Hello Jason, Great review. I purchased this watch back in March for $119 and can you believe it is still in its box unsized as I have been playing around with other watches. That said, the watch came in overall good shape. I like it but the lume looks a little too yellow in day light, although not bad in dark conditions. Overall I am very happy. It's a very nice watch. I always trust the Seiko movement, that's always a selling point, the shade of red is perfectly Tudor and the dial is very good looking. Can't complain about the lume for the price I suppose. I'm always a bit worried about QC though. When I think of Pagani, sometimes I think of Forrest Gump.....life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get! 😂 I will say though, if the problem is with the bracelet rather than the watch itself maybe I could live with it.
The issue with the bracelet was more of a nuisance than an actual problem because I couldn't wear it for the review. They were happy to help and eventually it was sorted.
@@JasonTheWatchGuy Yes, sure, that's good, but will they be as good to normal customers as to a well known watch reviewer? I wouldn't fancy having to send products back and waiting for replacements. I'd just ditch the bracelet and get a new one!
You've got a very valid point! I think that's why it's so important for reviewers to report problems they have with products over trying to sort it with the brand first

@@JasonTheWatchGuy thanks! But bezels come in a lot of different sizes 😅 like 39.5x32.8, others 38.2x33, etc 😉 that's why I'm asking. I asked vendors in AliX but to no avail.
Right now, I don't think it's worth the risk to order this Pagani. They need to sort out their QC. Mine came with a broken rivet in the bracelet - I'm literally shipping my bracelet back today. That said, I got this one in the black and gold in the vintage look. The red band in the crown does highlight the red triangle pip. The watch looks great on my black fitted rubber aftermarket strap. A pretty watch, but not worth the money considering the risk of QC issues.
Thats truly their biggest failure. I understand they concentrate on quantity over quality but at the very least they need to be delivering working and wearable pieces
It's not the homage watches, it's any mention of fake watches at the moment. I think UA-cam need to sort it out, the reviewers haven't done anything wrong
I love mine and how to complain at this price point? Seems to me more like a global tudor divers hommage then one in particular. The only bad engeneering i found is with the clasp too but another way... you can't fold it when on the smallest micro adjustment cs it's too thick at his clicking point. Thanks for all your reviews.
I'd agree with that, the inspiration is tudor but not one in particular. That's another annoyance then! I'm still waiting for the day that they release a decent watch with no issues to report back

Nice review. I totally agree with you on the date window. It would have been so much nicer if it had been at 6 O'clock. The date window stands out more on my PD-1671 as the text is printed in gold rather than white. So the date window is the only white thing on the dial now. The gold text does look good though! I also have my eye on their new seamaster too, the PD-1685. I like the silver/grey dial, blue bezel version on a bracelet.
I have the hulk pagani already which has been faultless so hopefully i get same luck again. I did drop the hulk taking it off afew weeks ago and now cant change the date with crown i have to spin through 24hours to set it but not end of the world, keep up the good work man 👌👍

It's a standard bezel insert, you can find hundreds on Aliexpress same way as an skx

Was excited about this when it came out but when it arrived i knew it wasn't a keeper, the colour of the hands was just wrong 😅😅

The new seamaster does look good, thinking of selling my 007 version and picking up one of the new ones. Dial looks really good
