I bought the Beats Solo Buds and I like them. At $80 they are perfect for long travel days or a full work shift cuz you can use them all day with 0 battery anxiety. They have better bass and get louder than my AirPods Pro2...they just don't have all the fancy features like ANC. For the price these are a the perfect backup earbuds
I just bought this nice Beats solo buds yesterday in Hong Kong. Your video is superb very nice. Thanks for your efforts. Just Subscribed Your Channel.....
Amazing battery life, I use them for sleeping. haven't drained yet even after 12hrs. I wasn't happy with the tips, found some older Shure silicone tips that make a solid vacuum seal in ear.w
I actually got my Beats Solo Buds yesterday, and I was actually kind of dissapointed. I was coming from Beats Flex, which are still Beats current most affordable offering. And the Beats Solo Buds to my ears actually sounded worse than the Beats Flex, and they weren’t as comfortable as them as well. So I’ve decided on returning them and keeping my Beats Flex. Unfortunate because they aren’t bad at all, but they just didn’t seem worth $80. Compared to the Beats Flex which retail for $70, but constantly go on sale for as low as $30-$40.
I'm seeing a lot of other reviews missing the very important fact (for some) that the case on these ones does NOT have a battery, so they will NOT charge unless it's plugged in; so props for mentioning it here! For that price, though, I don't mind this tradeoff since the individual battery life is pretty great and it has the usual apple fast connection integration. The other expected tradeoffs (perhaps not too comfortable form factor, no fancy noise reductions or button configurations) are there, but again for the price and a pretty decent sound overall I think I found my choice.
I'm surprised others aren't mentioning it. It's kind of the main selling point or reason why it's so small and why the buds have so much batter life. Also, you literally can't see one in the case lol. It's right there to see! lol
My airpods pro 1 broke MULTIPLE times, first by the ‘rattle of death’ which was replaced in warranty, and then the replacement ones just decided to reduce max volume to 50 percent, stop transparency and ANC, before literally splitting into pieces while in my ear. So I’m trying to move away from airpods but still want to stay in the Apple ecosystem. How do these compare to AirPods pro 1 and to normal apple wired headphones ?
Anyone else notice that it says on the box that these are supposed to support Spatial Audio and they definitely don’t! I actually contacted Apple and was told they don’t. WTF!?
I bought airpods gen 3 and gave it to my wife since it falls of my ear. I bought these since I cant afford another airpods gen 3 price, and i love it. I used the large silicone that the beats provided, and I dont even need the anc feature since I cant hear much outside while wearing it. I like this earbuds. Just basic no random gimmicks and features that you wont even use.
Best review I saw for this so far. But, I hate calling this relatively affordable. $80 for ear buds is NOT affordable unless you are middle class, and those with less money should have an option in this market. A more honest critique is that these ear buds should be cheaper given it's pros and cons. Who needs an 18hr single charge? You aren't awake for that long, so you won't be listening to something for that long. You'll put it in the case at some point, which would charge it in just about any other wireless ear bud option. And how much more space do you really need in your pocket? It will still be a bulgy thing in your pocket, but just a little bit smaller. Price needs to be lower!
My AirPods Pro (1) are nearly dead… and I needed a sort of replacement for them until I take the newest AirPods Pro 3 in September or so, now that I have your input … I don’t know anymore, I though that a pair of solo buds in 2024 could sound “as great” as AirPods Pro … I’m confused now because I have no idea and my AirPods Pro have no longer ANC or transparency and my bass are sizzling and the overall audio is … not that good anymore ..
I did really appreciate the Comfo Buds Mini small size but I got to say even bigger cases like the Linkbuds S fit into my penny pocket of my jeans. Sound quality is never a thing to trade off in my opinion!
@@ZubiForce I'm guilty of keeping one of my other earbuds case in penny pocket and they had fallen off from it. Specially if you ride bike etc. They keep coming up slightly and eventually fall off. Just saying, be aware! lol

@ThisIsTechToday you clearly state you can't get "the seal that you want with any tips" meaning you don't get a proper seal due to your ear shape. Therefore, you don't get a reliable sound to make judgment on the sound quality. Sure you talk about the technical features and a few other aspects but when someone looks at these videos and hears they sound bad, it's not a true/fair assessment. If he’s really not getting a good seal then he’s definitely misleading people into thinking that the sound is bad.

Makes no sense. Most people wouldn’t stand having earbuds 18 hours straight in their ears so what’s the point of this much battery life.
