This is a pretty thorough method. Was able to do this with the Ava-4 with a lot less filing. The biggest points are the post that blocks the perun from sitting properly. The raised screw post needs to be filed down slightly so the screw can be more flush. The little bevel in the perun is required to move the perun about 1/8" to the left. But that's it from what I witnessed. Bevel outside the gearbox for the selector plate is required. You don't have to put the safety lever back in if you don't want to. That's a realism feature, Perun will cut off when switched to safety. I totally understand why people would want to put it back. A perk of the optical sensor though. and the trigger mount is magnetic so it will stay in place while you put the pin back through the lower and function as it should. I also used one of the standard stickers and trimmed the over hanging black portion. If the obstructing post is filed relatively flat as well as the screw post, that should be ample room. Nothing wrong with taking the extra precaution but I wanted to share my experience! Great vid.
Oh hell, yeah I’m the first one. Hell, yeah he did a good job on my KWA. I’m very happy with the service and if you want your KWA to shoot fast too send it here.
A 55k motor would be a bad idea in any application. It's way too fast and will run really hot as it doesn't have much torque. It'll also run your batteries dead a lot faster. The most efficient combo I've run is 13:1 and a brushless 33k motor. Barely uses any battery capacity, and you get near instant trigger response and 32 to 36 rounds a second depending on the battery and spring being used.
Hello. I've done all as described. Sticker all fine. All sensors checked as shown. Full reset done and it's firing in full auto on semi but about 4 rounds, on full auto it's full auto until you release the trigger. When on semi trigger pulled I also can't spam the trigger, there's a wait then it ticks and I can fire again. Anybody had this issue? Please help.
I hope you’re able to respond before my event lol So I did all the mods listed, installed the sector gear and did a function test, the gear is sensed. Now after everything is reassembled, when I kick it on to semi I get a 5 shot burst green light then another shot along with a vibration. Every setting is correct and no matter what I do I don’t have any changes to the issue. Do you have any idea what my problem may be?
@@wyshtechairsoft funny thing, I started deep diving into it and mocking exactly what you did and the post you removed I didn’t remove that lol Removed it and what do you know everything worked. Silly me, oh well it’s a learning experience for sure. Your video is phenomenal and I can’t thank you enough!

Thank you for choosing Wyshtech as your builder! It was a fun project!
Excelente conteúdo ! Grande abraço ✌️😉
Thank you!
I have a random question. If u have a hire rpm motor would u want more gears like 18.1 or less like 13.1? What would handle a 55k rpm motor

Sounds like its either shimmed too tight, something is binding on the gears, bad gear/motor combo, motor is bad, battery isnt strong enough, etc.
Can the perun hybrid v2 fit inside a kwa rm4 sr10? (Uses an aeg 3 gearbox, not aeg 3+)
The AEG 3 will take more milling work. It would be easier to just swap the gearbox to a 3.0+ and follow the video.
Does this disable the “bolt catch” on an empty mag?
Yes.
@@wyshtechairsoft Do you think there is a way to retain that function?
@christopherdicamillo3693 I dont think since alot of cutting into the gearbox shell is required.
@@wyshtechairsoft Bummer, sure be cool if there was a way to
@christopherdicamillo3693 I dont know for sure but if I had said gun. Id look into it deeper to see if it really possible.

Its not detecting the sector gear somehow. Did you check the diagnostic light codes in the manual when it did this issue?

Was alcohol involved in this video 🤔 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Nah, just lots and lots of sugar from candy and coffee.
👏🥳
Perhaps just as good? Haha
