- RimWorld's Hardest Difficulty bumped up to 500%, without using pause, and only being allowed to have a single RimWorld Biotech Mechanitor pawn!
This No Pause RimWorld playthrough is played against Randy Random, on Losing is Fun difficulty bumped up to 500% (the maximum). The gameplay takes place on a Desert map. Adam is not allowed to have additional colonists!

This playthrough was recorded LIVE on Twitch. As such, I am speaking with chat throughout (even though this is edited). Videos without chat will be listed as 'UA-cam Exclusive'.
*No Pause - I am using a mod that disables pause in every portion of the game. This means it is impossible for me to pause with a key press and the game will not pause during events or trade, making things much more difficult.
** Losing is Fun set to +500% is the hardest difficulty in unmodded RimWorld

This ending was implemented with really minimal content. It has such potential but was phoned in. I really would like to see it improved in the future, but likely to just stay a depressing way to play Game+ in Rimworld.
Not only should the mechanitor keep his mech research, it would have been a good easter egg to have a mechanitor research the sites. If you got bonuses, like maybe some free mechs spawn out of the ground and you had to defeat a bug spawn with them then you would have some fun there. Plus the ending itself just needs a 100% rework instead of being the least challenging or rewarding to do.

The game must decide if travelers/raiders are related to a pawn first, then figure out how, because I did a run with raids every two days, and after a couple years raiders just started being listed as "kin", but I still got several in every raid who were related to someone. I had quite a few pawns with 10-20 dead relatives. Fortunately the mood hit for dead kin doesn't last too long, so they only had a few stacks at a time.
Improvable mechs has always seemed like a good idea to me. Say with an additional research like Advanced Machine Calibration or something, and then you have to shove in a bunch of Advanced Components and Plasteel for each individual bot. That would be a reasonable balance for the extra power, wouldn't it?

What is that thing just above the meditation spot? in 1000+ hours I have never seen that..

Guys, can anyone of you explane me what does this question mean: "Is it possible to win the game without being asked if something is a wall". On 10:58
Why there is "being asked if something is" part? What the hell it's mean?
A while ago Adam did a run where he was not allowed to build walls. During this challenge people asked if things like doors or columns count as walls.
Since then it has become a runnig joke of asking if something is a wall

Time to update the name of the run to Uncle Run instead of Solo Maechanitor
I noticed that you have a door between two air-con's, does that stop the heat from being produced?
3:36 The general idea of keeping all Uncles might make for an interesting playthrough. Maybe you have to try and capture any relation of any pawn you have, regardless of what faction they are from. I might have to try that some time.

Raids can’t enter the map where there is a chunk or roof. So you can block sides off you don’t want raids spawning from. (I end up not doing it in this run, but you can see it in the 'cheese run' here - ua-cam.com/video/oxehOHnmPxo/v-deo.html

It's too bad the mechs aren't worth the wealth. I thought this would be a "mechanitor and his small army of mechs"-run
@@Skall-ex I think it is doable with a small group of scythers and a 'no killbox just outer walls' style, for sure.
Boss mechs waiting for allies and enemies to walk away feels way too consistent to be pure RNG.
If you're just producing stuff for the poibt of wealth that you're not going to use then why not produce combat mechs?
Combat mechs 'double dip' they are raid points AND wealth.

um actualy the loyal raiders are in a sence robbing youz from a *potencial downed pawn becuse if the raid had only normal pawns you can convert there was more of a chanse to get one
