This rendering session was really helpful, especially the mix map bit! More of this please! :D

You got it! Will do a whole vray rendering series in the near future!

These videos have been the most useful Rhino related content that I have come across. Great job on the modelling and the whole rendering process. Just one request, would you consider creating a car with open wheel arches in SubD because I have found that to be the hardest part of car modelling in SubD. I mean getting the inside edge of the fender to meet up with the bottom of the model and still have good topology with space for the wheels.

Glad you like them! That seems to be a topological issue mostly, next livestream that I do - I'll model it out, so just stay tuned for livestream recordings :)

hey i had a question. Does Rhino only render SubD boxes as the smooth version? I made a model using flat subD and it fits my desired look, but when i render, it changes all the SubD to smooth and ruins it

Just select all edges of your subD and use Crease command on them. That will lock everything into a "hard surface" look.

Great serie. I am learning a lot. I just have a question since I heard the word BLENDER about 100 times in this videos I wanted to ask you if blender is useful to make product design. I made a lamp with rhino and grasshoper which I printed in 3D and it was really fun. Now I want to make more of such things. Is Blender also good for this kind of stuf or is it more for rendering?

Yea, when I start talking about something, I will usually talk about it for a while. In this case it was Blender. It's great for animations, rendering, sculpting and 3D model assets for video games/other computer graphics. For product design that will actually need to be manufactured - blender is much much weaker than Rhino. I would definitely suggest using Rhino if you want to design "real" things.

As someone who uses Rhino and is teaching myself Blender I can say that Blender is a faster modeler. I am learning it so I can create iterations and design ideas faster and edit them more quickly. Once something is finalized I will rebuild it in Rhino.

hoping to get a shortcut version of this / any subD rhino tutorial . counting days
    :D

There are no shortcuts - only pain. Also I compressed this whole project into 2 hours: ua-cam.com/video/fPU1OnstofA/v-deo.html

@@DesignGoBrr yes. I meant compressed version actually. Sorry for my word picking. Thank you by the way. You’re awesome 👉🏼
