Slight Correction, I said you finish the game and dont get a credits roll. I didnt explain what I meant. When you finish the main storyline and the big reveals happen. The game does give you a final mission. But this mission is structured to present the Live Service elements to you. Well the endgame ones. Beating the boss here WILL give you a credits roll. But you'll see once you do it, its going to feel odd going from the final fight, to more farming, to another final fight. 22:35 Don't you dare equate last of Us 2 to this dc cry babies. With all respect the DC characters in these stories are different characters from different universes. Their end in this game does not change who they are or neither is it a final story of all finality. The last of us 2 is full stop story. The is no different universe version to say, "atleast it wasn't the main one notion I can rely on for condolence". The last of us 2 ending is permanent and GOD I HATE IT.
Because people wouldn't care of we killed those Justice League. Having it take place in a Universe everyone care about make their death or their supposed death Stronger.
@@Aragorn7884 Well we Dont know because the story is still contining. I will admit they shouldn't have put much trust in people knowledge on how Comics work because just like Comicstorian I could tell the seeds was being planted for this to not be the Real Justice League but they want people to think they are real. They was probably hoping for people to come up with theories and look forward to the ongoing story but it completely backfired especially with the passing of Kevin Conroy which makes this move hurt even more.
What bugs me is that they show hints of Harley having some respect for Batman despite their history but when he’s on his last legs she mocks and kills him without remorse. Like I’m sorry I know Harley can be cruel but I just don’t buy her being so nonchalant about killing Bats but getting all sad over Wonder Woman’s death when they didn’t even know each other. You can have Harley kill Batman but at least make it more believable and satisfying for both
Cuz it wasnt really batman. After the shot she literally said that batman won because if batman was not in control of his body he would want to be killed
So... basically disrespecting a character that was already established and tarnish his reputation by not giving him a good send off, basically all comes down tot he writing and the people writing this blame them.
Fighting Arkham Batman should have been like a 30 minute horror segment where he is constantly trying to assassinate you and you have to work as a team using all your unique strengths to barely take him down
the first fight you have to lose against him feels right. the one you win feels wrong. they had some idea but for some reason they turn and then do the wrong thing. i wonder how much meddling was done.
Arkham batman was the best batman to date. Now, I'm supposed to believe this universe is destroyed with off screen brainwashing and murder of Robin. Also batman has always been shown to resist mind control. Heck he even resist Darkseid brainwashing to the point he had a brain bleed. So how the heck are we supposed to believe this

Sad thing is: it‘s absolutely an Arkam-Game. They even tried to explain the gap between the End of Arkham Knight and this: Bruce seemed to be the Demon Bat until he got Recruited by the JL and moved operations to Metropolis, acting as Batman again. The mental gymnastics on that one… it‘s in the Batman-Museum if you wanna give it a listen.
He never stopped being Batman in the Arkham games. He faked Bruce Wayne's death so he could continue fighting crime as the Demon Bat which is just Batman + Fear Toxin. It's really not that far-fetched to think he would join the Justice League after a few years of solo crime-fighting with no Bruce Wayne persona.
@@thomascheckie2394 But he wouldn't relocate to Metropolis. Bruce Wayne has always been his alter ego so killing off Bruce Wayne to live as Batman wouldn't make him go time to leave Gotham.
The Arkham Batman boss fight should have been luring him into a hand to hand fight and when he tries to counter you the way you beat him is you're supposed to switch characters to hit him as someone else. It would have shown the Squad beating him by working as a team, just like Bruce said.
A huge missed opportunity was not including Killer Moth. He has the wings for flight and mobility, he uses guns, he’s literally called Killer Moth, why is he not in this game?
I remember seeing someone say that there's an easter egg where if the squad dies at some point in the game, Waller will tell Rick Flag to get Killer Moth ready for deployment or something along those lines, I could be wrong tho
@@mdstevens0612 But that’s exactly why he’s perfect. The Suicide Squad isn’t ever 100% high profile villains. They always mix in a few C-Listers and D-Listers, nobody villains. They’re the easiest to work with an extremely expendable. One like Moth who can fly and what not is a pretty good pick.
i wouldnt call being brainwashed an assassination. if anything, to give credit where it's due, it's actually unnerving seeing the league has just enough of their personality left even while they are brainwashed. actually reminds me of the black lantern zombies. hes not doing this of his own free will, none of them are. which makes me wish we could save them rather than kill them off.
One thing I'd like to mention about the game that I don't think I've heard people talk about, is how it depicted Brainiac. I thought the design was kind of interesting and I really love Jason Isaacs as the voice actor, but the dialogue and portrayal was really weird. Since when does Brainiac want to restore Colu? What he wants in the comics is to collect worlds in order to enhance his knowledge. His home planet is irrelevant to him. That felt more like something General Zod would do. Also my problem with his dialogue was that it felt too casual and often funny, when Brainiac is supposed to be cold and calculating.
yeah, all of the nowhere he's quipping and doing some sarcasric comments. All of that just to present as some ego maniac cartoon villian. The "turning earth into Culu" plot line fits more Darksaid, they even established Earth 2 eternal failure to survive.
He became generic british villain in his sarcastic and sardonic delivery. Maybe it’s just down to having Jason Isaacs in the role and letting him do what admittedly he’s great at, but you’re right it felt strange. He didn’t feel characterised as some cold, objective researcher. He certainly wasn’t intelligent. He just didn’t resemble Brainiac at all.
@@tomjames9681 We don't even fucking know what Brainiac we're dealing with, could be Brainiac 5? or 4? those are entirely different versions depeding of the comic. You could even do a explenation in universe that he send waves after wave because he's facinated that such a group had lived for so long with how disfunctional everything is. He would be satiating his mind by presenting challenges while also educating himself on humanity. But he hardly shows up, like superman his dialogue last for max 30 minutes togheter.
Brainiac got the Age of Ultron treatment. Similar to Brainiac, Ultron in that film felt a bit odd for frequently cracking jokes and acting light hearted
Here's the twist of the entire game. Lex Luthor from Earth 2 is actually "Brainiac Prime". Clues. 1. When the defeated Brainiac saw him, he gave that "You" as in "you're the mastermind behind all this". 2. When Brainiac died, Lex Luthor said there were 13 Brainiacs left, Harley said "12", and he gave her that "you dumbass" smirk. 3. Every Arkham game has revolved around Joker somehow being the main villain, it only sets that Luthor is the main villain here. 4. Lex Luthor automatically knows how to hack Brainiac and his ship technology.
That would be a great twist, the person leading you in the assault against the villain is ACTUALLY just the villain leading you into a trap while studying your weaknesses.
And best of all Lex and Brainiac have done the fusion dance before! Remember Justice League animated series, where the Flash has to pull them apart on a molecular level.
I just find it a little odd they can license for the entirety of DC for this game but center their ongoing live service around the B-listers. Is it because of the movie box offices or something?
Regarding The Flash, don't forget about what happened when Wonder Woman caught him with The Lasso of Truth. The purple tint in his eyes briefly went away. It was Barry.

Disrespect to the DC heroes, if you want to kill them you can do so but if the only hero who gets treated with a little respect is WW. Also fuck the gameplay
the lantern ring not working properly, flash's thumb being regenerated, and green kryptonite not working on superman are good points, but there is still one major flaw; arkham wonderwoman is still shown to be 1000% dead. ideally, you would wish for all the league members to survive, so it wouldn't be reasonable to kill one major character (especially wonderwoman) only to later bring back the others who supposedly just had evil doublegangers. i think this is all just the result of bad writing/lack of research and hope that this is truly just an alternative reality.
The others supposedly were their real selves implied by new lines we’ve had released, but are going to be resurrected(Brainiac had a precaution or program of some sort like that in order or something). That said, it would still mean Wonder Woman can’t come back because she wasn’t tied to Brainiac. I’d suppose to bring her back they’d have to pull a God of War and just say she fought through the Underworld or something to get back to Earth 🤷🏻♂️
The devs must've thought at least one JLA character needs to die so the title doesn't feel like a cope out. It isn't bad writing just because it's not what you'd want. The term "bad writing" is thrown around a lot even when it's not really the case.
The problem isnt about the act of killing the well beloved DC heroes. It was the execution. It was so bad. The Flash and Superman taken down by regular bullets and Batman going down like a bitch? Do they not....I dont even know where to begin. Its so wrong. Bad guys winning in the end and killing the heroes isnt a new concept in gaming. In certain games, it dows happen such as what-if scenarios or similar. But at the very least, the developers go out of their way to make it make sense. I just cant tell where to start pointing out on how wrong this game is. You know, the fact that this was Kevin Conroy's last performance as the voice of Batman is like spitting at his legacy.
Who’s to say this is ALL the content they recorded. If his theory is correct (which I think it is, and there is leaked voice lines of flash being brought back) Kevin could have a lot more voice lines recorded for the game
@@TeryJones maybe I’m wrong but if they are bringing back flash then I’m sure the others will follow. Including Kevin, I’m sure they recorded all the audio at once. That’s usually how game development goes, voice acting is done VERY early on

And just like a lot of plot twist in comics I'm pretty sure we didn't kill the Justice League. So yes them Killing the Crime Syndicate really wouldnt make much for a story if you are trying to get fans to care.
I don't know maybe they could have made the main protagonist more interesting? They could have used the forever evil storyline. Where the justice league and other teams have gone missing. The crime syndicate has taken over metropolis, so it's up to the villains for once to save the day.
@@KavinCatastrophe it doesn’t make the story more powerful, it waters it down. Plus, with how bad most of their deaths are and how unbelievable them winning is, it actively harms the narrative. Also, let’s not forget most comics just aren’t that good. Let’s maybe take from the good stories?
That last theory would be great if it came true but would work a lot better if we didn't have to wait for multiple seasons for it to play out. Having the league around for future games would be nice but we'll see.
As far as Superman not showing up, batman states something about project K which I assume is project Kryptonian so if he was being broken and conditioned until the end of the game it makes sense he didn't show up early batman even makes another point that he wasn't ready for field testing yet.
The problem is this doesn't exist in a vacuum, which you kind of noted. Both versions of Gotham Knights also features dead Batman. Right now in the comic Batman is fighting the Bat-Family. There have been growing concerns that DC is trying to replace the classic characters with new versions for whatever reason. (I think there's more than one.) I haven't see a heroic Superman-type since Silver Sentry in the 2003 TMNT series but plenty of evil ones, and the last Superman game was evil Superman. It's not just the game itself but elements of ongoing trends with the DC heroes.
Game sucks let’s be honest. - Bad Story telling - Bad character dialogues between Squad and JL - All enemies are the same and tedious (Marvels Avengers) - Boss fights were the WORST part of the game - A clear push for character customization instead of ensuring the characters are all treated with care. It’s disrespect to the senior staff of the Arkham series. Amazing how technically Arkham Origins is not canon but the fans consider it canon yet SSKTJL is canon but the fans are not considering it to be. Goes to show how greedy the new Rocksteady has become

There are images online that you can find that show that the flash actually has a different thumb, similar to what the brainiac enemies look like, it's sharp and has purple lines in it, I think it just implies that brainiac can heal and fabricate limbs, but he might still have just fully created that league, but that should also mean that he can keep creating them, no?
I definitely agree that the league is coming back, but I don’t think it’s because of cloning, but rather resurrection. There’s audio files about the flash where he specifically asks why is *he* back, and how he understands sending villains to stop the Justice League after *they* went rouge, which implies that it was the real Justice League and not clones. Another file specifically says that the Flash’s resurrection had a significant effect on his nervous system, which again implies that he did in fact die. I think what happened is that Brainiac took their bodies after they were killed by the Squad (which we see happen in the game) and uses his tech to resurrect them. It would also explain why Flash has his finger back.
One thing I haven’t seen ppl talk about is MR.freeze comjng back as a dlc character. Wasn’t he and Nora supposed to have died together at the end of the Arkham dlc ?
Tbh I like how the game looks, but I kinda wished they renamed the game to open up potential new updates like fighting other major threats. I feel kinda goofy enjoying the Suicide Squad more than any of the heroes in my childhood, but they were by far my favorite thing within the last 10 years related to DC.
This is so true, yet some people seem to not understand it. A lot of us have been Arkham fans for literally 15 years, it has not 1, but 3/4 main games in the franchise that all hold their weight and have a huge impact on the fans.
My issue with this game is that it seems to be making somewhat of the same mistake that the DCEU made and how they introduced the suicide squad there. We got a Suicide Squad game before we got a proper Justice League game. Heck people have been wanting a solo Superman game since Arkham Knight. When it comes to Injustice, I don’t know which Superman fans truly hated that game. Perhaps they found it disturbing but the game itself had “evil” Superman be beaten by good Superman so it wasn’t really ‘anti-Superman’, we got over it quickly. As for your theory that they were not the real JL we kill, I suppose we might get a revived JL. Reckon we could revive Kevin Conroy too?
At First I was skeptical that the Justice League would be killed by the Suicide Squad but I thought WB mislead us and that they would be Unbrainwashed later, but then when they Announced that this will be connected to the Arkham Series I was one of the few people who saw the Red Flags, then Kevin Conroy passed away and this would have been one of the Last Roles(with Crisis Part 3 seemingly being his Final Role), and don’t get me started on the multiple Delays for 3 Goddamn Years, the Shooting Mechanic, and the Live Server B$, I knew that this would be not just a Bad Game, but a Insult to DC and Arkham Fans that would have loved to see Rocksteady make either a Superman, Batman Beyond, or Justice League Game but now it’s clear that the Original People behind the Arkham Games have left and are given the Keys to New People that don’t understand what they’re doing that would lead this Once Great Company into Bankruptcy in the Most Distasteful and Distasteful Way Possible, Nobody in their Right Minds would want a Game that you killed off Some of your Favorite Heroes in Cold Blood, the Live Server Shooter Angle is a Terrible Game for a DC Game, the Only Good Character is King Shark, I like Deadshot but his Anger with Green Lantern is Doom, this is the Wrost Harley Quinn played by Tara Strong I didn’t like, Captain Boomerang is the Worst Character in the Game, Lex is more Enjoyable than Waller, the Graphics are a Major Downgrade to the Arkham Games especially when Knight was pure Perfection even if the Game is Overrated, the Side Characters are Boring, and is just Depressing and Not in a Good or Enjoyable Way when you Play or Watch, all I can Say is that MK1 and Spider-Man 2 are far better than this Abomination that I wish was Cancelled completely.
my personal interpretation is that it’s more supposed to be apart of the Arkham mini-multiverse. Earth 2 Lex described how most of the events of the attack in his world were the same, however there were small differences. So in this case, Arkham (or the basic plot points of Arkham) did happen, but this is a branch from that main timeline/universe caused by Brainiac’s invasion and/or is just another one of these parallel timelines
4:20 Can you do something more substantive than Kill the Justice League lore? I’d watch an ep about how different comics have depicted trash cans over time.
Your argument about Injustice is a good one. But as far as I remember, the death in that universe made sense. Superman killing Shazam, Green Arrow and others makes sense. However, a team of B list villains (if not even C list) taking on the Justice League with guns doesn't make sense. Those guys will not last 5 seconds against any of them, furthermore their evil version that will not hesitate to kill. In Gotham Knights, they also killed their Batman, but it was an epic fight between him and Ra's Al Gul. If this game was a Justice League game, I would have bought it instantaneously.. I don't really care or want to play B list villains that are psycophats, murderers and criminals. So I'll pass, despite having bought all the Arkham games previously. I think is a missed opportunity, a Justice League game with that kind of investment and design would have been epic.
People who get so bent out of shape over Batman make me feel like I’m not even a fan 😂. I wasn’t bothered by it I know this is just a one off game it’s not comic cannon if it does it will be a what if type of story or non the main dc universe.
You know there are dialogue leaks for upcoming seasons that have The Flash talking about recovering. My guess is that each new season along with getting a new member of the squad, you save an original league member.
Why do u say this when the actor himself signed off on this…this is the same actor that says he loves playing an evil Batman which is why he played an evil one in the CW series….
I mean do have a better idea on how they should have killed Batman also it would have been cheap to call the game kill the justice league but end up saving them instead imo but haven't played the game and don't really plan too
So basically Justice League “War” without Martian Manhunter?? After watching the gameplay I had a seizure. WAAAAAY too much bs going on to be able to enjoy the environment.
I share your theory about alternate justice leagues, when the Superman getting stabbed thing happend and his reaction, I immediately said 'This isn't the Justice League' I think Rocksteady used shock value to move units, but our Arkhamverse characters are either in Brainiacs skull ship OR elsewhere, and we will hopefully find them, rescue them and maybe have some DLC missions as them getting vengeance? Would love some new Batman predator gameplay :).
As far as reviews go. In my opinion. You are becoming the goat again. As you were in the beginning of your channel. As for me. I am super old school, gaming wise. I started out with pong. But it is refreshing to me. You have a new fire burning in your gut once again. For your different reviews! I enjoyed this one.
No matter what the company says this isn't in the Arkham universe. Far too much is retconned, the convoluted half-assed story clearly was redone last minute to make it an Arkham universe tie in. This is an obviously a shoehorned decision by some braindead executives chasing Arkhams fan nostalgia.
i completely agree with your theory. It may be a cop out for the hardcores but I feel like this is better than just replacing the arkhamverse justice league with a multiverse league. Them getting replaced and maybe stuck in the devices that you use to save the citizens on the bus missions but altered by brainiac so they can survive in it. It would also make sense for braniac to keep them alive because he needs their memories to mimic their behaviors for the fake justice league. He wants to make a new colu and for that he needs earth to submit and what better way to do that than to make the people lose faith in their heroes by seeing them commit atrocities and eventually dying. These heroes have been made out to be gods and having the world see then die will make them lose faith since their heroes are not as invincible as people think they are. I don’t know I wouldn’t be mad at this conclusion. I just hope we get more story than what we got cause that ending wasn’t an ending it was so abrupt and rocksteady has to know better than end it like that and that’s all we’ll ever get.
Finally someone with an objective take of the game that isn't clouded by bs, tbh i just want this game to survive till at least season 4 so I can play deathstroke. The theory comicstorian proposed is very interesting 🤔
In Arkham Knight we also had to pay for costumes so this is no different here honestly, but I do enjoy your review it didn't seem biased. It was fair criticism
As a Batman fan, I am definitely tired of Rogue Superman. I was definitely one of the ones that got on Injustice case due to that Also got the same take on what’s head canon. I got the Arkham Trilogy and it ends with Knight. I loved Last of Us & I’ll never play part 2.
Yeah I thought about the Batman thing from a slightly different lens. Arkham Knight is the end for me as well, no matter how much they want to lazily put this in the Arkham universe for clicks. But if they really wanted to put it in that universe it's such a weird scene in general. Like, he got a bit more than the rest of the league but it wasn't really lingered on nor did our protagonists really grow or reflect after they killed him (though there wasn't really a moment like that for anyone else either, especially supes). Hell from my perspective, Harley didn't even come out of that unscathed either. To have her succumb to being egged on and shoot him like an idiot, especially after that neat moment when she utilizes her background as Harleen to counter the fear toxin, is just sloppy all around. I wouldn't mind if your theory about them being the fake league is correct I guess, but for me that just makes the live service aspect of the game even more deplorable ngl. The fact that it being a live service would stifle any potential of an interesting story doesn't sit right with me.
I believe the theory is right. The issue now is will people want to go through like x amount of expansion over x amount of years spending x amount of money. Plus this is a counsel game so no sense of finality may rub people the wrong way. As comicstorian mentions.
I loved The story😂idk y Y'all Like this...I loved This(25:46) theory Coz that's what I also thought Coz This Is A Peak Story✨😂I just Love the Game fr fr
I feel like and this is just my perspective/ opinion here that he is underselling the flaws and arguments people have about the issues with this game. He isn't inherently saying anything untrue or entirely misleading. People who play live service games may enjoy the game more than the people who wanted an Arkham like , and the story isnt completely terrible, and the deaths of heroes can probably be overlooked or head cannoned into ignoring it. But at the end he acts like the only issue keeping alot of people from trying or wanting to play the game is because people are super fanboys of a character and can't handle their favorite characters dying . And that simply isnt the case with the game at least its not the sole case or argument for not playing it. Mostly all reviews say even from a typical live service standpoint that this game is bad, dry, repetitive, too focused on live service elements, has a lackluster story from the ending to character treatment, it launched with bugs that made a lot of people who paid the extra money for early access not get their moneys worth and even though they did get it back it was in ingame currency not actual money which is just shameless. The list goes on with the problems this game has and to even insinuate it could be great if more people gave it a chance is almost insane. Its almost as if the entire review is him down playing the major critiques about the game to justify the game existing. Oh well the game is a live service but if you play destiny thats ok, oh the game lacks content but like other live service games itll come later, well the micro transactions are a bit insane but there isnt enough in store to see if its truly bad, well boomrang didnt actually piss on flash etc. If anyone pays 70 dollars or more for a game live service or it should have at almost all of its major content availble from the get go and not sample with the intention to expand it, the story element it does have should have a conclusive ending even if its not for everyones tastes, the list goes on. If a game wants you to keep playing it should be a decent game to play from launch and not constantly have the feel like it wants to force you to keep coming back to play it so you can eventually get your moneys worth. Live service or not alot lf live service games give you a decent conclusive ending to an arc and sets up its next one without it feeling like the arc you just played was incomplete, rushed, or had no thought put into it beyond hey play me forever. Its ok if he likes the game but its almost misleading to downplay so much of the issues with the game and then end off with essentially saying if your a D.C. fan boy youll hate the game but if you enjoy live service the $70 dollars was worth it. And it goes to show how misguided his perspective on what people hate about the game is because he puts the review in a format where he detaches the issues into seperate catagorys and talks about them as if they dont link together to impact the entire game or like only a tiny portion of your experience is going to be affected by them. The issue with the game isnt 1 catagory of issues. Its not that sometimes the game is repetitive and lacks content and live service elements gets in the way, or that the story has a crudey ending for the soul purpose of trying to retain players, or the fact the game disrespects not even its own universe and characters but ghe players love for them. The issue with the game is all of those things stacking on top of each other. There are literal moments where it feels like hes being paid to do a P.R. damage control for the game because one minute he'll talk about how something isnt that bad and then contradicts that same thing. " i didnt feel like Batman was disrespected" but the immediately after he is refusing to see it as canon to Arkham verse to the point he even wants them to come out and say its an alternative unniverse. Stuff like that just makes the review seem like its not genuine even if it is. Especially when almost nobody who reviewed the game says its worth buying. Im not discounting his opinions and theyre fair ones to have if he likes the game but I also feel like when you have to go out of your way to justify every single element of the game you have to come to a realization the game itself is bad and you shouldn't be recommending people to give it a try or spending 70 Dollars on a game that largely has been deemed as not worth people time or money.

Kill the justice league is a bold move. But, with the story as it is now, I don't think it was well handled. Hope the dlc change things up somehow. It's a good looking game, with some prols, but I refuse to accept that a character like Arkham Batman got the ending he did. Really hope they are clones.
If the clone theory is true, I believe that if the JL was to show back up to the public after all that their clones did, its a setup for them admitting that they alone weren't enough so that brings them to introduce more members to the JL and which is also another way they can introduce more characters for the passes, an example would be hawkgirl or something
interesting live service? so you like paying full price for a games with barley any content with micro transactions the game is dead its on sale for 20 bucks and still has very little endgame content
@debonlr It's not a mandatory purchase. You're free not to play it. They told us what the game would be from the start. I'm interested in if it's good for what it IS, not what I wish it was.
I would have liked Harley to make more of a meal out of Batman's death... maybe even a sequence where she does a comical, Gollum talking to himself style roleplay of what Batman would say in this situation... talking over Nega-Batman, or perhaps Nega-Batman is unconscious at this point. As far as Batman's last scene, technically, that was the recording where he was still himself and was unknowningly giving TFX a pep talk. THOSE were Batman's last words. The guy that Harley killed was a different, reprogrammed guy.
I meant to clarify, but we missed it in the edits

Thank sweet baby Inc. for only giving wonder woman a heroic death.

They literally copied ultrons personality from avengers 2 and put it in brainiac

Ohhhhhhh fudge, that’d be a good twist.
Wait hold up bro might actually be onto something
It they actually do that it might redeem the 12 brainiacs twist ...just a little bit.

the lantern ring not working properly, flash's thumb being regenerated, and green kryptonite not working on superman are good points, but there is still one major flaw; arkham wonderwoman is still shown to be 1000% dead. ideally, you would wish for all the league members to survive, so it wouldn't be reasonable to kill one major character (especially wonderwoman) only to later bring back the others who supposedly just had evil doublegangers. i think this is all just the result of bad writing/lack of research and hope that this is truly just an alternative reality.
The others supposedly were their real selves implied by new lines we’ve had released, but are going to be resurrected(Brainiac had a precaution or program of some sort like that in order or something).

My Child Hood was Murdered By Harley Quinn and a bunch of losers.
Finally a fair review, screw haters, I'm having loads of fun playing this and can't wait for more to come!
Harley is the worst character
my personal interpretation is that it’s more supposed to be apart of the Arkham mini-multiverse.
Batmans dragged out death was just f disrespectful and disgusting.
About the last of us 2. Im 100% with you mate. My friend told me what happens to Joel and i also refused to play it.
My only problem I had with the game was that they killed Batman which isn't the way you honor a Voice actor like Kevin Conroy.
Imagine building your studio on the legend himself them sending him off with what is essentially a "wet fart in an elevator:
It’s literally in the title though?
Why do u say this when the actor himself signed off on this…this is the same actor that says he loves playing an evil Batman which is why he played an evil one in the CW series….
I mean do have a better idea on how they should have killed Batman also it would have been cheap to call the game kill the justice league but end up saving them instead imo but haven't played the game and don't really plan too
They wouldn’t know it’d be his last performance they’d have no way of assuming he’d die right before release
I do like the look of HACK the AI but not the voice. That's about it...
Thats why i really believe the JL members were clones
So basically Justice League “War” without Martian Manhunter?? After watching the gameplay I had a seizure. WAAAAAY too much bs going on to be able to enjoy the environment.
Just watch the cutscenes of the game on youtube for the story no need to do the mind numbing live service gameplay loop.
RIP
No wonder both Rocksteady's Co-founders left in 2022, they knew the ship was going to sink....
Last of Us 2 for you is Suicide Squad Kill the Justice league for us
At this point even Gotham knights gave Batman dying more respect than suicide squad did
Batman beyond with Bruce in oracle's role would've been insanely good. Sucks we got this...
Feels like SUNSET OVERDRIVE with all that leaping thru the sky's literally. Just needs Grinding
16:39 I reckon that’s poetic because that’s the same way how his parents died, how Batman was born and how he died become full circle
i completely agree with your theory.
It’s nice to see such a strong relationship between WB and this channel. Wholesome
If they are clones theory is true… then Wonder Woman is very dead 💀 (because she wasn’t captured by brainiac)
I was definitely one of the ones that got on Injustice case due to that
Also got the same take on what’s head canon. I got the Arkham Trilogy and it ends with Knight. I loved Last of Us & I’ll never play part 2.
If it wasn’t the Arkham verse I wouldn’t have given a shit like in Gotham knights.
Honestly if this wasn't in the Arkhamverse, or even the fact that this was one of Kevin Conroy's last performances it would have given a pass from me
Yeah I thought about the Batman thing from a slightly different lens.
The fact that it being a live service would stifle any potential of an interesting story doesn't sit right with me.
there are so so so so many problems
the whole fortnite comparison makes zero sense
I believe the theory is right. The issue now is will people want to go through like x amount of expansion over x amount of years spending x amount of money. Plus this is a counsel game so no sense of finality may rub people the wrong way. As comicstorian mentions.
No need for money to spend. All expansions are free, just cosmetics cost money
Im not discounting his opinions and theyre fair ones to have if he likes the game but I also feel like when you have to go out of your way to justify every single element of the game you have to come to a realization the game itself is bad and you shouldn't be recommending people to give it a try or spending 70 Dollars on a game that largely has been deemed as not worth people time or money.
what if the the squad is in some type of simulator that waller put them in
Alternate universe 👀
What could she possibly have to gain from that?
@@forcecaptainoverlordsuprem2964 umm see if the squad could actually like kill the League if need
@@ethanjames8268 I think she has better things to do than make a simulation where Lex 2 is hitting on her and she is telling King Shark to call her daddy.
Well done Benny
well done for what? me thinks this is a bot
@@DermotBrophy I am not a bot
I’m totally of the same mindset, funny thing about last of us 2 is was hating on it but when I got around to playing I couldn’t help but admire the games ambition and talent. That experience really prepared me for this I think cause now I can appreciate things for what they are.
I blame Warner Bros for this. This reeks of "Studio who makes single player games is forced to make a live service".
I found the boss fight lazy, SPOILERS, it had potential when Brainiac transforms but it was just the one transformation, at least they could have cycled through everyone.
Hmm some people spent like $100 for the game and you only get like 12ish hours of unique content, it seems like a really big scam
He said 12 hours if your like super speed rushing but not common
@@Peecamarke I mean sure if we bump it to say a generous 20hrs of content thats still like $70-100 for the base game, then you have to include battle pass pricing for an additional $10-20, then similar prices for full skins not including color palletes for some stupid reason.
I personally think all most live service games are scams not worth their price. So I definitely do have a Bias.
Small request:
Can you change the title to "Problem With: Suicide Squad Kills The Justice League | Review"
Coming off from your previous videos where you liked the game or were apologetic about it during the beta, the current video title can suggest that the video is saying "the issue with the reviews" rather than saying "the issue with the game, also this is my review of it". The "|" doesn't add text space but does help alot to reaffirm the intended meaning with your title.
Ideology driven people should not be in charge of our beloved games.
Kill the justice league is a bold move. But, with the story as it is now, I don't think it was well handled. Hope the dlc change things up somehow. It's a good looking game, with some prols, but I refuse to accept that a character like Arkham Batman got the ending he did. Really hope they are clones.
Death of Batman 😔
If the clone theory is true, I believe that if the JL was to show back up to the public after all that their clones did, its a setup for them admitting that they alone weren't enough so that brings them to introduce more members to the JL and which is also another way they can introduce more characters for the passes, an example would be hawkgirl or something
Thank you so much. Too many of the reviews have been from the point of view of an Arkham game. This is set up to be an interesting live service.
interesting live service? so you like paying full price for a games with barley any content with micro transactions the game is dead its on sale for 20 bucks and still has very little endgame content
Game is ass
