Serj has such a unique voice
He has his own albums with crazier vocals than this. He's prettt talented dude.
He looks like a Serj. As a kid, his voice always made them stand out. It made them sit high above many others.
Serj Voice is a MIx between a Beautifull Devil and a Powerfull Angel.
i always think about this part in the Brutal legend game with Jack Black when they go liberated the Headbangers from the slave pits
"What is this sound?"
"Its a Devil Singing"
"Its an Angel Screaming"
"Its the Sound of the Hammer of the Gods, Pounding on the Anvil of creation!"
"...Its Fuckin' Awesome dude!!!"
I love it
Like a cross between Les Claypool and Pavarotti in the best way possible
the kid is a representation of someones ego that is like a child and cares too much of materialistic things/not humble etc which is why he says "when you lose small mind, you free your life" and "when you free your eyes, eternal prize". the eternal prize being happiness. that is how i interpret the video.
So when the kid layed down, you could say the ego went to sleep and the person has realised that materialistic existence doesn't matter (?).
Works for me
I love that interpretation tbh its a good outlook on the song
Money f u c g money.
“Aerials in the sky. When you lose small mind you free your life”. I feel like that’s what you’re all about Shaq. An Open-minded brother willing to experience new things and freeing your life✊🏾
Exactly why i ONLY WATCH UR Reactions SHAQ 💯
The overall theme of the song is our mistaken views of ourselves as being individual and isolated from the rest - mankind and other lifeforms - and how we actually are a tiny part of something greater, from wich we come when we are born, and to wich we go when we die. It speaks of clinging to life and not accepting death, cause we see death as an ending, not as another step of existence. When we die, our matter is decomposed and is transfered to things like worms that feed on us, to the atmosphere in the form of gas, and to the ground and plants that feed on him. We are always moving through the cicle of existence, there is no stillness, only movement and transformation.
Jesse Strong facts! A beautiful way of putting it. 😁✌️
Happy new year!
Check out Inca philosophy, it's dualism. Old original American thinking in general. Vastly different from the European individualistic thinking. Even contrary I would say
Jesse Strong dayum coach... you just went in on some next level shit...
well put
That gave me shivers down my spine. You sir get the best explanation award on UA-cam.
System Of A Down - Toxicity
System Of A Down - Chop Suey
Serj Tankien - Left Of Center
^^ALL CLASSICS^^
Sad statue
Dreaming
Mind
know
Soil
Deer dance
Deer dance is one of the best songs on that album. Chop suey is one of the worst.
@@toastyoder4887 I don't think chop suey is their worst, I just think its very overrated
@@leonidasneves7972 but, we have music videos
@@szakan17 i know
But i prefer the other ones
you HAVE to react to B.Y.O.B. by them
That or Hypnotize. Dude SOAD will quickly become a favorite.
@@tydale2909 B.Y.O.B will make him speechless, I'm sure
He did byob but as he said in the intro it got blocked
He did that one. I think he should do hypnotize or lonely day
@@chefexcellence5155 Nope he didn't react to BYOB
He is talking about Toxicity/Chop Suey videos
As someone who grew up with punk/rock/metal and only got into hip-hop later in life, it's amazing to see someone genuinely enjoy discovering all these rock songs I know by heart.
Most of them I take for granted, and it makes me appreciate again how great and unique they are. Respect No Life Shaq
!
Suggestions:
The White Stripes - Ball and Biscuit Live In Mississippi
(Garage rock | You've *never* heard a guy handle a guitar like Jack White in this song, brace yourself)
King Gizzard - People-Vultures
(Rock / psychedelic | Straight from Australia with hints of a middle-eastern sound, awesome videoclip!)
Dimmu Borgir - Progenies of the Great Apocalypse
(Symphonic black metal | Classic song from a cult metal band)
Rammstein - Ich Will
(Industrial rock | Intense track from their best album)
Marilyn Manson - Coma White
(Rock | A ballad with a satanic twist)
Death From Above 1979 - Blood On Our Hands
(Rock | Insanely high energy)
The Mars Volta - Cicatriz ESP
(Progressive rock | A constantly evolving track of multiple blended genres)
Deftones - Knife Party
(Alternative rock | Dope lyrics for sure, these guys are unique)
Nine Inch Nails - March Of The Pigs
(Rock / industrial | More high energy!)
Lamb of God - Desolation
(Thrash metal | These guys mastered the genre and revived it)
Bleeding Through - Sister Charlatan
(Metalcore | Killer track from the unsung hero of Metal)
Right ! It's like I can find love for these songs all over again.
im waiting for someone to react to older punk/hardcore the stuff thrash was born from like DRI,DK,(80s) corrosion of conformity,MOD,misfits, circle jerks. those bands never get any credit when it comes to the evolution of metal music
Lamb of God thrash metal? Mastered the genre?? Huh???
@@scottgooding9935 Yeah "groove metal" could've been better here, but thrash isn't that far
This is a very well rounded list. Id add a swedish band in there, like slaughter of the soul by at the gates, and probably some non lyrical stuff, like jeff loomis' miles of machines or mercurial. All in all a great list
“Did he die? Did my guy die?” 😂😂😂
I laughed so hard when you said "well, 10 times outta 10 they gon' turn up" 🤣
Serj tankian lived in my old home town in New Zealand for years and nobody knew who he was he was just cruising through life. Till a massive event happen and he went on television for it but it was to late everyone was like ‘ well he’s a local now so nothing to see here’
How have these people not got you to react to Chop Suey!?
That was the first one he reacted to, but it got blocked *As he states in this video*
Sugar
He has
I loved System of the Down. They were one of my favorite bands. So unique imo
I live your channel and how you genuinely vibe to the music. 👀💕
"Why did my guy just lay down like that???"
You have to be the best react channel. I just found you.

Shaq, you HAVE to react to System of a Down's team up with Wu-Tang - Shame
Motorhead - Ace of spades
Who would win in a wrestling match between Lemmy and God!?

I named my dogs after this song. I have Ace and Spades!

YES!!!!
Shaq what a great throwback thanks
I love your excitement about music. Everyone needs a release and music is a healthy one.
React to:
Linkin Park
P.O.D.
or
Papa Roach-
I think you'll like the Rap-Rock/Rap-Metal genre.
Also, System of a Down with Wu-Tang Clan remixing "Shame on a N***a" was pretty good, albeit only about 2:30 long.
Forest by system of a down is pretty lit also
This.

I LOVE this song. So glad to see your reaction to this Shaq!! Welcome to the "Dark Side" Sweetie!! Keep making us rockers proud!!
Shaq, man i wish you would break down the lyrics in these the same way you Em....a lot of these songs are very deep and an amazing story...
Very true not seen a mention about how political s.o.a.d is
Coach time for Nightwish Ghost love score live Wacken great performance 👍
Por poet and the pendulum. Great show
Fantastic song
I want to see shaq's first floorgasm
Another great video . Love s.o.a.d . Best band ever . Cant wait for u to do more vids from them

They're tryna build a prison
The lyrics to that one are what sells it. Especially that one part in the middle, you just have to hear it.
Yes that or sugar
Goodmorning from southern California coach!
Happy New Year bro! :D
Cheers from Portugal! \m/
I’m over here watching all the Metal head Shaq videos while I’m waiting for Mumble Monday’s video !!! Dats Tuff!
Waiting on some Disturbed! Voices or Down with the Sickness
Nah, overplayed... Gimme some "Meaning of Life" reaction FTW!
borrrrinnnng
Phillip Kanealy sound of silence for sure!
Stricken...the night or divide
Gotta start him out slow. Can't just hit him with The Game or something. Although one of my personal favorites.
Yeah, that was Stone Cold's intro you were talking about. And I think the kid did die at the end after being used up by the industry. I look at the video as a metaphor to fame, with the "we lose ourselves but we find it all" line and the females on his arms and whatnot. Btw, how have you not done Jinjer's "Pisces (Live Session)" yet? It's a reactor's dream song!
I'm kind of thinking he means Chris Benoit's theme... whatever by Our Lady Peace...
I've been suggesting Jinjer - Pisces (Live Session) for the last 3 or 4 metal reactions. So far he is still in the kids end of the metal pool, can't wait until he hears the more extreme end and dives into the deep end of the pool...
@@stevennelson9888 Yeah that video is gonna make him lose his shit.
@@felipephillipo1519 definitely Chris Benoit
JohnBlonde Productions Yeah, it's called Glass Shatters iirc.
Holy Shit this was my suggestion for you thanks for reacting to it Keep it up
if you like aerials def do spiders by SOAD next
Loved this one u reaction at end had me rolling
You should do Cream - sunshine of your life, Eric Clapton is up there with Jimi Hendrix and this is clapton in 1969 Greatness!
Plus the drummer Ginger Baker. He was the original badass in Rock.
If you wanna do S.O.A.D do Sugar,Regulator,Old School Hollywood.
Not old school Hollywood lost in in Hollywood
Soad doesn't have a song named regulator. Possibly your thinking of cigaro?
@@cptstormblessed8247 yeap, hard to believe I've listend to them for like over 20 yrs now. I seen them in Atlanta with Limp Biscuit before they had a cd and handed out a cassette with only two songs on it. I seen TOOL bk in 93 I think it was and Rage Against the Machine at Lallapalooza and still have the cassette with 2 songs on it also. Them where the days. I've never bn good with remembering the names of songs though. I keep tellin him he needs to check out HED P.E.,they're good!
@zimbabwe yea so is the TOOL one but money couldn't replace the sentimental value they have.
Travis Stevens and kill rock and roll. It has two meanings to it, one slightly humorous and one kinda sad
Divide by disturbed. One of my favorite songs
One of the first metal bands I was exposed to when I was a kid through MTV.
Faith no more's Epic would be a good one for your channel...
Facts my guy!
yes!
Such a great, song amazing frontman as well!
The way you sung it sounded like the Chris Benoit theme song!
Keep making videos Shaq. Your reactions are real as fvck
Shaq you Crack me Up!! I Love When you get that blank Stare on your Face trying to decipher the Lyrics!! Love that you're Diverse in your music selection. Bro!!! You have to do Old Wu-Tang my Man!! Now that's Tough!!! Protect Ya Neck,Cream,Wu-Tang ain't nothing to Fuck with,Da Mystery of Chessboxin. C'mon MAN!!!
React to Stevie Ray Vaughn - Texas Flood - Live at Mocambo
La Pulga he could not handle Stevie Ray he would loose it
Shaq give the people what they want
@@froglick28 yea ik thats y I think it would be funny bc he always makes a good reaction especially if he's never heard Stevie ray
SRV was way ahead of his time! Not too sure as far as the truth to this story but I read somewhere that his first very concert ever SRV was getting nothing but boo’s from the crowd. He pushed through the hate and by the end of the concert nothing but cheering and love for the man. Ppl were still getting over the disco era when he started playing his faster tempo musical gold I guess is what I was told.
@@abranmartinez4619 you're not wrong and you're not right not his first concert but the one that got him noticed. People went to 'his' (a compilation of musicians but srv stole the show) concert to listen to some "soft jazz" according to Chris Layton (srv's drummer) but when srv and double trouble showed up everyone was shocked so see "loud" energetic Texas blues and nobody liked it bc it disturbed the soft quiet esk setting but needless to say by the end of the night everyone knew who srv was and wanted more of him.
"is he talking to a girl" boy I'm dyin🗿
We need more of this right here bois
Just seeing your system of a down iv been listening to all the hip hope rap especially eminem. But I love this music to! So glad I found this
Yo u wanna do a system of a down reaction u gotta do Toxicity
Would be cool if u reacted to GODSMACK I stand alone ..!
What up Shaq!? Awesome channel Bro'! 🤘
Love System of a Down; your reaction to the kid’s face is priceless lol
You have to react to "Old" by Machine Head
You would make my day if you did a reaction video to that song.
Shaq try Nirvana smells like teen spirit
I love System Of A Down. Best reaction bro.
The chills in the small breakdown. Still one of my favs
About the WWE guy, pretty sure you're talking about Chris Benoit.
🤪😂
Yeah o was thinking the exact same thing
A couple UK bands , oasis , blur, the verve , the Beatles, (Jake bugg)
This is dope, I love my Em and Hopsin but I'm a deathcore/metal head at heart. I grew up listening to this album🤙 This is the perfect band to ease you into metal. Before long you'll be jamming Thy Art Is Murder and Attila🤣
This is awesome. Proof he listens to his fans and gives the people what they want! You should do some punk rock next. You've delved into country and metal, punk rock is so raw and real. Try the band Off!- "Borrow and bomb" or any song by Rancid
You should do my a solid and react to System of a Down’s song/video “Boom” please🔥🔥💎💪🏽
You HAVE to do some Disturbed, either Ten Thousand Fists or Indestructible.
Yes indestructible!
Yes ten thousand fists is 🔥do it. Thatll really get you pumped up
Breh. Your a legit Metal fan. Love it
My Dude U HAVE TO do a reaction vid to Toxicity.. Ur killing it!! Love Ur expanding Ur game 🙌
Please react to some old Ministry!!!
I think u thinkin bout Chris Benoit from WWE in like '05
THATS WHAT I WAS THINKING TOO
I think it was glass shatters, the Steve Austin theme which was performed by disturbed
Stone Cold stole Razor Ramon's Intro, all drunk like!
@@MiniGraham22 I don't think that's true, look up Razor Ramon's intro
@@onlyjoinedtotroll just had a listen. Similar but it was definitely glass shatters by disturbed ua-cam.com/video/MwMp5OkYjd4/v-deo.html
Love the page. Hilarious. Keep it up with the metal fam. Do a review of the band All That Remains, any song.
The album, Toxicity, which this song is from is one of the greatest albums ever made
Pantera revolution is my name
Slayer Angel of death
React to Scream Aim Fire By Bullet For my Valentine
the song meaning is covered so well in that first line
life is a waterfall one in the river and one again after the fall
Such a different energy the rest of their stuff. SOAD is band that transcends genres.
Check out Halestorm - I Am The Fire
Still waiting on the devil in I by Slipknot
Devin&Peyton Vlogs he’s scared
BYOB was the first rock song I heard and it’s probably my favorite one of the best songs in my opinion
More SOAD please they have so much great artwork. Never a bad song with SOAD
Bro you have to listen to some killswitch engage
IRON MAIDEN - BRAVE NEW WORLD ....
Love your videos!! Wondering where your accent is from, I can’t figure out what city/state
I have a suggestion for a new reaction video for a two metal bands, "in This Moment" the song is called "Whore" & "Rush" song is Tom Sawyer" .. I'm loving the channel, especially all the Metal reactions. I've been sharing them on my Facebook. Keep up the Great Content!!
