I luv Nora and ivy and compo the r sadly missed and all them great actors ànd brilliant British comedy and I watch it
I liked the group of Compo, Foggy, and Clegg, along with Nora Batty, and Big Ivy. They made the Sunday evening something to see. Nora and Compo were a real partnership though, and it would not have worked without them.
Compo and Nora - the dynamic duo of grumpiness and hilarity. They were a reminder that you don't need fancy special effects or high-tech gadgets to create side-splitting comedy. Just a rusty old bike, a snarky neighbor, and a dash of eccentricity.

Me and my late Mother would watch this show all the time and I would kid her about her Nora Batty stockings. I live in the states in Ohio and we would watch it on PBS.

Rare as in to find it to purchase, took me a long time to find a decent vinyl copy to buy. They didn't release that many.
On the B-Side of the record The Main Theme Tune is on it with Bill Owen narrating over the song.

They don't make em like that anymore. Watched the series three times, and could watch it another three. The characters all seem like family. Yorkshire humour at its best.
