I made a corset... WITH HAIR │ Rapunzel dress

- After making the pink dress for the Rapunzel costume, I decided to make it special with something very fitting for a hairy Disney princess. The corset was sewn first and then all the braided hair was added. Is it a cosplay ? Is it fashion ? It’s weird (and a bit gross) and I love it.
The first part of this costume/cosplay, the pink organza Rapunzel dress

I'm surpised by how beautiful this turned out! Now you need to make a mash-up of this hair corset and the secret door wig! Braid the wig into the corset 🤔😂
I would be cool if you did a wig that was braided into the dress. Like the whole thing is Rapunzel’s hair. It would make it even more weirdly awesome.
This is absolutely amazing. My friend and I were just talking about using our hair for embroidery but THIS? Waaaaaaay cooler! No wonder Gaga copied you
Thank you ! Actually I have tried embroidering with my hair and it works, it is just more tricky than treads (and less pretty) You can also try using it like wool felting.
I've been saving my hair from my brush, for a couple of years too 😮 strange minds think alike. I absolutely love what you have done. I can't believe that you don't have more views for such an amazing project ♥
Thanks! Well I am slowly growing, one stupid project at the time.
@@HazarielAtelier no project is stupid! you learn something from each of them... like how hard it is on your wrist to have long hair!!
I've been saving my cats hair for several years in hopes of using theirs for a embroidery project. Have used some on one so I know it does work.
Women used to use their saved hair to make a hair rat, or basically a pad to give their style more volume. I think it was most common in the Edwardian and Victorian eras.
That turned out so beautifully!! Definitely splitting hairs lol!! But definitely a fun and whimsical dress!!
Thanks ! I am glad you enjoyed my pun 😊
Honestly, the hair corset fits Rapunzel's design really well. I love it!
I saw someone else mentioned that this was braiding hair in the comments. But one of the great things about it is that you can forego the elastics by either burning the ends with a lighter or by dipping the ends in boiling water to sort of mold the fibers together. Probably would also help it hold its shape in the corset as well.
The patience needed is incredible. Congrats!
Thanks !
this is so cool and clever i wish i could like it twice!!! i might use my own braiding hair to make something similar! LOVE IT
You can do it!
Just found your channel through Bernadette. so much fun!!!! I love the honesty at the end!❤️
You'd probably get along great with Rachel Maksy if you ever get the opportunity to meet in person. She likes creating weird and wacky costumes too just for the fun of it.
She's just awesome💖
Hair we are !
I wasn't sure about this one at the start, but WOW! The amount of work that went into this is astounding and it turned out AMAZING. Great job! ❤️
Thanks you words of wisdom !
you are crazy , i adore your projects, finally someone doing cool stuff, and well, with GOOD taste. great job
Findign this late... I love the corset and sleeves.
This is amazing! Super creative and turned out great!
Thank you, i love making silly things !
you should make some victorian hair jewelry with the hair
I'd love to see bayonetta in this!
Hot glue is one of the the loves of my life, too - although it can be a painful relationship. This turned out GREAT! I love how you made little hair diamonds (??) on the sleeves and skirt. Really well done.
This is so out there and so gorgeous. Definitely captured rapunzel vibes mixed with macrame. I did not expect it to move so well and look so delicate
Thank you ! I does move better than I thought, synthetic hair is pretty flexible after all.
what an adorable hairshirt!
thank you !
That is braiding hair and I think the long cheaper synthetic bundles normally tangle more. They keep them in braids or separated bundles for that reason. It's kinda mess and wastes a little but works well once in braids.
honestly, really like how the corest came out - the all over braid pattern is so pretty.
Haha, wow, a living Bayonetta! ❤️
You are really creative. 💝
Thank you !
The most hairodynamic dress ever ! 👌
Allez, bisou !
12points for this pun.
That looked like a TON of work!
My mind was blown when you sewed the neoprene together with a zigzag stitch and no overlap. I didn't know you could do that! I feel like that just opened up a whole new world of sewing.
On a side note: If you made something like this for a guy - like a tuxedo - would it be a hirsute?
This is the level of chaos I strive towards
😁🤩
been watching some of your videos and so far your project have been fabulous!!
love your style and presence!!
you deserve more views, thumbs up and comments!!
💗 Allie from Australia
It's so creepy, I love it!❤
Very cool. Definitely a Repunzel themed piece.
Looks like you had a hair raising experience out there barefoot in that place.
I was amazed at how easily you were able to make the corset. I have been watching a corset UA-cam channel for months finally deciding I would never be able to make one. Have to admit she didn't go through the motions as you in the assembly, which is the best way for me to learn. Thank you.
YOU GIVE ME CONFIDENCE TO USE MY SEWING MACHINE TO MAKE FANTASTIC COSTUMES FOR MYSELF USING SOME PATTERNS AND DRESSES I ALREADY HAVE TO UPGRADE!
it'd be really cool to see more of that pretty fairylike outfit that you made using the same fabric as the corset! It's so pretty!
This is actually really beautiful. I love it!
I really want to see this corset paired with jeans and a killer shoe. Just for fun 😊 amazing work! You're so skilled!
So unique!and it turned out really cool!💕💕
This unique creation reminds me of Macramé and seeing this craft woven unto a dress is great fun. Very interesting crafting idea indeed.
Fun. I think this is one of my favorites of yours. Great job….
That is amazing!
It's so satisfying to look at!
T'as complétement craquée lol. Mais c'est vraiment trop ouf!! Keep up!!
Merci !
Superbe.
Amazing! ❤️
It was an amazing and creative outfit, great job.
wow this is creative
First time coming across your channel - love your personality!
Superb
Thank you !
That’s so cool 😎
Love it 🥰🥰🥰
Love it
The end result is awesome !
Also the electrical tape on the boning is such a nice trick (well at least for the uncultured disaster that I am it is).
Des bisous de Nantes chère compatriote ❤️
:) Hair zeal is an anagram of your channel name!!! A good fit. Cheers for the video.
Ta vidéo m'a fait dire non à la drogue. Merci.
Je suis là pour aider.
love it
You sweet sweet little angel ! I adore you ❤️❤️
I don’t even like hair but I love this xx
Wow!
This also reminds me a bit of the rope-dress Yennefer wears in 'The Witcher'.
Well this was unique and interesting. I'm not sure how i feel about the concept but the execution was quite good. You're definitely looks way better than Gaga's. Really there is no comparison. Yours looks like the first couture examples you gave. Hers looked more like a bad party city rejected costume.
This is weird and cool and I feel like it would look gorgeous in leather
Me when I have any good ideas, “ah. They must have copied me 12 years ago.”
This is wonderful, did you say where you got the idea from ? I'm sorry but it's a bit hard to hear you at times at the beginning otherwise I can hear you perfectly.
A lot of work, but a great result! I was just wondering where all the flowers have gone? In the video where you made the dress there were a lot of flowers at the bottom.
Beyonetta would eat in this.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Amazing. 😢 your poor fingers 👋🏻🖖🏻🖐🏻🤚🏼✋🏻🤙🏻👋🏻🖖🏻🖐🏻🤚🏼✋🏻🤙🏻👍 so gorgeous!! 🧡💜🧡💜🧡💜🧡💜🧡💜🧡💜🧡💜🧡💜🧡💜🧡💜 I love your ideas!!!
Tu peux faire du feutre avec tes cheveux (ou de la sorcellerie, pkoi pas!)
❤👍
Moi au début de la vidéo : Cet accent me dit quelque chose 🤔
Ariel : Hi, this is Ariel from France.
Moi : Ahhhhhhh ! 😂
Exactement !
@@HazarielAtelier Je viens de découvrir tes vidéos et j’adore ! Continue comme ça 😁👍🏼 #frenchgirlpower
@@sapphirecloud7839 Merci beaucoup ! Go les frenchies
Please tell from where you bought the hair???
I could seriously see you putting these kinds of creations on eBay or better auction site & getting way more $ than you'd think you'd get but it might not be enough for all the hours you've put into their creations.
Bayonetta x Rapunzel
How do the bones not snap when you are wearing it?
It's corsetry boning made of steel. It won't snap unless you bend it with pliers. :)
Bayonetta
Is this what Rapunzel did when Eugene cut her hair
the title is misleading, sounds like you make a corset out of hair, not glued hair onto a corset,,..
The title is I made a corset...WITH hair, NOT I made a corset...OUT of hair 😉
What I wanna know is how you aren't a professional costume maker because dayum 😳
C'est joli, mais ça n'apporte rien que ce soit fait avec des "cheveux". Des tresses de passementerie auraient rendu la même chose, sans doute même mieux.
