I’m considering locking my hair. I did a big chop a few years ago. I’ve been natural every since. Now ‘spirit moves me’ to lock my hair. Thanks Hallease, for leading the way to my loc journey! ❤️
Good advice. I was one of those people who battled with flat locs. I thought I was doing something wrong. Your positivity on flat locs puts my mind at ease. Thank you. See you on the Gram.
Most of my locs are flat. I think it's mainly from wearing baseball caps a lot. I am a personal trainer so I had worn hat's a lot at the beginning of my journey to keep them out the way. My locs are longer now so I can wear up now. To be honest I don't really mind them. I was concerned at first but 18 months in, I love my locs!😃
Thank you for this video I have 3 flat locs & couldn't figure out for the life of me how they got like that until this video. The first 8 months of my loc journey I interlocked once a month afterwards I started semi free forming. I'm 2 yrs into my loc journey & started looking at each loc which still amazes me but I love how unique each loc is. Thanks for sharing your beautiful locs
I have 1 big flat free-form lock on the right side of my head and a couple at the top. They're different to the others, that makes them special. I love them💖💖💖
Hi! I’m 1 year and 8 months in with 133 locs and a notice that I have a few flatties lol! Like you, I don’t mind them at all. Anyway, I love your videos and your locs are beautiful 💕
When i look up flat locs and see yall how flat yall stuff is, it is nothing compared to the flat locs i have💀💀💀 like my shit is thick and look like a damn table💀
I have flat locs- I think mine stems from prolong freeforming. I’m ok with it now tho. I do make sure to palmroll with my retwist every 2 months or so to maintain some sort of consistency
My locs are 8 mos and they seem to go flat when I wash and sleep on them. I find myself squeezing the damp locs to reshape them . I don’t really mind either way.
is it normal for baby free forms be flat in first months while forming? I will be 2 months in 1,5 week, my hair are soft and they r oval when I palm roll but some of them just flat zig zags once dried (not sleeping with wet hair) I want as thicker locs as possible so palm rolling is not a very top choice for me

Here's a true good subscriber. That's really sweet. I love her videos too.
I've stopped retwisting my hair and since then several of my locs have become flat. I think it looks pretty cool
