I really enjoy your thought processing while you do this. Sure it's time consuming but that's all part of real life and who wouldn't like to watch Michael Angelo at work (not that you're Michael Angelo, Gediminas ) but you get what I'm meaning I hope. It's reassuring seeing similar struggles as the mistakes are where one learns a lot from. Observation is a great tutor.
Keen to see the rendering especially the wear and grime....
One thing that keeps going through my mind is how this is going to 3D print.....
Thanks for posting this series it's a super night time bedside book.

Thank you! It's really nice to hear it. Actually I've started building up the material in the latest stream (part 6), so check that one out! As for 3D printing - we'll see, I'll probably use a DLP rather than FDM printer.

    Hello, Gediminias !
So fun to watch and learn from this series of SubD livestreams (the car from the future) ! Thank you so much for you effort and patience ! It helps a lot !
I've noticed the difficulties with the SubD "bridge" command, and I think the problem is in the command bar:
    - if you first type in "bridge" you will see that it states "Select FIRST set of edges or faces to bridge", after that you can select the first edge (or multiple edges on one side) you want, hit enter and you will see "Select SECOND set of edges to bridge", then you select the opposite edges, hit enter again and it's all ok!
As an example you can check out in this clip around minute 58:10, you've selected both opposite edges and hit enter, but actually if you look in the command bar it states "Select SECOND set of edges to bridge", that's why it was not working. I hope you find this useful!
And one more thing: if you hit the right mouse button (or even the Spacebar or the Enter key) , rhino will repeat the last command, and this saves me a whole bunch of time, I think you should try it.
Sorry for this long sausage comment, but maybe this helps. Have a great day and keep up your amazing work, I really appreciate it!

Hi there, thanks for writing this - I think it's gonna be useful for some new users. As for me - after a while I got the sense of it, but damn - even remembering how it works - I just can't get it into my muscle memory. Almost a year has passed and I still sometimes make this mistake :D

But of course, it's totally understandable for a teacher like yourself, your "muscle memory" is so used to working with a billion different software interfaces, and therefore it must be tough enough to remember so many shortcuts and commands from all those programs, let alone explain it to people in a livestream . You are a true perfectionist and your attitude inspires me to become more perseverant ! Can't wait to finish watching all the episodes and see how the car looks before production! After that I will be watching your Rhino V-Ray Tutorial, it's on my list of things to do! Cheers from Romania, Gediminas! All the best!

I really love your videos, will you have a condensed version of the SubD modelling? This format seems a bit long

Oh yea, once the model is done, I'll definitely cut all of the streams into one (shorter) video!
