Nice work! A few notes: On exercise 1, no need to put the arms exactly at the sides of the body. This position may injure the shoulders, for some people. On 3 (the Arnold press), this rotation is useless. It's better to do just a regular shoulder press.
"Over the head" is very close to a Indian club movement called "Inner heart shaped swing." Club swinging is really good for shoulders, I use it for warming ups all the time.
Fantastic! I've pulled my left shoulder quite often since it dislocated years ago during a wrestling exercise. This routine helps a lot. Nr. 6 and 7 are really scary for me, going right through those positions where it might pop (there's a lot of instability there) but little by little things are looking up. Thx :)
nice workout with some excellent exercises. one question: 10 exercises each 10 times is in the endurance range. what is the advantage of such a setting compared to more hypertrophy based workout? or in other when should we focus on stability with more reps / less breaks / lower intensity rather than acquiring more power (less volume / high intensity / longer breaks)?
i hear a lot about how people avoid heavy weights for shoulder exercises like this because you don't want to stress the rotator cuff that much otherwise you can easily get injured
Especially with movements like the ones starting at 11:00 the muscles responsible for that movement and the rotator cuff are small and can be strained relatively easy. They’re not big strong muscles (comparatively) like the delts and when they get injured it can really impair shoulder function. To get around that you train with volume as opposed to heavy resistance
Awesome workout! My previous shoulder routine was just a ton of sets of lateral and front raises, so it was fairly boring. I like this one because it adds some variety which keeps it fun. Do you recommend any rests between each set?
Gracie's right - doing exercise is a great way to warm up in bed. I've done crunches to get warm on cold bivvies (or just in my flat in winter...). Hi! For exercise 1, how do you suggest altering it? (Beginner at using dumbbells here)
@@icapolicarpio1376 Putting your arms at a 45º with your body. It's the same exercise but more safe.
@@uchimabr6128Thanks so much!!!!
Hey Shauna, so cool! Could you do a full body stretch video for climbers? I really struggle with the stretching sometimes...:-)
Jesus shauna just seen you on a redbull advert on here and noticed it was you straight away! Still working hard even after school 😁 happy for you x

starts at 1:55 :) in case you do it often ;)
Brilliant. Going to try the partner challenge with my kids. Would be great if you could add in a warm up and stretch at the end
Thank you Shauna. I`m very enjoy!!
Excellent workout ideas. Thank you so much.

This is an awesome little workout, perfect length and varying difficulty level with different weights for tired days 😂

Nice. Thank you.
love this shoulder workout, I really need to start doing the stretching one too!
Not a climber but found this really good addition to functional strength workouts 👌
Hey Shauna, can you do a video about antagonist workouts? Keep up with the videos great channel!

So excited for this!! Can't wait to try it!!
Awesomeness. Fun exercise means consistent exercise.
Shauna's shoulder is just insane
great job :)
Great video girls. You just made my day. Keep it up.
Many thanks for another great video! What floor mat are you using?
Excellent workout, I think this will really help my shoulder strength until I can climb again!
is it me i want to snowboard & i love your attitude, you think you ever convert those strengths to winter sport?
Surprised Gracie didn't pull out the YMCA at the end
Are they allowing you back to climbing walls yet (as an elite athlete)
how heavy of a weight???
Wish I actually had weights, only thing I have are two 64 oz growlers that I filled with water, they work, but arent exactly ergonomic
Ta for the great workout suggestions :0)
