Giving a sound check on the drums nothing crazy just seeing where it goes.
All drums have Remo CS clear heads.
They look and sound fantastic, thank you.
Richard Stewart Thank you Richard 😊👍🏼
That finish is PHENOMENAL!
Yes!! Gorgeous finish and drums. I regret selling them. Ugh
These look so pretty and sound so good! Thanks for posting and congratulations on such an amazing set of drums! Also, you play really well!
Thank you very much.
Great sound bro!
Hey thank you very much for your kind words. Much appreciated!! CHEERS!!!
Great drummer dude
Thank you!!
Nice brother! Sounds great, playing is great and I dig that finish
Thank you Jeff! This was a few years ago. This was the kit I mentioned I had sold and regretted it lol
@@christiancea6 understandable! I wasn't following the Session series when they put this color out. man... its nice! (not to rub it in, of course!!). But she's a looker, Clark! 😅
@@JeffWald haha tho I love my music city custom.. it’s all set up in its glory. I need to
Follow up with some videos. Thanks again Jeff
Thank you for this video. I think I’m gonna go ahead and pull the trigger on this kit
Michael Russo You’re very welcome!! I bought this kit New in January it has about 75 shows on it I’ve put put it through the ringer ( 20 12 14) configuration. So I’m completely happy with them. You won’t be disappointed.
Christian Cea 6 I’ve been torn between the white pearl and this finish and I think this is the one man. And the sound through this video has shown me all I needed to see
Michael Russo That’s awesome Im glad I could help. I love the white wrap finish as well. I’ll be honest I have a reference series kit which I love but why spend thousands when there is so much bang for the buck on these kits. You can’t go wrong my friend. Cheers!!
Christian Cea 6 that kick is small and that’s my only kinda concern. I’m assuming it sounds great live so I’m sure I’ll be just fine
Michael Russo Dont let the 20 inch kick fool you. I’ve played small venues 1200-3000 people and it was booming. It’s plenty trust me 😊
Dude, these sound amazing!!!!!! I'm sold one these drums; I love the Antique Crimson Burst finish. And I guess that the Remo Controlled Sound heads makes the drums sound better?
Thank you! Definitely lots of bang for the buck with these drums. CS dot heads I personally love the focused sound I received from them. Worth every penny
@@christiancea6 I've always sworn by Remo Pinstripes on my toms! I've never had a problem with them. But I might try those one day. I just landed on your video talking about the Pearl Session Studio Select, and your review is great. Me personally, I too love the look of the mahogany plies on the inside; they make the overall look of those drums great, and as you said, features on them are way better than other top-of-the-line sets from other brands. Thanks a lot!
@@darkknightk You’re welcome! Happy drumming. If you go the route of the CS dots, keep me posted
@@christiancea6 will do. I'll follow you on UA-cam if you don't mind.
@@darkknightk I appreciate it. Thank you
The dream
Ivan Bajović Yeah buddy!! :)
Really liking this kit!! I'm very much considering one of these in gloss natural birch (10 12 14 16 22, really like the offered sizes, especially the slightly shallower kick drums). Just curious, what made you go with the 20 inch kick over the 22?
Cool vid! For my kit sss i replaced all the lugs for reference pure stl lugs, rims for fatones hoops, tom holders for aluminium ones... idk if it sound better but still sounds very good hahah
MicV321 Thanks for commenting. I bet those lugs look awesome. No question about it them upgrades will change and open the drum up for sure. I’d like to see what that actually looks like. Have a great day. Cheers!
@@christiancea6 yea to bad cant upload picture here... i will try to make a video soon. Good day man!
images.app.goo.gl/JCCWiCThS6GqVXWV9 looks like that but with the sss logo
Nice demo and killer skills. This vid was the gateway to your other videos.
Stoked just got my kit in, thanks to this video! I got this exact kit configuration and added the 13”.
Your set up is so ergonomic are you using adp adapters for the toms, if so are they 20s or 30s? Currently, I am using adp 30 on left on bc1030 boom for 8” and 10” and 2 adp 20s on bc2030 for 12” and 13”.
Randy Sanchez thank you so much I appreciate your kindness. I recently sold all my pearl gear back in January. This kit was sold as well. Definitely miss it but I needed everything I had to purchase my new DW collectors. But yes I was using all them adapters for that kit
Christian: Thanks for the great sound demo. From your playing and tuning of the Session Studio Select and Masters Maple Complete, which do you think would tune up for jazz/bebop the best?
dogmart You’re very welcome!! I personally believe everyone has their own taste and desires but Im going say the Session Studio. They have such a warm tone and very full sounding drums. I truly believe that in those applications the Session Studio would give you what your looking for.
Hi, I have the same drum heads, on a Tama Birch/Bubinga. Having trouble tuning them and making making them sound like yours lol…
Do you tune them tight ? Resonant head tighter or looser ?
Thx
Hey there! I tune the batter heads higher and the resonant heads a little lower. The idea behind this is Bc that’s where the microphones are and it’s the optimal point IMO for the best sound. The CS dots are best for that focus sound. I hope that helps. Happy playing!
@@christiancea6 thx
@@Maxxzinno you’re welcome
I have the same Tama kit use pinstripes or Evans ec2 clear tune the reso higher
Do you prefer 20” or 22” kicks for rock music?
20” all the way
Odlično zvuči bubanj pjeva
