Outstanding costume. Definitely hits all of the creepy and sexy buttons. The high cut in the leg gives it a more Elvira than Morticia look to me though.

I LOVE how you make your costumes more versatile! It´s soooo interesting to watch, I dont think I´ve ever learned so many hacks and tips I actually use from a youtube channel!
Also please don´t work too much or burn yourself out! Of course we love seeing new videos and it´s nice to hear that you´re not just suffering under the pressure and that it helps your creativity but you´re already working on so much stuff at the same time and we enjoy your content the most if you´re happy and healthy while producing it. So please dont hesitate to treat yourself to some rest from time to time, we´ll just look forward to the next video even more if the pause is longer
I was working on the Paramount lot back when the Addams Family movie was being shot. I saw both Raul Julia (sweetest man. RIP) & Angelica Houston. She was as beautiful in person in her Morticia Addams makeup, hair and costume as she appeared in film. Simply a breathtakingly beautiful woman. She was sweet and said hello, too.

*Debbie Downer soundboard effect* I’ve been binge rewatching all of your videos as I pack/throw things away/wait on endless phone holds because I’m about to be homeless in a week, and I’m trying to keep myself afloat and remind myself of the creativity and humor I hope to be able to access again. Seeing a new one pop up felt like some kind of dopamine spell.
Everything you do with his platform holds such immense power, wItH tHaT cOMeS rEsPonSibiLiTY- imo that responsibility is first and foremost to yourself. You are quite literally changing peoples lives by sharing your creative process and self on the internet with thousands of strangers. It usually gets to a point where it’s just not sustainable to keep going “yeah yeah I’m fine I can handle it”. Whenever it eventually feels like it’s your turn to rest and turn to *your* comfort watches, pls know you’ve already contributed more than most of us could ever repay!
I hope the setback in your life is only temporary. I know, unfortunately, from experience, how terrifying and soul-shattering homelessness can be. But if I survived - so will You . Housing growing increasingly expensive, this danger looms over way, way too many people who have worked their whole lives until they just weren't able to anymore.. The best of luck, internet stranger, never stop fighting.
Homelessness is very scary! I was fortunate enough to have family and friends to turn to during that time. I hope that this time smooths out in ways you don't expect. Hugs!
I grew up watching the original TV series reruns so that Morticia will always be my favorite I think, but I love your version here too! I also appreciate the choices you made in trying to make some modular elements to the costume that could be worn every day. I super enjoy watching people sew costumes but I don’t tend to wear costumes myself so it’s great to see something like your shirt that I actually could see myself making and wearing (but probably in a less sheer fabric).
I find it hilarious that now John Astin (Gomez) looks like uncle Fester.
I LOVE your videos but please make space for yourself and so you can have some down time. I wouldn’t want you to burn out.

Once upon a time I had a black wrap that had a pleated, flowy back. But was not shear. I wore it to rags almost.

The synthetic hair is literally just fine plastic fibers. Its basically like unraveling some polyester fabric.

Oh this is stunning! It feels strange to say it but I really love the hairy gauntlets. They just really tie the rest of the costume together and make it scream Morticia. Also, you’ve set me off and I need to go and watch the films again now.

I love dress, and Morticia Adams would wear it if she could grab it. The serger trick of the thread never worked for me, so I learned to thread it, and now it's easy as the breeze.
The top is fantastic! That's something I would buy in an instant if I found it in a shop. And the entire look is wonderfully beautiful in that weird but also stunning way that only Morticia can do.
Btw, Morticia Addams was my sexual awakening when I was a kid. I don't know how long it would have taken me to realize that I like women equally as much as men without her, but she sure sped up the process significantly! ;P

As a fellow Bayonetta fan, my condolences for not being able to make it in time, but please don't overwork yourself, that's never fun 😢 I'm not sure what was the problem with the shoes, but if you're trying to add the guns, I have an idea (haven't tried it yet tho): using Nintendo Switch rails -or any 3D printed similar version- to slide the guns into the shoes. If you ever try something similar, please let me know if it works, because my wallet is dry and that's the only reason I haven't done it yet 😭

Amazing!! Did you see the trick with wigs to keep them looking *awesome* and not tangling? Apparently if you brush through silicon spray it helps de-tangle and keep them looking their best! Haven't tried it tho so 🤷🏽♀️😅
Amazing, but still a little gross with the hair! 😄 I used to have hair to my thigh, so I was picked to be Morticia in a school concert! I was a huge Wednesday Addams fan, but was happy to be Morticia for the evening. My dress was a black satin fishtail gown probably from the 80s as we found it in an op shop! Brilliant fun!

Why wouldn't you wear hairy lace bracers to the store? haha It's great that you have such a wearable part of the outfit too though and I liked seeing it styled. It's always sad when you put so much effort into something and do not get to use it often but such a sheer shirt in black comes in handy.
