The issue with Natos is that they don't work that well with thick watches like divers (no matter what TGV says), the look clashes with classic dress watches and pilot watches kinda need leather, so you are basically stuck with smaller field watches, quartz dress watches (which watchtube dislikes) and quartz sports watches (which get pretty much ignored except for Casio).
Your videos have been a lifesaver during lockdown Jody, think I'm going to pull the trigger on this one, it's too good a deal to miss.

Yeah good title but I never and I mean it, never saw a brand that sells a watch with a goodquality bracelet, saphire crystal and ceramic bezel and a movement that has everything (hacking,handwinding, accuracy) for 150bucks and less. Purchased the one in the video today, now Im gonna see how it is

I ordered one of these based on Your preview a couple days ago, and a few other reviewers' recommendations. And yes, I ordered it on the rubber strap because of multiple people's negative opinions of the bracelet. I waffled between this "Bond" version and the black and orange, but settled on the fauxtina. Thanks for the great reviews, always.
I am with everyone on the lockdown lifesaver content so MANY thx Jody. Also I had bought this watch on the rubber strap and I am totally delighted with it. It’s on a mesh at the moment but with quick release spring bars I can flip looks in seconds. 👍👍👍

I got this this month and almost returned it. Amazon offers it on the mesh strap now which is great. I wore it on a nato and almost returend it at first but then put on hte mesh and WOW! It really is stunning homage in person. Decidedly NOT returning it and keeping it on the mesh bracelet for sure.

Just taken delivery of my one today on Silicone/Rubber strap. Very happy with it on that strap so fingers crossed that the nylon stitching effect does not fray as I've seen on one or two reviews.
Homage does not bother me but this is my first, and so far impressed with Pagani's build quality. Watch looks stunning. Great video by the way and assisted me in taking the plunge.

Just got one of these, came with the metal mesh strap fitted (non-branded) and Pagani branded nato and rubber straps. Loving it so far.
Just got my no time to die, the bezel has back play but it’s a extremely good looking watch and Jodi was spot on with the rubber strap!!
After 6 weeks of anxiously checking Yun Express several times per day this beauty is finally on my wrist and it looks incredible!
+2 sec/day on my Watch Accuracy phone app. Bezel is a little misaligned and bouncy. Also, the crown is a little finicky to screw down but for $120 from Amazon I am absolutely thrilled! I love the supplied black nylon clasp strap but may soon try the supplied black and Grey NATO.

Great review Shaun/Jody. I bought one of these in a sale after watching your vid. Got it on a strap rather than the hefty bracelet. Much better option. I've been wearing it occasionally since, however, a week or two ago I wound it a bit and wore it for 6 days straight. The darned thing gained ONE SECOND in all that time!!!!!!!! The only thing I really don't like is the skeleton hands, it would have been far better with 'filled in' ones. Would dearly love to swap them out but (1) I'm not confident enough to pull it apart and do it myself (2) it's not worth paying a watchmaker to do it. Never mind.
Just got mine from Aliexpress 11-11 sale from Jody's link. Far and away the best Pagani Design quality control I have had. Thanks Jody for the tip on getting the rubber strap. I would have done the bracelet otherwise. Strap is very good. Bezel action is very good in line with almost no back play. Finishing is excellent and thankfully the crown has a nice pop out when unscrewing like my Pagani Datejust homage which starts flipping the date over before the crown pops far enough to wind. Totally worth the money and a keeper.
January 4 and I finally received mine that was ordered on 11/11, not only does mine have a better bracelet but also came with a black and silver NATO. My only complaint with the watch is a lack of any anti reflective coating, you can almost shave using the crystal you have such a good reflection.
2 years later, how's the watch holding up? Do you still have it up and running? I'm considering it as my next purchase, looking for an opinion

That's actually a pretty good Connery imitation. The regimental-color Bond NATO (red/green/black) adds some flavor while still staying authentic. A heavy steel automatic on a NATO strap can become a wrecking ball on your wrist if you're active, but it's actually my favorite way to mount a watch, especially one I want to be sure I don't lose. Love the channel!
Jody, that Vostock Mesh Bracelet, is a great match for that "Bond Like" Watch. For It brings to mind; another Bond Favorite - "From Russia with Love". A tour of Bond Films, on your wrist. Brilliant ! ;-)
Of all the pagani’s you’ve reviewed, this one is my favourite. Incredible value for money, looking more expensive than it is. Shame about that bracelet though, so agree, go to the rubber strap.
I just received mine with gel strap. Great watch for the price. I bought it at Aliexpress BF sale and it took 6 weeks to ship to Canada. Great recommendation.

Okay, then. I'm taking your recommendation. I liked the Omega Seamaster but since I never have roughly $10,000 to spare, I knew I'd never be able to touch one. This is my first Pagani and my first AliExpress purchase. I've heard mixed reviews on both, but I'm going for it. Thanks, as always, for another entertaining and informative video.
Why not buying an Omega replica instead?
Mine just arrived on the rubber (they threw in a stretchy bond that is actually not too terrible). Very comfortable on the rubber.
I had no intention of buying a homage watch until watching this video. I might have not settled on this exact watch, but I wound up discovering the Bliger GMT Seamaster homage for $80 (after tax) with the Aliexpress November sale. Thank you Jody for this video. It was a hard decision between the Pagini and the Bliger.

I have just purchased one of these very pleased with it mine came with the mesh prefer the NATO strap as I find the mesh to fiddly but it does look with the mesh

The wife bought me this one on the rubber strap for just under £80 in the sale, based purely on your top 10 aliexpress, will find out on xmas how I get on with it.
There have been many watches, as I have collected, that I have claimed were my "favorites." This is usually a product of each honeymoon. But over time, and long since the honeymoon has passed on this one...THIS is the watch that wins the marathon and always ends the race as my ACTUAL favorite.
I am sure I watched this video way back when, before I bought this watch. I cannot find a bad thing to say about it. Watching again today, to see what "niggles" you found...and also to have a bit of fun hearing that word which would surely be misunderstood if we used it here in the States...haha
After rewatching: Your negatives are almost all with the bracelets. I replace the band on Pagani's as soon as I take them out of the box, making it make sense why I don't have any complaints. Mine is on a black NATO.

I have 4 Pagani Design watches I just love then except for the out of alignment bezel it seems to be an inherent problem with there production ! , luckily I have found a way of sorting this by soaking the bezel watch face down in nail polish remover just up to the bezel for 10 mins and remove clean off the residue and then you should find you can press on the bezel with two fingers and move the bezel clockwise against the one way movement on the softened glue that holds the insert in so you can align it at 12 o’clock you need to keep pressing down occasionally and keep an eye on it as it try’s to go back slightly be patient until the glue resets , I’ve now done this on 4 of my Pagani watches it works a treat !
I ordered the Phylida version with the PT5000 movement, the other day. I think they did a better job at their "homage" of the Omega and I've been wanting a watch with that movement. Now I just have to wait 2 to 3 months.
I got the 007 "Commander" colourway on rubber - can confirm it's seriously comfortable and looks way too classy for the money.
Please check out the Phylida! It's amazing and a direct representation of the new Omega. The Phylida is seriously amazing. I have both and prefer it over the PD. The Phylida looks 10x better, and the bracelet is the original Seamaster. Currently sitting on a mesh and I got a new Bond strap. Also, Heimdallr is releasing one soon as well. The Phylida is by far my favorite Chinese special to date, over any of the Parnis, Pagani, etc. That I have, I think you would love it.

Received mine in the post yesterday , after watching your video and ordering one . I took your recommendation and went for the Rubber strap, I love the watch, but the ' rubber' strap is more like plastic , very hard . Fortunately I also took your advice and ordered a mesh bracelet which arrived 2 weeks before the watch, so i will be swapping to that . They did include a free Nato Bond type strap, but I like them less than you do !

Just received mine and it's probably my favorite sub $100 watch now. Ordered on the rubber strap, it came with the Pagani NATO and the bracelet should be here whenever it get here on the slow boat from China. Love the channel even though it may be bad for my wallet.

Hey Jody, I watched a video from Ivan at Perth watch that was reporting a 90 click bezel wtih a fair bit of backplay. He counted the clicks to make sure it wasn't 120 clicks. You did mention that there appears to be two generations of these, is there an easy way to identify them when purchasing them? I would hate to buy one of these and get a 90 click bezel. It's the main reason why I didn't buy the pagani submariner homage. I bought a PD1645 on your recommendation and I love it so I am considering this as my next Pagani purchase

I really like mine, BUT my bezel action is pretty bad. Lots of play. I wonder if I need to contact Pagani to swap out for one of these second gens that you received.
I have the exact one excellent watch.With Nato and Stainless steel mesh.I love Homage watches for their looks and Seiko NH35A And NH36A You cannot go wrong Believe me.
I find it amazing that this watch has none of the flaws of that $20,000 gmt the other week.
All looks very reflective - little if any AR coating and shiny shiny bezel.
