Proof the internet is actually worth a damn! All this alternative therapy and media has saved us all a ton of misery and pain. I did theATG knee program for about 1 year. Now I run miles and miles and miles. It was worth it and I am glad to have given Ben some flow compared to the insane amount of money surgeons get

Probably not coincidence, my theory is many of these apps including Google listen in the background and take key phrases to feed the algorithm for video, news, etc suggestions. It's happened way too often that I'll have a specific conversation with someone and then the next day I'll get ads, suggested news articles or yt videos on that same topic.

I’m 53. I have a number of buddies in my age group suffering from shoulder problems. I have avoided shoulder problems after I learned exercising the rotator cuff back in my 30s when I did exercises as Ben demonstrates to reverse out the shoulder tendinitis I had at the time. Im happy to say that my shoulders are healthy and strong, thanks to these exercises. I think people often only use weights to get muscular and avoid lifting light weights and associated lightweight exercises, such as working rotator cuffs because it doesn’t make you muscular. Having a nice physique drew me into bodybuilding, but feeling fit and physically active like a 20 something is what keeps me going; including bench, pressing heavyweight, but also working the smaller muscles and dynamic ways with lighter weights to maintain full mobility and range of motion as I “age” 💪🏼

Ben, you are an absolute boon to us. I really want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. A month ago I was in debilitating pian with my shoulders, lower back and legs. The more Yt videos I watched the more I realised just how much I was lacking, from having piriformis syndrome to gluteal amnesia to very tight Lats and had realised that if I start doing all their exercises it would take me an entire day to just do rehab exercises so I ditched them all and started on your program. Now I am pain free, have great mobility , I feel a little athletic too ngl 😅 and eternally grateful to you. May you be bombarded with lots and lots of success in your life.

Thank you for sharing these techniques, and emphasizing the importance of shoulder health. The shoulder is the most complex joint in the body, even more complex than the knee, and we really should take special care of it.
I personally learnt this the hard way when I still in my teens. I was a javelin thrower, close to international level, but I ended up with a severe repetitive strain injury in my shoulder (teres minor tendon tear and rotator cuff tear). I ended up getting surgery and could never compete again. I'm sure the external rotation exersice shown in just video on its own would already have gone a long way in preventing my injury.

I'm 38, today was the first day of my 23e week of lifting (and I started going hard from the start)
One if the things I did was use resistance bands to do shoulder rotation excersizes both inward/outwardb and up/down. (my left arm wing rotate completely upward or rotate outward enough, that's why i started them, and only started doing shoulder presses after the 2nd month, when my arm could go up enough to do shoulder presses at a 75 degree incline)
And because of my age, I also have 20-30 min of stretching after lifting.

Just bench pressed the 90lb dumbbells on Monday for 7 reps. Not pushing it.

good video respect, but It’s interesting how something as simple as tweaking your daily routine can lead to major improvements in productivity. I’ve been exploring different strategies recently, and one approach I came across in The Ultimate Guide to Productivity and Personal Growth by Borlest really resonated with me. The idea of breaking tasks down into smaller steps and being mindful of how I spend my time has made a noticeable difference in how I approach my day. It’s not something I’d thought much about before, but applying just a few tips has already helped me stay more focused.

I'd love to see some entry level exercises for people with very unhealthy neuromuscular patterns. For some people who really struggle with Teres and Infraspinatus activation, they may need exercises that are more simple to redevelop their mind-muscle connection.

Would this work on shoulder bursitis and impingement?

It works on impingement. The rotators kind of center your humerus-head in the shoulder joint and thus make more space for your supraspinatus-tendon.
