Good video thanks. I was talking about doing this 10 years ago and people laughed at me. I wanted to cover my sunroof and windshield. Now it’s a normal thing for super cars.
🎉 I'm glad you did a video on this product. When we purchased, our 2023 GMC sierra had our truck PPF with Kavacha by Ceramic Pro. At that time, the owner/installer advised us against a film for the windshield for the same reasons you mentioned. Will have to give our installer a call 📞 🎉
Interesting addition, Don, thanks! I wonder if this film can be used to minimize existing sand pits and a small rock chip. I have a 1990 535i BMW so there is a bit of that on the original windshield. Again, thanks! :)
Great video. I had a oncoming semi kick up a huge rock and destroy my windshield on my AT4. So for the second time, gotta replace the windshield. Talked to my local tint/ppf shop i go to about if there is such thing as a windshield film. They told me yes but they dont do it. So im gonna see if there is any shops in the Edmonton area that does this film type.
I have found it is the best protection I can get. It has already saved the glass a few times. Other than a slight distortion at some angles, I find that dust is a little more stubborn to wife off compared to glass. Compared to other films that I have seen first hand, this is the best one so far

I know the feeling. Besides 10 years ago the plastics weren't has uv tolerant.

If you ever move to Calgary you'll need it!
Hi, thank you for all your information in your video! I watched the video twice but i missed how much did you pay for it?
How is the flim holding up
Liked the video. Had a little chuckle when I saw the tumbleweed coming at you on the drive home
Great video! You going to do it to the GMC?
A friend put a similar product on his car, but he didn't like it because of the waviness you were concerned about. Glad you didn't encounter that!
I have a little still. It has only been a little over a day

How was it???

That Z06 looks slow!
Looks can be deceiving 😂
Is it Xpel???
It is the same idea as Xpel but not actually an XPEL branded product. This is made by UltraFit. This film is called Wincrest EVO
