I mainly was going to buy the 15 Max for the size of the screen then learned about the Log recording and all of the other camera features that I now tell people that I bought a camera with a good phone app. I know there are those who say buy a real camera but my BeastCage is always on my neck or shoulder sling daily ready to run and gun with a few lenses in a pouch. I also paid for the Academy months ago and picked up a few useful tips for my needs.

Nice stuff! Any tips on shooting in log with an nd filter (i got the polarpro vnd 3-5) in high light snowy mountains? I’m a beginner shooting in log and want to make the most of this unique opportunity. Any guidance on setting up the camera would be greatly appreciated

To shoot in log with an ND filter in snowy mountains, you need to enable ProRes Log mode on your iPhone, lower the exposure and use a cooler white balance in postproduction, use a tripod or a gimbal to stabilize your video, and edit your video with a color grade and contrast correction.
