    Sorta unreal that this is a nine month update when I feel like I just watched you announce that you were *considering* locing again. Time moves real quick

    Beautiful Hallease!!! I'm 5 weeks into my second loc journey and it's going well. I'm going to do my first retwist this week and when I'm further along in my journey, I'm seriously thinking about free forming or starting off with semi free forming. With my first set I went to my loctician every 4-5 weeks so now that I'm overseas I'm going to do less manipulation and see how it goes.

    LOL when you said don't quote me on this at the end that's exactly what I said when I shared this post on my Facebook saying "I might try locks when I'm older but don't quote me on this I love my loose natural hair" I just see myself going through a phase where I'm tired of my loose Hair and want to try something different with low manipulation, less maintainance and to show my growth potential too

    I am struggling with this. My hair is definitely moving into the wrong loc and sticking together. It's frustrating 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

    Been thinking about doing Loc's all year and this seems like a good way for me hop right into instead of waiting for someone to make them "perfect" for me. This inspired me big time!
    I've feel into the rabbit hole of your channel and you're awesome!

    Why is it called popping locs

    • @hallease
      @hallease  6 років тому +4

      Because of the sound you hear while separating your locs

    This is one of the few videos that shows how to separate locs without yanking the hairs apart or cutting them with scissors

      It's a combo, I purchase Rosewater add vegetable glycerin and 5 - 10 drops of rosemary essential oil to the spray bottle.
