Changed from the AirPods Pro to the Beats Studio Buds. The former had issues with audio crackle issues along with having a muffled transparency mode. It has great bass compared to the former and I honestly like it way more. Its only downside to me is the lack of the H1 chip which makes it inconvenient to check the battery's specific battery widget (can only view it through a battery bar) and I can only use the "Hey Siri" feature if the phone is near unlike the AirPods Pro which responds to the earbuds themselves. Totally different features for a different buyer but still I prefer them for this reason.
I actually bought power beats pro's the month they came out. They were absolutely amazing!!! Sadly the battery life after the 2 plus years of abuse has dropped to about 10 minutes per bud. The earhook also broke off after about a year and a half. Given the holiday sales I decided to finally buy a set of earbuds. I bought the beats studio buds, they are honestly exactly what I needed. Better fit and more secure fit than airpods. To me they sound better than both airpods pro but not as good as the power beats pro. I got these for $89 at Best Buy. Love them. Wasn’t in the mood to spend $149-$249 for a pair of headphones. Especially when one of the only really differences between the AirPods 3rd Generation and AirPods Pro 2nd generation is noise cancellation. I’m not paying $100 more for noise cancellation lol.
Definitely the win is the AirPods Pro but the problem is it doesn’t last even a year, bought twice and whenever reaches 6th month the left side/buds fails.
Exaxtly the case with me I was at my 8th month and the left side wont pair and dead. Wont show any sign of pairing or show up. Luckily I had a month of warranty left and they replaced it.
My only concern is the lifespan. The AirPods Pro seems to be a disposable product since the battery tends to die after 2-3 years, which makes it harder for me to justify the price.
Yup and honestly, that is why I wouldnt spend more than say a hundred dollars on true wireless. The best pair I got are the Anker liberty Air 2 pro, and as someone who has extensively used the Airpods pro, the ANC and App support on these is so much better. I find it weird that not many youtubers talk about how good the noise cancelling is on the Anker buds. Hell, I bought and returned the Sony Wf-1000XM4 and while it was really good Audio wise, the ANC and general jankiness of the whole fit and foam tips really made me regret spending 300 on them. Spending more than 150 on true wireless is a waste of money right now, that is until they start having 12-15 hour battery life, where the degradation happens over a longer period of time than it does for a pair that lasts for 4-5 hours.
I literally returned the beats buds to get AirPod pro because of comfort I wear a ski mask at work and with the buds Im always adjusting the fit every five minutes I love the design and what it has to offer but once I saw the AirPod pro I chose a winner
I did countless comparisons myself and tons of videos on UA-cam. The Beats have more of that bass so I prefer that especially for the gym. The AirPods give off a clearer sound and are great for phone calls but to me they lacked in that bass department which was a big turn off for me personally. The beats are not the way the go for phone calls. All in all, it honestly depends on what you want them for. Keep in mind, apple makes both products.
I prefer bass of the Beats always, cause I love electronic music and some trap music. For me it’s the best option ever for a lower price. Thanks for the review, you have a new subscriber. 😎💪🏻
nothing will ever beat my powerbeats pros (though i hate how big and bulky the case is), i was just looking for a backup i guess for when my powerbeats battery dies and i have to wait for them to charge or if i wanna carry earbuds around in my pocket. i think i’ll go with the studio buds, they offer a lot considering the price, they look nice and the brand consistency is just satisfying.
after 3 years and 1 month of hard wear and tear on my powerbeats, my left piece, after 20 mins from being fully charged, goes dead like drained dead. it's bad
Bought Airpods Pro a month ago very impressed although i have never owned wireless before. The Beats though look alot easier to loose so I don’t think I would try
I own Studio Buds, and have had them for almost a year now. Recently I used a friend’s pair of Airpod Pros, and I fell in love with them. The Airpods fit in my ear better (the Beats do too, but Airpods don’t fall out as easily) and the transparency and noise cancellation modes on the Airpods blew me away compared to my Beats. Hopefully I can get a pair of the better Airpod Pros Gen 2 which might separate the Beats and Airpods even further.
The other way around for me, the beats stay in my ear vs pros fall out, none of the tips work, and always slides out. The classic AirPods is still my favorite, they never slip out.
I have both and here’s what I use them for: Air pods pro - for work, making calls, using them for virtual meetings you can’t beat the mic and casual podcast for when I’m grocery shoppin. Beats Studio Buds- For the gym so I don’t get sweat on my airpods Hopefully that answers some questions.
I think you forgot to mention Spatial Audio and dynamic head tracking on theAirPods pro, those are pretty big incentives to leave out on the AirPods Pro
@@jshap6551 mate, it doesn’t, there’s ANC and transparency mode, but no Spatial Audio or Dynamic Head Tracking. I’d post a link but UA-cam keeps removing my comment when I do, go through website, you’ll see for yourself.
I bought the air pods pro and I can genuinely say I don’t regret my purchase one bit. I use an iPhone so I get all the benefits of being in the ecosystem. I also take calls at work so having the better mic and the easy transparency switching to talk to other people won it for me.
@Christian Gormley As someone who owned both i fucking hate the beats, the case is too big and the battery life is not good as advertised with anc, and tbh ANC was better im the airpods
@Christian Gormley still the AirPods win it for me. I prefer the style, the size of case and the easy switching between transparency mode etc. and as I said I use Apple products like the phone and watch so they fit in perfectly.
@@vealxs338 idk, I use my beats all day everyday and they last usually 2-3 days before I need to recharge the case and my AirPods I had to charge every single night.
Great video bro, very informative...Thumbs up. Can you also attach the link for the colourful wireless charge that you placed the Airpod pro on @2:16 of the video. I like it.
Which one is better for phone calls? I don’t want my caller complaining about how the quality of my voice sucks. Which one is better for phone conversation-like?
I’ve rocked the Apple AirPods since they debuted but have recently been having issues where phone calls aren’t clear or just plain don’t work and random disconnects. Considering switching to beats after the AirPods just not holding up well overtime it seems like.
earbuds in general will break faster than any of the headphones they are small and easy to break. As much as I love the new beats buds they'll eventually break after a few months of usage
@@ICY_Adox I’ve been using the same hands elite 65t’s for over 3yrs now and I’ve had no issues at all with them but you aren’t technically wrong, cheaper manufacturing does lend to faults over time nowadays
I hope they release a firmware update for the beats studio buds to fix the hissing and voice quality. I like them better than my airpods pro because of the black color that I chose sound quality and they last longer than my airpods pro. Good comparison video 👍🏽
I agree with almost everything you stated except for the noise cancellation. I’ve owned both ear buds and the obvious winner is beats. The comfortable seal the beats has reduces a lot of noise without the use of active noise cancellation, with it on it completely blocks out sound with music on.
One thing you should mention, you reviewed the AirPod pro 2. The gen 1 AirPods are not the same at all. Also the beats will go on sale for $100. The air pod 2 sale is $229. Huge difference.
I’ve had the AirPod pros for the past year and a half and they don’t seem to stay in my ear I’m constantly having to push them in. I am an ironworker so I’m welding all day listening to music and podcasts. When they start to die I charge them during my lunch break which is only 30 minutes. By the time I put them back in I only get another hour or two of listening time for the rest of the day. I recently bought the beats and i’m in love. They stay in my ear never fall out and are super comfortable. Also I enjoy pushing the button a lot more than having a sensor from the AirPods. By the time I go to lunch my headphones are still at 60% I put them in the case for 30 minutes and when I return to work they are at 95%. I love these headphones hands down no comparison at all💯
AirPods Pro are leagues better than the Studio Beats. I returned the latter within hours of receiving them, as they’re some of the worst sounding earbuds I’ve purchased.
Ive tested both, my friend has the beats and the beats sound quality is a little worse. Like the instruments sometimes you can't separate them apart, it sounds mushed up together
I bought the Beats studio buds compared to my cousin's Airpod pros I think they are much better with both sound, comfort & compatibility so I'm happy with the Beats studio buds
@@kmorris4140 that I can't really tell you, I've never tried airpod pros before so you're probably going to have to ask someone else about that, I'm really sorry...
Hmm weird, i was in a conference call and ppl noticed my voice was clearer with my studio buds than my prev AirPods Pro, might been the mic been wearing out after 2 year
I had both ( I lost my AirPods Pro😭) in my opinion the bass is heavier in the beats than the pros but the volume I feel is louder in the pros and the noise cancellation i think is also better in the beats but other than that everything else is just about the same for me. And the fact that the beats don’t pause the music when you take one out
Great 👍 review on these 2 earbuds I just picked up some beats today and really like the way the beats sound and fit nicely in ear.... but I think at the end of the day U gotta do what's best for your ears ...what sounds good to you and manageable for your finances.
Got the Airpods Pro and started to consider the Beats because they definitely look cooler, but nothing he said convinced me to switch (not that he was trying to). I use my AirPods for everything from listening to music and podcasts to meditation and reading (with ambient sounds) to work video conferences to telephone calls and FaceTime to watching movies in Spatial Audio. The seamless switching from iPhone to iPad is so useful. The Beats just wouldn’t be able to do all of these tasks as well as the AirPods.
DOENST matter if you wear AirPods Pro or beats, anyone who sees any of them would say they’re wearing apple. Plus beats offer u everything for a lot lesser price that u get on the AirPods Pro. Going for the beats
My partial scores: 1. Beats (although it's a draw if comfort also counts). 2. AirPods Pro (I don't like in-ear designs). 3. Beats (I'm OK with not having Wireless, but Not having USB-C is a no-no to me).
Great video man, love the detail! I’ve had the AirPods Pro since 2019 and I’ve owned two pairs of beats studio buds and personally the sound quality on the AirPod pros are levels above the beats. I saw all the positive reviews and hoped for at least decent sound quality for the beats (I love my Powerbeats and solo pros) but the studio buds were just muddy all around. ear pressure was a concern and the transparency mode was unnatural. Even the hey Siri functionality was inferior as it completely stops the music to listen to your voice rather than simply lower the volume like the AirPods, Powerbeats, and solo pros do. (No review ever mentions this)
Thanks for your information. If I had one airpod pro not working, should I go grab a pair of these? I love the look of the beats and was thinking to get a pair very soon. Is the pressure/noise cancellation as bad as they say and would you go so far as to say that you wouldn’t recommend the beats? Thanks!
@@noahk9204 if I were to recommend off my personal experience, yes I would still just get another pair of AirPods Pro’s (they’re finally on discount at Best Buy and target I believe) But as you can see on UA-cam there are many positive reviews for the beats studio buds so maybe your experience will be good too! It’s worth a try and just return them if they aren’t for you. I agree that they look amazing, which is why I bought a couple pairs myself last week. I’m a huge beats fan too. But yes a huge issue for me was that I got used to the amazing notice cancellation and transparency of the AirPods and the studio buds are definitely not up to par with them. The sound quality is not as crisp and the ear pressure was because the beats don’t have as strong vents as the AirPods.
@@mambaforever24. thanks for your info! I was debating on which ones to get but seems like the AirPods Pro seem to be the better option also they are on discounts similar price to the beats
What wasn’t mentioned is that the Beats do not pause if the earbud so happens to fall out of your ear.. and either I haven’t adjusted the setting or it doesn’t allow you to end call by earbuds
Well people use earphones for a long duration in todays world and not too loud. So it doesnt matter if ipod is better at high voices. Its all about duration and hearing those small sounds at the back without having to turn the volume up…
So basically beats wins in compatibility, price & battery life but apple wins in sound quality. I might still get a pair of beats. Worst case scenario I’ll return ‘em
The 275 is indeed a little expensive although someone can most likely find a better deal. But I think the seamless connectivity with the apple ecosystem really makes life easier. I've been struggling for a while now with problems that someone is calling me while my BL headphones are connected to the Mac, have to disconnect from the Mac, connect to the iPhone and call them back. Or turning on the headphones, they connect automatically to the last connected device and then I have to find which device is it. My point is that all the categories are not equally important for me, I don't care for the looks, and I don't have such a good ear to hear small differences in highs and lows. But saving me the trouble to manually connect and disconnect, that I find very important. Obviously for android users it's a no brainer to save 100 and go for the beats.
I have and iPhone and own AirPod pros, the things you can do with the AirPods in the iPhone is phenomenal out of this world but I listen to a lot of music especially in school. It helps me focus, but the 5 hours battery life kills it for me especially when I travel to my football games or track meets and they die on me it sucks. So the beats 8 hours battery life caught me and the color customization, Apple needs to apply that to the AirPods Pro seeing as so many people want other colored AirPods. Plus the beats can do almost everything the AirPods can and 100$ less that’s astounding. Ik my AirPods are water resistant I’ve dropped them in the water a few times and they came out perfectly fine but idk about the beats I will have to see to that category.
Okay. I have the pros. I work in a loud cooler warehouse where when we talk to each other we yeal a bit. I had to replace my right AirPod Pro twice because the noise cancellation speaker that’s placed on the outside of the airpod literally sounded like it was a blown speaker. I noticed it was cuz my loud talking in the warehouse was busting the speaker. I told this to Apple both times I went to replace them. So does the beats have an outside noise cancellation speaker too? I don’t see one on the outer space of it.
Being in Canada, there is one more thing to consider. BEING IN CANADA! For me, the beats are $170 CAD or $190CAD after tax. plus shipping, I paid $203 for the beats. BUT, for us in Canada, those Air Pods Pro are $330CAD or $373 after tax and probably $400 almost with shipping. NO THANK YOU. you are not paying for product here. You are paying for a name, and a name that I don' think is all that spectacular.
I almost cancelled my order for the AirPods Pro and got the Beats Studio Buds. I’m so glad I stuck with the AirPods Pro after all. I listen to podcasts constantly and vocals are important for that. Sound quality is fairly important to me also but they don’t need to be top tier and I’m no audiophile. I am completely invested in the apple ecosystem and the convenience and well rounded quality overall makes these the clear winner in my book.
I honestly love/hate my AirPods Pro, they fall out my ears when im not moving but stay still when im active which makes no dam sense and every other headphone besides the new Sony earbuds work for me (had to return the Sony earbuds because they hurt my ears smh) getting the beats would be a step backwards in terms of ANC but maybe just maybe the fit in ear might make me not care
I bought the AirPods Pro about three years ago and now only one earbud works and ever since I bought it it always made rattling noise in any mode smh waste of money 🤦🏽♂️
I wish I had good tings to say about the Beats Buds but I've had them for about 8 months or so and I have always struggled with them falling out of my ears, even though I have them on the smallest cushion and the middle sized cushion is uncomfortable for me. The Buds have amazing sound quality but when I put them in the case to charge, they'll make a high pitched whirring noise (and sometimes in my ear ) and not disconnect from the phone when charging. I've been highly considering the AirPods Pros or even the AirPods Gen. 3 for the simple fact that my 1st gen wasn't to bad but the sound completely went out in the left ear after the second year. Also being able to locate my AirPods is a plus IMO.
to be honest the beats earbuds might not have all the features as airpods pro, but when it comes to listening to music oh yes. good quality and bass, especially when listening to rock music hell yeah. if you're a person who likes listening to music all the time i prefer you buy the beats! their amazing :)

yes and that is why i got the powerbeats pro
I love EDM especially trance should i choose beats?
@@UnToughtReaper1 Of course, you’ll not be disappointed.
@Damian Wójcikiewicz if you’re looking for bass try the Beats. 🙌🏻
nothing will ever beat my powerbeats pros (though i hate how big and bulky the case is), i was just looking for a backup i guess for when my powerbeats battery dies and i have to wait for them to charge or if i wanna carry
earbuds around in my pocket. i think i’ll go with the studio buds, they offer a lot considering the price, they look nice and the brand consistency is just satisfying.
after 3 years and 1 month of hard wear and tear on my powerbeats, my left piece, after 20 mins from being fully charged, goes dead like drained dead.
Hopefully I can get a pair of the better Airpod Pros Gen 2 which might separate the Beats and Airpods even further.
if the earphones fall out easily from your ears, that means only that you need to replace the cushions with a smaller one.
The other way around for me, the beats stay in my ear vs pros fall out, none of the tips work, and always slides out. The classic AirPods is still my favorite, they never slip out.
I LIKE THE COLOR OPTIONS WITH BEATS. I WORK ON CARS FOR A LIVING AND THE AIRPODS GET DIRTY RATHER EASY.
To be totally honest I like the unnatural feel of the beats' transparency mode, I don't totally know why, but I think it's pretty cool.
I have both and here’s what I use them for:
Air pods pro - for work, making calls, using them for virtual meetings you can’t beat the mic and casual podcast for when I’m grocery shoppin.
Beats Studio Buds- For the gym so I don’t get sweat on my airpods
Hopefully that answers some questions.
Please make a lava lamp review
Just here because my airpods pro is about to retire and I'm planning to get the beats studio buds next. 😊
Update: I end up getting the beats fit pro.
also with beats buds you can chang the size of the grip really cool
The fact that u have to compare beat to air pods “PROs” means beats just better
so a big deciding factor for me has been that Airpod pros are $175 on amazon right now. That price drop has been a big reason for my purchase
I got the beats studio buds for 90

They both have that
@@jshap6551 no, the Beats don’t come with that

@@jshap6551 mate, it doesn’t, there’s ANC and transparency mode, but no Spatial Audio or Dynamic Head Tracking. I’d post a link but UA-cam keeps removing my comment when I do, go through website, you’ll see for yourself.
@@Chris24_ then how come I'm using the spatial audio head tracking with my beats studio buds right now
I bought the air pods pro and I can genuinely say I don’t regret my purchase one bit.

I like it.
This is now my 2nd video from your channel I def subbed I like this and thanks for this review you really got me contemplating buying stuff lmao
Excellent comparison. Thanks!
Great video as always! Also I love your shots. They turned out great!
This is such a good review wow I’m definitely buying the beats lol
I bet you are
Thank you UA-cam for randomly suggesting me such a beautiful Tech channel.
I hope they release a firmware update for the beats studio buds to fix the hissing and voice quality. I like them better than my airpods pro because of the black color that I chose sound quality and they last longer than my airpods pro. Good comparison video 👍🏽
Would you say that the beats studio buds sound better than the airpods pro ?
I agree with almost everything you stated except for the noise cancellation. I’ve owned both ear buds and the obvious winner is beats. The comfortable seal the beats has reduces a lot of noise without the use of active noise cancellation, with it on it completely blocks out sound with music on.
I agree bro
I love these headphones hands down no comparison at all💯
Being the Beats are on sale for holidays at $89 everywhere seems like they are the best bang for buck.
It’s not as good as airpod pro at all
I bought the Beats studio buds compared to my cousin's Airpod pros I think they are much better with both sound, comfort & compatibility so I'm happy with the Beats studio buds
Which is louder?
@@kmorris4140 that I can't really tell you, I've never tried airpod pros before so you're probably going to have to ask someone else about that, I'm really sorry...

A new review would be nice to compare the Beats Studio Buds + compared to the previous ones.
It doesn’t matter both are good and they do a good job on both sides. The only thing is that beats have more battery
and quality high music and bass
Mine are broken then because my bf has the pros and uses noise cancellation and they last a lot longer than my beats
Great review 👍🏿💯
Hmm weird, i was in a conference call and ppl noticed my voice was clearer with my studio buds than my prev AirPods Pro, might been the mic been wearing out after 2 year
I chose apple airpods over the beats because I hate the rubber ear buds of the beats. Won't stay in my ears and feel intrusive.

I had both ( I lost my AirPods Pro😭) in my opinion the bass is heavier in the beats than the pros but the volume I feel is louder in the pros and the noise cancellation i think is also better in the beats but other than that everything else is just about the same for me. And the fact that the beats don’t pause the music when you take one out
i bought the airpods and returned them for beats studio buds. airpods fall out when i scratch my balls. imagine if i run

I personally prefer the AirPods design. Not sure why so many people dislike the design.

DOENST matter if you wear AirPods Pro or beats, anyone who sees any of them would say they’re wearing apple. Plus beats offer u everything for a lot lesser price that u get on the AirPods Pro. Going for the beats
My partial scores:
1. Beats (although it's a draw if comfort also counts).
2. AirPods Pro (I don't like in-ear designs).
3. Beats (I'm OK with not having Wireless, but Not having USB-C is a no-no to me).

@@eschofield9857 That was why I picked Beats over AirPods Pro.
Very fair comments! Nicely done!
Thanks!
@@noahk9204 if I were to recommend off my personal experience, yes I would still just get another pair of AirPods Pro’s (they’re finally on discount at Best Buy and target I believe)
But as you can see on UA-cam there are many positive reviews for the beats studio buds so maybe your experience will be good too!

I susbscribed a couple of months ago. This is probably one of the most underrated tech channels on UA-cam!

Ok definitely subjective for the 1st category. I’ve never heard anyone say anything bad about the design of the airpod pros?????
I really love their design…from a distance but they look kinda chunky
@@OrionG I mean they are thicc but why does being thicc=un-attractive 🥺🥺🥺🥺
I think the beats look a lot worse than the airpods
Well people use earphones for a long duration in todays world and not too loud. So it doesnt matter if ipod is better at high voices. Its all about duration and hearing those small sounds at the back without having to turn the volume up…
So basically beats wins in compatibility, price & battery life but apple wins in sound quality. I might still get a pair of beats. Worst case scenario I’ll return ‘em
But Apple makes Beats 😉
@@Drolly95 they don't 😐
Transparency mode is one of the things that almost every company suck at…. Except apple.
My brother just gave me his beats they’re like brand new too w

Bought AirPods… right one stopped working in a day..case stopped charging the next then switched to the beats …no issues at all
I honestly love/hate my AirPods Pro, they fall out my ears when im not moving but stay still when im active which makes no dam sense and every other headphone besides the new Sony earbuds work for me (had to return the Sony earbuds because they hurt my ears smh) getting the beats would be a step backwards in terms of ANC but maybe just maybe the fit in ear might make me not care
I bought the AirPods Pro about three years ago and now only one earbud works and ever since I bought it it always made rattling noise in any mode smh waste of money 🤦🏽♂️
Apple vs Apple and Apple won, nice
