The B58 is such a sweet engine. And because of the new Supra there is already a massive aftermarket support everywhere. From US, Europe to Japan and everywhere else in between are building parts for this engine. I must have a car with a B58 in the future.

My dad has a 2019 c43 coupe. Great car, very high quality. Sounds great even with the opf
how do you know which models have the opf? have a 2021 glc63s coming, will it have the opf?

I think even some petrols prior to 2019 have it.
I have a late 2018 GLC63s and I believe has it and my brother has an early 2018 S3 which I think has it too.
M. H. We ordered it Early 2019 an due to the new emission regulations it had a delay of like 4 month because of that. I think it was may 2019 the C 43 got the opf. But still, the sound is great. Not like the rs6 c8 for example, which has no sound at all with the new regulations. We also have a 2020 Cayenne Coupe v6 which has also no sound at all due to the opf..

BMW engines produce more power than thay say ahahahaha. If they say that an engine has 250 hp, in reality they are more 270/280

I have GLE 400 with 3.0bt engine (same as C43, but detuned to 333hp). Now, with downpipe and new ECU I have around 430hp on ron 95, pretty quick I would say

Bmw touring is super fast and nice to drive ... as I picked up a G21 330i. But exhaust sounds better in the merc. Bmw OPF filter is making the car quiet... in mine, it sounds best under acceleration in second gear around 4/5000 RPM

It's the c43 for me. Looks more elegant as well as sporty. Sounds better especially inside the cabin, which is most important cause the driver obvisously doesn't drive the car from outside.
Hopefully u know the sound on the inside is coming from the speaker.

Both very nice cars, but I'd have the BMW if I had the choice as I love that engine.
The Merc has a bit of a gash interior imo, too blingy (just my personal taste, some folk love it I know).

C43 sounds way more better than the m340i
From the outside they are almost the same, but from the inside the c43 sounds way better.
But that doesnt matter because this c43 is going out of production in a few months and a new 4 pot c43 is coming. That will sound worse thsn the m340i which will stay for another 3 years

If I were to choose one as a daily driver, I would get the Merc. If I were to choose a good engine it goes to BMW.

@@ffpsffps6766 my best friend is a mechanical engineer. He programmed it for me. He works with JP Performance in Dortmund. And my performance exhaust system opens completely. INSANE sound without new filter. (My car is from 2018)

@@danilo9572 No, it was the estate version. Do a search for 'Carwow M340i Touring'. But, the time of 4.1 seconds they achieved is 0-60, rather than 0-62 which would be the equivalent of 0-100 kph. Still better than what we saw by AutoTopNL.
