch of time and money by doing this myself instead of forking over hundreds of dollars. Seriously, thank you SOO much. Sadly, I will be doing this whole process again since I could only afford 1 spark plug and coil. Cheers!
Both Honda and NGK don't recommend using antiseize on the threads of the spark plugs. The reason is that the antiseize will make you torque the spark plug in tighter than normal.
If you have a carfax history check it. I purchased used 09 RDX in 2019, I'm about to hit 100,000 miles and according to the carfax history plugs they have never been changed. Found a Angie's list article stating "copper tip plugs, which last 30,000 miles, and platinum and iridium tip plugs, which have a life expectancy of about 100,000 miles". So I purchased SILKR8A-S 1402 Iridium's and about to change mine @99,474.
Did not calibrate the spark plugs was told by my mechanic that usually they are fine when you order the correct plugs but it’s good to check them anyway

My 2010 Acura RDX gave a cylinder 1 misfire code error. Do you know if the 1st cylinder is the one farthest to the left?
How is the car running now (July 19) with the Delphi coil packs?
When you removed the air cooler, did you clean it out? and did any fluid leak out? Thanks for the video!
Thank you! The air cooler only cools the air so it doesn't have any coolant, therefore no fluid leaks.
how many miles should change the spark plugs. I bought mine used and now has 140k miles

how often. I got 165k and I dont know if the plugs have been replaced.
Most manufacturers recommend every 100k
Nice video buddy, one question. Did you calibrate the spark plugs?
Did not calibrate the spark plugs was told by my mechanic that usually they are fine when you order the correct plugs but it’s good to check them anyway
