I’m a graduate of your iPhone academy course and i want to say that you are an amazing teacher and photographer. I love watching your tutorials. I always learn something important and the techniques I learned from you I’m using with my DSLR. Thank you for your continued inspiration!
Thanks for this video it is very helpful. I like to take pics and videos with my phone and been trying to figure out how to take better photos and pictures. This video is going to make it a lot easier for me. This video was so helpful, keep them coming. I really enjoyed watching this.
I love your tutorials….I would just love to get down,or crouch, but I like many older people just cannot…the old arthritis and stiffness. Any suggestions. I have a camera stool…I can just about do it. So one of my cameras has a moveable screen which is my best solution for now. But that does not help me with my iPhone. Thanks
So recently i was at the beach too and saw a small mound of grass. I took my selfie stick. Worked it like a metal detector close to the ground and got some wonderful portrait shots from that low angle. Rest of the day i used the selfie stick to get amazing vantage points which i wouldn't regularly get if i was taking pictures like everyone else.
I think you are just a great composer of photos and regardless of Iphone your tips are transferable to any camera, love your photos and I learna lot about compisition

Emil is right handed. To hold your iPhone steady for sharp photos, follow these steps: 1. Place the iPhone on the palm of your non-dominant hand, using your little finger and thumb to support the sides, while the three middle fingers rest at the back of the iPhone for additional support. 2. Use your dominant hand to support the bottom of the iPhone, partially underneath your other hand. 3. Operate the camera and change settings using the thumb of your dominant hand. Bonus tip: Tuck your elbows in close to your body for an even steadier grip.
Thanks for your response. I tried the method Emil uses and I find it impractical and almost cumbersome? I watched many iphone tutorials and not a single person uses the upsidedown method even Apple don't show this in their videos?
I loved the fact that you didn't choose a fancy reference subject /item for demonstration. A stump of tree/church as a subject is simply connecting with common people.

Nice video, shooting with a wide camera out of axis always brings distortion in the scene so let's start to learn this at first.
This is how tutorial videos should be 👍
Really, I do have great learning time with your videos .
Kudos for your great work 🙌
I didn't just subscribe.. I became a fan... what simplicity, what clarity...should i say i got 'stumped'?

Are you left handed, please explain why you hold your phone the way you do, and how you access your shutter button?

good video! appreciate the work. but try to make your videos a little bit short
Thanks🙏
are you use iphone 11/12pro max??
We used an iPhone 11 PRO in this video.
Your are awesome 💝
The number of times I've heard the word stump after watching this video is more than me hearing it my entire life
Great video btw
Why do You have the lens at the bottom of the phone?
You'll be able to capture better low-angle shots and reflections with the lens positioned at the bottom. 😊
Amazing photos, and he still have the 11 pro
Imagine with the new ones
I loved the fact that you didn't choose a fancy reference subject /item for demonstration.
A stump of tree/church as a subject is simply connecting with common people.
Why would this only apply to iPhones? ;-)
Our courses are mainly focused on iPhones, but these tips definitely apply to other cameras too :)
Will you be able to elaborate more/make videos on shooting on a iPhone with a model instead of just objects?

That's all good, but my question is, will the next iPhone have the same fucking features??
Of course it will. It's an Apple product. Money for old rope!!
Lift it up with one hand and take the shot from bottom😢😊...
